Now Carter saying the coup was because he did it all for hope?!
LIES! CARTER did it for himself because he wanted to prove to Eric and ridge that he can run FC with his ideas. It just so happened stefffy Had issues with hope ...carter saw what he saw between hope and steffy...and used that at a way to do what he did....the coup.
At this point ....writers should've left hope with Thomas. But no ....they had to let steffy in between Because " she don't want a logan with her brother "....her words.
Enough is enough!
I hope Carter sleeps with Daphne the lopsided. Give hope a reson not to take bask his ass.

DeleteShe was using Thomas and Steffy didn’t want her brother to keep getting his heart broken, or go back to obsessing over Hope.
Thomas even asked her when he was engaged to
Paris if she would marry him and she did the same song and dance as before!
Thomas decided he wasn’t giving up a life with a loving wife for someone who would never commit!
Hope has brought her relationship woes on herself.
Hope was pushing Carter as soon as he came up with the idea for the coup!

She was on a huge power trip when Carter was the Boss! She told everyone including her mum who was CEO what to do!
Carter said from the start that it was all for Hope. That he was going to get her her job back and HFTF. He said that the Forresters would pay for what they did.
DeleteIt's why both Ridge and Steffy told him that Hope was using him.
It's why Carter made the deal to keep Hope and HFTF after he gave the company back.
Its why Hope walked away from him, because he broke his promise to always have her back.
Carter's plans to change the company were secondary to getting Hope her job and line back.
And Hope did go from Liam to Thomas, then to kissing Finn, then to Carter, and now she wants to have a future with Liam again. Daphne wasn't totally wrong.
DeleteIf you go further back Hope gave Liam ultimatums and when he didn’t give her what she wanted, she married his brother Wyatt. Hope has a veryyyyyy long history of going man to man to find her current champion!
DeleteI can see Hope walking in on Carter and Daphne in bed together. To be fair she broke up and refused to reconcile so he’s entitled to date whoever he wants!
ReplyDeleteExcept... Carter doesn't want to date Daphne. Also, Carter kept professing over and over that he was not giving up on his relationship with Hope. If Hope walks in on him and Daphne, she has every right to cut him off for good.
DeleteIt's like I said yesterday, Carter has gone the way of Ridge and Liam. Run to the next available woman when things don't go the way he wants. It is probably why he kept the door open for Daphne. If Carter sleeps with her, it is 100% his fault if Hope walks away for good.
Daphne was the one who insisted she go with Carter after he said he had to leave. He didn’t invite her along. At this point she is like gum on the bottom of his shoe!!!
DeleteShe should be painfully aware that if they sleep together, Carter is doing it to be comforted only, not because he actually cares about Daphne in that way. She continues to look more and more pathetic each episode.
And once Carter gets told the circumstances of why Hope was saying those things to Liam, I think he will be more understanding of what he overheard.
At this point, I don’t think Hope would have any right to be mad at Carter if he’s in bed with Daphne when she gets there. She told him she was not ready to forgive him or get back together. So he can do what he wants. But regardless, Daphne will only be a REBOUND! She comes across as so incredibly desperate and such an opportunist!! I just can’t stand her character on the show.
The end of the day, if Carter really truly loves and is committed to Hope, he doesn’t jump into bed with Daphne to soothe his ego or whatever it is he’s doing.

With the exception of Thomas, Hope has loads of experience with men doing just that. She breaks up, refuses to forgive, they move on , and she just has to have them back. It’s her pattern since she was a teenager!
I don’t think Liam should push her to be with Carter if she doesn’t feel it’s for her!
Wee Beth doesn’t need a parade of daddies like Hope had growing up.
Plus once Liam gets his miracle cure , he may decide he wants Hope back and she will be in an eternal loop.
Hope is better standing on her own without a man and learning who she is . Then finding someone who is all about her like Steffy did with Finn!

DeleteRegarding Daphne, I've always said that she should let Carter come to her instead of running after him the way she has. As Lynn said, Daphne said she was coming with Carter (out of concern for his emotional state) BUT Carter could have said no. He's giving Daphne mixed signals so it's no wonder she'll keep pushing.
Based on spoilers for next week though, it seems Carter and Hope may reunite.
Uh BBFAN, I think Carter has shown time and time again how much he deeply cares for Hope. There is absolutely no question there. He has also told Daphne how much he cares for Hope multiple times. And he certainly didn’t run to Daphne’s open arms (and legs) like Ridge did with Taylor. And that’s because Carter is committed to the idea of he and Hope being together.

He'll jump into bed to sooth his sorrows, like every male on this show. It's the drama that keeps us interested. 🤔
As someone said above, they all need to figure out who they are, then work on a relationship.
There are more 🐍🐍's on this show than just Daphne.
D, I don't know why Daphne is getting all this hate when Carter isn't putting any boundaries between them. He stands there and allows Daphne to bad-mouth Hope, just like he allows Daphne into his personal space time and time again.

Exactly Elle. All the men on this show allow women in their personal space, and say the same words. Ridge is the same with Brooke. She gets within inches of his face, tells him how much they love and belong together, he doesn't push her away but says his heart is with Taylor.

D - my point is that Carter absolutely loves Hope. He loved Quinn too. I think he and Katie were heading in that direction, but they never really got there. He was broken by Quinn (I couldn’t stand her as a FYI), and now he’s broken by Hope. Like he stated, he’s been unlucky in love. But that doesn’t make his words or feeling “fake” as implied.
DeleteI' not saying his feelings are "fake" towards Hope. I just think, "he thinks", he is in love with Hope. Sometimes words mean nothing. We'll see just how committed he is to Hope. If he sleeps with Daphne now, then he's not truly in love. He should ask her to leave.
DeleteHe should ask her to leave. But he is feeling very hurt right now. And people do rash things when they are feeling hurt. Whether he sleeps with Daphne or not does not determine whether he’s still in love with Hope. After all, they aren’t in a committed relationship right now. So he’s a free agent. But regardless, he chooses Hope and Daphne would simply be a rebound. Given how over the top cocky Daphne is, I can’t imagine her wanting to settle for rebound status.

There has to be a reason, he's been unlucky in love. Imo, if he truly loves Hope he would ask Daphne to leave and tell her, he needs time to think about what he heard, and hear Hope's side of the story.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering about that as well. Toy knowledge, Liam has never once seen Hope and Carter together, or talked to Carter about Hope. So how does lq know that Carter is so in love with Hope and that they belong together? I never saw any real chemistry between Carter and Hope, and it seems to me that they were just together out of loneliness and convenience. I've never believed for one minute that they were actually in love with each other.

ReplyDeleteAs far as Hope and Carter? I haven't seen any chemistry from the beginning. They have worked together for years. There was no flirtation, or any sign of interest in each other until Carter wanted to be in power over the Forresters. Then Hope was interested in him and saw an opportunity.
