Is that new show “Beyond the Gates” going to grab some of the actors from B&B, or is B&B being cancelled altogether? Just curious if anyone knows?
Oh and it was also funny how they had Finn make his eyes be open super wide…..like he had seen a ghost or something. I guess that was supposed to be his scared face as he anticipated Steffy’s response.

DeleteThat dialogue was so daft yesterday 🙄. Poor Steffy! I think her mind would go anywhere but that Luna is his daughter because it is such a trauma for Steffy.
Maybe Steffy will continue to put the blame for Luna on Poppy and be supportive of Finn. Honestly I don’t how one would be able to accept both a MIL and stepdaughter that tried to kill you.
Poor Finn is distraught too. I was proud of Steffy that she was completely ready to welcome an unknown adult child of her husband into their lives without batting an eyelash!
Sadly I think whatever way Steffy reacts she will be slagged off by haters.
She is in an impossible situation! You know Finn will move heaven and earth to find Luna.
Steffy isn’t going to want poor wee Hayes spending time with his murderous big sister!
So what is up with Luna completely disregarding Bill’s rules? Not to mention telling a complete stranger that she is living there etc.
Obviously she doesn’t believe Bill will send her back to prison. I think her reforming is 💯 % another manipulation. She’s going to play Finn and cry about her terrible upbringing and how she would be totally different if she’d grown up with him etc.
Finn will fall for it. I honestly don’t know if his marriage will survive this.
The Carter Daphne conversation was interesting. Looking forward to her getting Carter to come to his senses.
Oh, Finn will definitely fall for it, BBFan. He is already accusing Poppy of raising a murderer so, yeah, he will definitely take Luna's side.

Thank you, BBFAN. I do agree that it was impressive that Steffy was ready to welcome Finn’s other child into the family before she realized it was Luna. Personally, I won’t give Steffy a hard time if she chooses to leave Finn or if she chooses to stay. It’s when she treats people badly that I take issue with Steffy. In this instance with Finn, she has been dealt a huge blow. And either decision she makes will be hard on her. So there would be no reason for me to come down on her.
DeleteLuna is definitely getting out of control. Not sure if it was on this episode or Tuesday’s when she told Remy she came out of hiding when he was there because she thought “they had a lot in common.” Huh?? She knows nothing about him other than he’s supposedly there to fix the broken air conditioner. And he’s of similar age. She definitely needs to go back to prison. She doesn’t deserve to be in Bill’s mansion!
Agree, ladies. Finn will want to have a relationship with Luna and that will for sure push Steffy over the edge.

It's just not realistic. And what about Bill's manly needs and urges? I know at one time he thought she was his daughter, but now he knows she's not. 🤷♂️

But given that Luna wouldn't be able to have sex in prison (unless she decided to sleep with her female cell mate), he probably just assumes that it is going to be the same (her taking care of her needs herself), or doesn't think about it at all. Maybe he purchased a vibrator along with all the clothes he seems to have bought for her in the meantime.

ReplyDeleteFinn could have gotten the whole thing out sooner if Steffy had just let him talk. I was yelling "Steffy, shut up! Let him finish"! I was afraid he was going to back out of telling her. I hope Steffy will stay with Finn. I know this is a lot for her to accept, but she should realize this is a lot for him too. It's not like he cheated on his wife. And he's not a deadbeat father. He didn't know about the child because Poppy kept the truth from him. He cannot help how Luna turned out. Once she gets over the huge shock, Steffy should be compassionate and supportive to Finn. That's what you do with your spouse. Remember those wedding vows. "For better or for worse..." I didn't actually see their wedding, but most people include that part in their wedding. A lot of men would have agreed with Poppy, and taken the secret to the grave. I admire him for being honest. And I sympathize with him. That was some good acting by that actor today. He was showing how hard this would be to have to tell your wife something like that. 👏

ReplyDeleteI liked it. I'm not sure how long it will last. Soaps are not nearly as popular as they were 25 years ago when there were at least 3 on each of the three major networks at the same time. So Im very surprised to see a new one. I actually left work early today so one day I can say I watched the very first episode. Unfortunately I cannot do that every day. I might be able to catch the last 15 minutes every day, and the whole episode on my 1 weekday off every week. I'm kinda hooked already. It checks all the daytime drama boxes. Family, infidelity, villains, women scorned, attractive people, the beginnings of an affair: The caucasian young female with the brown hair on her first day working at the hospital. That guy was definitely flirting with her. And a bitch slap. 🥰🍿👀
