Brooke doesn't want family drama, but as usual stirring up the problems. Brooke barges in on Hope again. Brooke should say, "It was different when I did it!" wish Hope would say, "yeah mom it was so much different because you hung on all your life for visits between times that Ridge was running away from Taylor." Get out you nosy old bag! It's NONE of her business!

ReplyDeleteCue Chandler Bing voice: Could Brooke BE any more annoying? "What about Liam?," when she knows perfectly well that Liam rejected Hope. I used to like Brooke, but now she's practically in the same category as Liam and Sheila as "worst characters ever." Some of Thomas's facial expressions during Brooke's rant were pretty funny though. Even without saying a word, it was pretty easy to guess what he was thinking.
ReplyDeleteIt is disgusting for Brooke to keep pushing Liam when she knows he’s claiming his love for Steffy and had flat out refused to forgive Hope or give her a second chance! Why keep hurting her that way, not to mention she’s just pushing Hope closer to Thomas with her behaviour.

DeleteI believe that Hope still has feelings for Thomas but is afraid of admitting it because of Liam and Brooke. She sure doesn't act like Thomas is just "wham, bam, thank you sir." She is always spooning with him after sex, telling him how he makes her feel, and she always wants to be in his arms. And what about that little slip up today when she said that the love is not there "yet." Its like she's waiting for some time to pass before she admits her true feelings.

DeleteI really love how RJ with NO education or experience, who always shunned the family business is suddenly the golden child and is a designer after five minutes with Eric!! I totally get natural talent but seriously, he suddenly a designer for couture. I remember all the hoops Rudge, Thorne, Steffy, Thomas even Zende had to jump through and all the years of work to get an opportunity to lust is just handed to RJ.

I got a feeling, after that last conversation between Eric and Donna, that we're not going to be seeing Eric for much longer. Even Ridge and RJ got so emotional talking about Eric. I don't think Eric is gonna see the finished product of his last couture line.

If Taylor was ever on the show anymore, she’d be doing the exact same thing. We all know it’s true! So everyone can take a chill pill on the Brooke hate!!
And oh by the way, Hope and Thomas should not be screwing on the couch at Forrester. It’s completely inappropriate. Hope needs to find a new place (preferably someone’s home) where she can fulfill her lustful desires. Lol.

DeleteHope will always be Brooke’s “kid”….no matter that she is in her 30’s. Brooke will still be giving advice when Hope is in her 50’s….assuming Brooke is still around. Parents are parents until the day they die.
DeleteAnd I never said Hope had to follow what her mom said. Hope is a grown woman and can tell her mom she is perfectly capable of making her own decisions. But moms always want what THEY think is best for their kids. And Brooke does NOT think Thomas is best. Brooke should be suggesting that Hope just take some time to herself.

But Brooke knows Liam doesn't want Hope. He admitted his true love is Steffy, so as a mother I wouldn't keep telling my daughter to persue a fairy tale family when the husband is in love with another woman.

It’s gonna take her a long time to get over the Hope & Liam family she has supported for years!! The best thing Brooke could do for Hope is try to convince her to take some time for herself. Jumping into this thing (whatever this thing is) isn’t the healthiest of choices. Hope has as much as admitted she is using Thomas for sex. The whole thing is bad on so many levels.
Milla, for sure Stephanie was the queen of the buttinskis!! She was always trying to manipulate the situation and would go to extreme lengths to get what she wanted. You are right that Brooke is an amateur compared to Stephanie!

Oh so true about Liam, Lynn, the guy is fickle and some months from now Hope will be his one true love again, the one he never wanted to lose but he couldn’t handle the Thomasness of it all (and rightfully so, I may add). Not sure anyone would support the reunion. Some hate him, some hate the way Hope bulldozed her marriage and family. But it is inevitable. Btw they may have a nostalgic ONS like he had with Steffy and that could lead to a baby with unclear paternity.

DeleteD - I wasn’t watching 20 years ago to see Brooke and Ridge do it at FC. What I do know is that since I’ve been watching - for approx 5 years, I have never ever seen Brooke and Ridge do it at FC. And if they did, my opinion would be exactly the same. No one should be having sex in the workplace. It’s just simple common sense!

DeleteIt’s hilarious her lecturing Hope on anything really. Hope is a grown woman in her 30’s she doesn’t need mummy to keep beating the dead horse if Liam. Especially given she knows Liam flatly refused to give Hope and chance and he is telling everyone how in love he is with Steffy and what a mistake it was ever leaving her!
I wish if she has to say something, encourage Hope to be alone and not see anyone right now. But no it’s shove Liam down Hopes throat again!
Liam changes his mind about who he’s in love with these days as often as most people change their shirt. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. So I wouldn’t put too much stock in it. But I do agree that Brooke should be telling Hope to take some time to herself. I said that in an earlier comment as well.

Oh milla It's great they are writing a good story for three generations of MEN and addressing ageism. Now stop exploiting and degrading your female characters and empower THEM TOO instead of making them porn stars for their abusers, maybe they'll get some respect back.
DeleteThis storyline is good but my concern is that There is a mean-spirited streak that has run through the writing of this show from day one. The way Ridge, the favored Golden Boy, always belittled Thorne, who had to grow up in his shadow, know his mom and dad favored big brother, Stephanie's put-downs of others, and anyone she felt was "less than," was always mean-spirited. Ridge is equally sneering and insulting toward anyone he considers "less than." Less talented, less privileged background, less successful, etc.
a more relevant example is Beth Logan a Mean-spirited storyline ending a sweet, gentle character for the bully Stephanie to win.
This SL is refreshing to get away from the tired triangles and recycled SL‘s. A nice break from Sheila, However, I hope it will not be ruined.
If Ridge "wins," it will be a humiliating, mean-spirited loss for Eric and the viewers.
Ridge ALWAYS wins. It gets old. Ridge actually challenged Thomas to a fashion duel when the kid was in COLLEGE. Ridge won (barely). The fact that it was close didn't change the fact that Ridge got to gloat over beating his young son, and it was ugly to watch.
It isn't fun to watch the arrogant wins every time,
Ridge dismissed the idea of Eric wanting desperately to have a grand finale before he fully retires....and said he wanted to "get rid of it." Wow. "I'm in charge...." says it all.
There is only one way for this story to end in an uplifting way. not with a tie. not with Eric getting dementia and admitting he is finished, so Ridge can gloat over beating sad, pathetic Eric. not with Eric and Ridge reconciling and working together, so Ridge can say he is still on top, while being kind to Dad.
Eric must win.....perhaps with a nod toward RJ for his contribution. Ridge must lose this one. Then Eric can go play pickle ball with a bounce in his step.... and he, and Donna and her twins, can ride off into the sunset.
Don’t remind me of Thorne. I have always had fondness for him and Ridge was awful to him.
DeleteI’m 100% sure Eric will give mad credit to RJ. He already is showing how much it means not only his help but that he is showing interest in the art. I am imagining the best happy end like this - Eric wins and then he brings Ridge and RJ on the stage to show how the Forrester men are all winners or sth like that.
Aw I do remember that storyline with young Thomas who also had to give up his teen bride since he lost 😅 nowadays that wouldn’t play out like this.

Absolutely about Donna. She has been loving and devoted to Eric and he loves her deeply. She really cares about what’s best for him and not trying to push him either way, only support. I don’t care who has what negative to say about her. I can see her.
