I actually like Hope n Thomas together really Hope should of never went back to Liam the first time he messed up waffling between Hope n Steffy, n she could of had Thomas then. Hope isn't doing no more worst than The Logan Sisters have done cheat lie n destroy other people marriages including their own. I'm rooting for Hope n Thomas even just to piss Brooke off🌹🤣

Yes I also noticed how Ridge turns from the worst thing since war to the most deserving Forrester who is so so rightfully concerned about his dad dropping dead by guiding a pencil in his grandson's hand to create a collection. To me it has a lot to do with Ridge's children who are so beloved and God forbid their position is in some way threatened or they are overshadowed by anything carrying the Logan gene.

I hope Ridge and Eric will have a fair and civil competition. Am I the only one who thought that red headed guy sounded like he was flirting with RJ? "Is there anything else I can do for you"? Anyway, that Luna is definitely up to something. With that situation, and Eric vs. Ridge, and Hope & Thomas, it's proof the show can be interesting and engaging with that vile played out Sheila character.

Me too. And the comments about Ridge being an ass I see a little differently. He has seen Eric's odd behaviour lately just because of a stapler and to me there is more going on than just arthritis. And I would be concerned about my father showing that kind of behaviour suddenly but I do hope this can be a fun rivalry between father, son and a "good" fashion show for a change.
DeleteWhat I find really funny is that Eric himself always is the first one to say „it’s in your blood“ like he desperately wants to erase from everyone's memories the shameful Marone gene. But you can't wish biology away. Okay treat him as his son 100%, but don't say blood.
DeleteTheir biology might be different but Ridge never grew up (not a single day) with his bio dad. It's not in their blood (which I more feel is just a term of reference) but certainly a sort of learnt heritage that will continue to go down the generations. Ridge himself talked about the times he would hide below Eric's desk while he was in meetings and Eric, as well, told RJ about how he and Ridge used to draw/design together when Ridge was his age. It's a learnt ability for sure.

The “desire” that Hope had for Thomas consisted of the last 5 minutes of their marriage. Hope was 100% committed to Liam for years and years!!

Elle I know, but who he grew up with and whose desk he hid under doesn't have *anything* to do with the blood. Doesn't change the blood itself so that the word keeps being thrown in the mix all the time. Like I said, I don't have any problem with Eric treating Ridge 100% like his son, it is just so noticeably funny how he keeps saying "blood" as if they are doing it for the newer viewers sake that it's never revealed that Ridge (and by extension any of his children) have another bloodline. There are better and more accurate ways to call them Forresters than making a mockery of DNA.

It looks just sad that this man can't get her love no matter what he does. I don't think that being used is in any way more dignified than being ignored and allowed to find someone who truly loves him. But it's his path.
Delete@Lynn That's not true. For months we saw Hope fighting what she was feeling for Thomas. She might not have wanted to lose her marriage over it, but make no mistake, she has been having the "hots" for Thomas for quite some time now. Most definitely not 5 minutes.

For years, we knew Eric to be Ridge's father then, it was found out that Massimo was really Ridge's dad and before, you knew it, the storyline was over and never heard of again. You might be right, maybe this is the writer's way of trying to get people to forget about the whole Marone business.

It’s just an expression. Bottom line, Hope is using Thomas for sex. The exact thing that you did NOT want to happen. You wanted a beautiful love story. Instead it’s just a LUST story. Truth!

But because everyone knows how much Thomas loves Hope, it really is very degrading to him to have her handle things this way with him. He probably hopes this will develop into feelings of love from Hope. That remains to be seen. Right now she is just enjoying being naughty. A side of Hope that I don’t like, because I have always liked that she was a good girl.

Mmysh, it couldn’t be any more obvious….what Hope is getting out of all this. She is fulfilling her bad girl fantasy. She has been a good girl all her life so this is the devil side of Hope in action. No one is daring to use the “Hope’s IN LOVE with Thomas” statement these days. But who knows where this will lead. To me, it doesn’t matter what capacity this relationship moves in….current lust, or possible future love. It’s all just disgusting to me no matter how you slice it!!

Because Elle, I think what they are doing is disgusting. Always have, always will. You wanted a love story. I wanted nothing to happen between them at all. Neither of us got what we wanted. You had stated more than once that you wanted it to be this epic love story since they have known each other all their lives, and you didn’t want it to be an affair.

DeleteBut we don't know where things are headed with them as yet. So far, I have gotten a part of what I wanted to see happen, which is Liam out of the picture. Thomas and Hope are not carrying on some sordid, illicit affair. They're free to be with each other, and I'm very pleased about that. I also wanted to see their feelings for each other happen organically with Hope genuinely falling in love with Thomas. I'm patient. By Christmas, who knows what the state of their relationship would be.

I haven’t wanted Liam and Hope together for weeks and weeks. Liam turned into a total jerk and I’ve been bashing his behavior for a while now. Me not wanting Hope together with Thomas has nothing to do with Liam. I don’t want Hope with Thomas because I think it’s gross and he has done horrible things to Hope and her family. You don’t enter into a relationship with a man who tried to keep your newborn child from you. And the…”she has found forgiveness” story doesn’t hold water. It’s fine that she forgive him….because holding onto hate and anger isn’t healthy. But you don’t pursue a romantic relationship with the person who did that to you. I’ve said that very thing dozens of times.

Considering everything Thomas has done to Hope and to Douglas I still don’t believe even in her current state Hope will fall in love with Thomas and build a relationship on this toxic ground. It is not the same as forgiving cheating. It’s living and building a life with a man who has done criminal and evil things to you and those you love.

DeleteWhile Thomas seems like a decent guy right now, he’s always going to be at risk of going back to his old ways. He’s not going to be this good guy forever. If it’s not Hope that causes him to revert back, then it will be his upcoming power struggle with RJ. If Hope and Thomas end up marrying and it is presented as them being the happy little family, it will be my cue to stop watching B&B once and for all. I just don’t think I’ll be able to stomach it.
Same Lynn. But I believe it won't end up this way. They can't force-wipe out all the damage and fast forward replace it with love. On screen, love grows over the years and is based on long term mutual desire. What we have here is long term one-sided stalking. And Thomas is not now suddenly a perfect goody-goody with no trace of old Thomas. No character changes completely 180. There will be a catalyst to push him back, sooner or later 😁😁 I think we already see glimmers eg in the way he looks at a picture, the intensity hints at old times and not the puppy eyes of recently.
DeleteMilla, if all you've seen over the years is one-sided stalking between Thomas and Hope, then you haven't been paying attention. His stalking ended in 2019 with his brain surgery. And even then, he had stopped his stalking and was more obsessed in terms of his fantasies about Hope and the whole mannequin debacle in which Hope showed genuine care and concern for him while they co-parented their son together.
DeleteFor the past 4 years, Hope has shown that she believes in and trusts Thomas. She showed him that she had moved past all that happened with Beth and everything else. She may not have been attracted to him until late last year but, for the past 4 years, their relationship was certainly not anything close to one-sided stalking.
Exactly Elle.. since and even before his surgery, he has shown he has changed, apart from the cps call.. he got Liam out of prison when he could have taken advantage of the situation and Liam himself asked Thomas to look after hope and the kids.. Liam would not have done that if he was so worried about Thomas and his past.. Thomas slipped up with the cps call, but other than that over the years he has respected her and Liam’s marriage and not done anything to Hope and her marriage.. but one slip up , to which others have done worse, take bill for example, and all the good he did is forgotten..

If Ridge left Eric would give the Company to Brooke and her Family a Company he would not have if it was not for Stephanie his late wife and her Father Money!
