I hate the way movies and TV shows always show people drinking to cope with stress or problems. When people see that depicted so regularly, it gets ingrained in our brains. Sorry to go so serious. I guess I can't turn off my substance abuse counselor way of looking at things.
DeleteIt’s true. On this show they do it socially, not so much at work now; but to get the stress & coping. What annoys me is Steffy drinking with Finn!!!! Like wtf. He treated her in the ER when she basically OD and was having issues with substance misuse.

DeleteIn MO, I have to disagree a little Forever 36.What you are saying is true but I see social media and the messages there get more depicted into the new gens brains. How many kids now a days watch TV? They are on social media 24/7. It's information overload and they are not taught, or know how to cope with it. That also leads to alcohol, drug abuse and self harm. Big Fan, I must be missing seeing Steffy drinking with Finn.? I only noticed today how much sugar she puts in her coffee, but usually see her going for a bottle of water??
DeleteD, I have seen Steffy having the occasional glass of wine with Finn, but the writers are very lazy, they think the fans miss these things.. plus I think they have made almost everyone an substance abuser at some point.. I agree with that kids are seeing things they shouldn’t at way to young an age and they are not taught to cope with it, but rather it becomes what’s “normal”!! It’s hard to shield them from it, because it’s so accessible and everywhere.. even advertisements for innocent things are full of sex.. it’s a psychology game for advertisers, “sex sells”, even a chocolate bar or can of drink.. it’s terrible how all this technology is affecting young ones.. programs and advertisers don’t care as long they sell whatever it is they are selling or showing!!
DeleteOh I know Colly and the field you're in, you know first hand. I'm dealing with one that is right into believing all the (to me), conspiracy theories that they are exposed to everyday. And you're right. That's where the money comes in. I could go on for hrs but this isn't the right place. Hope you're doing well. Have to chat sometime soon. ❤️

DeleteYou’d think somewhere in the entire circus of police/medical field someone would have noticed the body had 10 toes. They had to wash her at some point after examining the knife wounds. Kinda required to look at the body after someone is stabbed & dies.

I would throw her out as well. That's Steffy's problem - nobody ever puts her in her place. Except for Sheila. And I'm actually looking forward to whatever else she has in store for Steffy.

but isn't a badass supposed to be lovable too as Unknown said maybe her bravado stems from a deep fear that Deacon might be right and Sheila is out there, but the words that come out of Steffy's mouth do not exactly elicit sympathy, nor even empathy for any trauma she might have suffere
And how is a husband supposed to keep loving and supporting
She has become such a turn-off, it's difficult to watch
We need to see some vulnerability, some genuine human emotions about taking a life, no matter whose life! It's as if Steffy killed Sheila (yes its self-defense) then just washed her hands and moved on like it was nothing!
I understand both sides. If i was attacked by a lunatic who has been trying to kill every one i even remotely care about i wouldn't want to hear it either that she is alife . But Steffy is gonna get the knife she put in "Sheila" right back because she has to get in EVERYBODY 'S face about it . Go ahead Steffy drama it up . ReplyDeleteHas anyone else noticed that for the past few weeks B&B is not ending the way it use. It's kind of ending abruptly in the middle of a conversation with out that usual clif hanger that would left you in suspense for tomorrow. There is no suspense at the end anymore

haha I believe the 'mints' are to blame for that. Remember how Zende said that she was so uninhibited, she must have acted like a different person. All we get to see is the same scenes, him on top of her, them kissing. She probably jumped at him and ripped his clothes off lol.
