I loved how Thomas talked to Douglas today. He created a safe environment for Douglas to share what he saw. Thomas also creatively worked in the part about Santa having helpers. That seemed to allow Douglas' mind to remember more instead of having to repeatedly defend what he witnessed. Thomas reassured Douglas that all was okay with the hug after Douglas identified "Santa". Well done, Thomas! Taylor will be proud. Steffy will be celebrating!
"I don't get it", I agree Thomas has done a lot in the past to be labeled an unfit parent. I just think he handled the situation well today. That does not erase all of his past screw-ups.
We agree that Thomas in his dark period was not fit to be a good father. But don't forget that ever since he found out about Douglas that he was the father, he has consistently made Douglas his priority. Who let down the one he loved "Sally" to take care of his son and Caroline who accepted the lies of his fake illness that Bill started. Brooke has never been the mother, grandmother and mother-in-law of the year. used her children for men, used Douglas to hide her secrets and have a visible hatred with the children of her ex-husband or current husband "Ridge"
shoot im celebrating how thomas handled his son and got the truth out of him. yeah thomas did some bad things to his son in the past but there was reason for it. he was actually sick and didnt even realize himself what harm he was causing but he has gotten help he needed and since then has been a great dad.. brook hope and loam trying to silence him now from telling what he seen and knows is exactly same kind of shitty child abuse in order to try to cover brooks ass with ridge its not right
Well we definitely have to feel bad for Douglas. We all knew the truth was going to come out sooner or later. Steffy and Taylor will be in their glory. Then we will have to see Brooke and Ridge have problems. I just hope it gets worked out. Steffy was a joke saying that Ridge' s life would have been better if he stayed with Taylor. Is she psychic? She doesn't know if that would have been the way it was. I'm just getting so sick of her and the way she's acting. And believe it or not I don't think Sheila knows exactly what happened between Deacon and Brooke. She might have heard the part about the drinking but I think she's fishing for information and knowing Deacon he'll think she knows everything and will tell her or say something about it. But we can all see that she was having a hard time hearing things. And I'm sorry but Carter is getting sickening. He can't stop thinking about Paris either oh, give me a break. You think he would wise up. This is the second time he's gotten involved with somebody that was with somebody else. He isn't even thinking that Zende isn't going to be too happy when he finds out about it. After all him and Zende are friends. Seems like he's too quick to think about himself and forget about other people. The only thing I can say about Paris is I don't like her at all.

She wasn't saying that when Liam and Steffy kissed outside the cliff house. So for Brooke, it's different, it's normal and it's nothing bad. It's not surprising, always, I don't do anything wrong, I'm the victim and the others who lie. Hope has never been the poor innocent that she makes believe even before. She always blames others for her own choices and actions. Hope, who cut short, has a moment between father and son so that no secret is revealed. And at one time, she blamed Thomas for keeping a secret and being away from her child. Oh, it's not the same, is it. Liam, the little pooch, who blamed Thomas for a secret. reproduces the same thing and lets a child be manipulated emotionally and mentally, telling him that it is not at new years but at christmas the kisses and agrees that Douglas does not talk about it anymore. I was shocked when Hope and Liam allowed Brooke to brainwash Douglas so it's nice to him in a healthy environment with his dad. Maybe after all of this Thomas will finally think about taking his son back and allow him to visit his mommy Hope when the kid wants to. And it should've that way from the beginning!
That’s not true unknown, they did show him seeing Deacon’s face when he “thought really hard” as he calls it. It shows the difference where before he saw Santa’s hat and stopped there. Especially since Liam, Hope and Brooke tried to convince him he saw it on Christmas etc. His daddy listening to and supporting him, encouraging him to think about what he actually saw on New Years allowed his mind to remember what he actually saw!! They did show Douglas seeing Deacon’s face at the very end of this episode and the beginning of the next one!
