DeleteFirst off - the Hope and Carter scenes were filler and nothing more. And yes, they were pretty boring.
There were so many people getting shot, it was almost comical.
Except for Liam….what great acting by Scott Clifton!! Bravo!!!
I hope Liam doesn’t die! And hopefully Liam is the one Li is trying desperately to save, and NOT Luna! But honestly, it could go either way.
I love how Liam shot Luna! Perfect!! And it actually was in self-defense because she reached for the gun in his hand.
And I loved how Steffy was trying to take care of Sheila and then Sheila knocked the box to the ground to distract Luna. Sheila was ALL IN on saving Steffy. And this will absolutely be Sheila’s redemption.
I did notice that Finn started to go towards Luna to help her. But then he turned around and helped Liam. But his initial instinct was to help Luna. Hmmmm 🤔🤔🤔
Finn continues to bug me, he just seems kind of dense.
How does this give Steffy an exit for her maternity leave???

DeleteLynn, I liked seeing Steffy trying to help Sheila. First when she tried to call 911, it was a deja vu moment for me remembering when she tried to call 911 for Finn but Sheila refused to let her get help for her own son. This time, Sheila was the one needing help but her own granddaughter refused to allow it.
Second, when Steffy was trying to get something to cover Sheila's wound to stop the bleeding and Luna again refused. You know I like observing the parallels but this time, it was a full circle moment for Sheila. I hope Sheila acknowledges it in some way and offers a genuine apology for trying to kill Steffy all those years ago.
Regarding Li, I only feel like she's going to try to save Luna because of how she kept defending her during her talk with Finn. Li is so incensed over Poppy that she might even help Luna escape out of sympathy for her and hate for her sister. We all know that Li does not care about breaking the rules, whether it's the medical profession code (the name is escaping me right now) or the law.
Hippocratic oath, that's what I was trying to remember.

Yes, it's always someone else's fault. First, Poppy, then Steffy. I even heard her say to Sheila when Sheila first showed up at the beach house "not you too, grandma." Seems everyone else is to blame while her criminal actions had absolutely nothing to do with it.

D, I don't like Luna one bit. I want her gone! I can admit though that the actress is super good. So is the actress who plays Poppy.
DeleteIt was being said that Luna goes on the run however, she was shot. So, it's either that "spoiler" was wrong and Luna dies, making way for her exit from the show or, she is going to stick around for a while in recovery then go on the run after.
Elle Luna and Sheila are only ones that bring some excitement to the show. 😈

The last five minutes was good. I was waiting for Luna to shoot herself accidentally.

I hope Liam’s tumour miraculously becomes operable too.
I was proud of Steffy she was kind to Sheila and even had empathy for Luna not knowing her father.
Good on her for being honest with Luna regarding her culpability for her actions.

I also believe that Sheila has truly changed.

Delete2 of my predictions came through, well kinda. Sheila getting redeemed from this, hopefully, and Liam showing up being shot too. But I thought he was gonna get shot in the head, not the chest. However, I hope they spin it to something like that the mass on his brain loosened up still, because of the bloodloss he will suffer from this. And let him stay on the show. And Luna, if she doesn't die, she will go to prison or an asylum for a long time.

DeleteWow 3 different people shot. This may be Sheila's redemption. I know they took minutes away with the Hope & Carter scenes. I believe they were showing us the other love of a woman in Liam's life for such a dramatic event. Steffy already there, but they had to put Hope in for the perspective of Liam's life itself. The ER coming attractions must be for Liam. Luna doesn't look like she's going to make it and Sheila is a cat with 9lives landing on her feet that are battlescar feet even more so now.

ReplyDeleteI think the only reason they had the boring scenes with Hope and Carter was to show that Hope still loves Liam not Carter. Wonder how Bill is going to take Luna shooting his son. This would have never happened if he didn’t get her out of prison.
ReplyDeleteI only looked at the first scene of Carter and Hope when she was talking to Liam on the phone then Carter walked in and hugged her. I fastforwarded the rest however, just in that first scene alone, the thought crossed my mind about whether Hope still loves Liam.
DeleteBack when she accepted Carter's proposal, I did not think that she accepted for the right reasons as I remember her pleading with Liam for them to be together until the end (when Carter overheard). After the engagement, we haven't seen much of Carter and Hope as a couple so I haven't thought about it much. This scene though makes me once again think that Hope may not love Carter (or is in love with him) the way she says she is. She is spending A LOT of time with Liam.
