Elle, is it really any surprise about Brooke?? Between ordering Hopd around and going to spy on Erics designs for Ridge, how does she find time to work?? I am loving RJ these days!! What a sweetie he is!! Even Katie wasn’t happy with what Brooks was saying!!

Ufff I'd like to see Thomas and RJ butt heads 😁 good for RJ for finally telling those guys the truth. "Whatever direction that guy guys are taking the company, you're doing it on Eric Forresters legacy." And that goes for Brooke too. She's sometimes blindly loyal to Ridge whether he's right or not.

I am really liking RJ more and more too. Always thought he was a sweet kid, but now they are giving him some substance in the storyline and his acting skills are really coming along. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
DeleteI think Brooke should spend her time talking to Ridge about supporting Eric. Eric and Brooke have always been extremely close. So I’m having a tough time believing she would behave this way with blind allegiance to Ridge.

I didn’t like how Thomas took Ridge's side when talking to RJ. Thomas is always the manipulator / salesman. But RJ held his own just fine!!

Lynn not to mention Eric has always supported Brooke, you probably even haven't seen all the things she put him through and he never said one bad word about her, quite the opposite always was her and Ridge's biggest champion. She really isn't behaving well now.

ReplyDeleteI think Eric can afford to rent a space to create the designs with RJ instead of using the living room. I would be worried about someone coming in and stealing ideas. I remember the days of Forrester vs. Spectra when Sally Spectra (the OG Sally) would pull all kinds of tricks to get Forrester secrets. Disguises, spies, hidden cameras. It was more fashion back then. I miss those days from the beginning to the 90s. Ugh, I'm showing my age. Let's say I was 4 years old when the show started. Wink wink.

ReplyDeleteI found myself becoming disappointed in Brooke today...which doesn`t normally happen. You are standing behind the wrong person and showing blind loyalty to the ah that is Ridge, it`s a shame he doesn`t show you the same.
ReplyDeleteThey all need to remember that without Eric this company wouldn`t even exist and this upheaval wouldn`t be happening. Keep your place Ridge and the rest of the employees too. Eric made this company the success it is today and the rest need to show him respect and gratitude, which Ridge and Thomas are devoid of. Their arrogance appears to know no boundaries! It feels as if RJ is the only one who truly respects Eric and understands that without him they would not be where they are today...any of them.
I hope Eric wipes the floor with his stepson.
Yes Elle, Douglas`s character is written to be an intelligent and caring child, hence he appears to be older than his years.
You know, Maur, I'm not really invested in this Eric/Ridge storyline at all. I can see both sides. I don't see Ridge as being arrogant. I believe he is genuinely concerned for his dad. We saw that from the moment the stapler scene happened. Then again when he questioned RJ about what is really going on with his dad. RJ is keeping pertinent information from Ridge about Eric because if Ridge were to find out about Eric's situation, he would all the more not want him concerning himself with producing a new line all on his own, and both Eric and RJ know that. Eric is just being stubborn.
DeleteAnd while I can see where Eric is coming from with wanting to go out with a bang, this all started based on his own perception of things which, as we saw (and commented) seems to have occurred because of possible memory/recollection issues. He went off on Ridge because of his old stapler. He started to talk about people pushing him aside and not letting him use his own office. At no time, did Ridge want to push him aside. So this vigor that Eric has about putting out this line and his perception about Ridge are misplaced, in my opinion.
I still feel that Eric may not be around to see the finished product however, I believe RJ will represent on his behalf and this will cement him as an official member of the design team at FC.
👏👏👏 I'm seeing things the same way. I never thought taking over the company and putting Eric out to pasture was Ridges intentions. It was concern that started with the stapler and sudden outbursts. Brooke now is out of line. The look on Donna and Katie's said it all.
DeleteBrooke will be Brooke. Ridge has insisted that he is very happy that RJ is designing with Eric yet, she continues to push the narrative that RJ working with Eric can cause issues between Ridge and RJ. And now, she's flat out stabbing Eric in the back after all of the support he has shown her over the years. I'm not sure what her goal is but I think she should step back and just show some support to Eric and her son. Showing them support does not mean that she can't show Ridge support too.

ReplyDeleteForester Creation was founded by Stephanie, Eric ex wife Father who gave Stephanie the Fiance to give to Eric to continue with his dream and Until today Eric is not giving credit to the success behind Forester Creation which is Stephanie Forester and her Father!! I don't like Eric and NEVER DID!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of Eric's but designing was HIS passion and FC was HIS dream, which he worked hard to see to fruition. Stephanie's father just invested in Eric's dream and Stephanie reaped the rewards for many years. FC is Eric's legacy, noone else's.

DeleteUnfortunately Anniemae, they may have started up the company but money doesn`t buy natural and raw talent like Erics. So without him it would have been a building with a name over the door and they would have wasted a lot of money.
