ReplyDeleteI think this storyline is very difficult for JMW. She has been on the show since she was a very young girl and has practically grown up with John McCook.
I agree Elle, there’s a lot of real emotion coming from her.. you can see it clearly.. she is struggling with it for sure!! I don’t think it will b the same for any of them with him gone.. he is probably the most integral character of the show.. it is pretty much based around him and his journey in the fashion industry.. and he and Brooke are the only original characters left on the show from its first start..

Milla, so true. The script continues to be an embarrassment. But I was impressed with Eric’s authenticity at the end of today’s episode. His fainting spell, tears and fear seemed genuine.

I laughed when Steffy said…..”We’ll have a party that he will never forget!” I think it would have been more appropriate to say…..”We’ll have a party for Eric that we’ll never forget!” Eric is gonna be 6 feet under soon enough. So he won’t be remembering much of anything in the near term.
Milla , the writers certainly are not earning that pay rise they got when they went on strike!! That’s for sure.. it’s getting worse!!

I would rather Quinn than "Barbie" wannabe Donna. I always wondered why she was woven back into the script in favour of Quinn. It's cosier with the three Logan sisters. I could tolerate Brooke and Katie. But Donna?

Because Quinn was his intellectual equal. They both had creative minds and were able to create together. Eric fell to the floor and she just stands there with her hands covering her mouth. That was pretty dumb. She didn't rush to his side, she just stood there.

I don’t think that we should assume Donna is stupid. The fact that they have made her character this sweet, supportive, caring individual….doesn’t automatically equate to zero brains. Of course she’s beautiful, and there are tons of very beautiful women who are also very intelligent. Quinn was extremely manipulative and vengeful. She wasn’t a nice person! Who would want to be married to that??? There are a lot more important qualities to consider when marrying someone than how “creative” they are. That’s what business partners are for!!
DeleteAnd as far as the last scene….that was Donna’s initial reaction to her being in shock that Eric passed out. She will of course run to his side and call 911 on Monday. They always end the Friday episodes in a way to make you think one thing when it is really another. Nothing new here.

DeleteMilla, 😘. I gotta say….a couple of years ago I was not particularly impressed with Donna on the show. But ever since she has become Eric’s love again, I’m really liking her. She has had many shining moments in the last months episodes. And I think it’s great they have given her so much air time. She is perfect for Eric and just what he needs.
DeleteLynn me neither. Donna has never been a particularly interesting character in the past. She used to have more storylines in the early 2010s but not recently. But she adores Eric and is good for him. She brings peace and fun to his life. At his age and state of life, he would gladly trade "creativity" for the peace of not sleeping with a homicidal woman. And yes Donna has proven in this most trying time of his life that she's a true partner.

ReplyDeleteLike seriously what will a house call from the specialist do; I’m personally not aware what it can do other than he will recommend that Eric be transported to the hospital.
911 can provide pre-hospital emergency care (to whatever extent that is appropriate based on whatever the diagnosis is for Eric).
Now if Finn is the ER doctor I will honestly laugh. There has to be more than 1 doctor in that entire hospital.
As well it is rather a conflict of interest having a patient that is a relative. So that wipes out Bridget as well.
Well if she doesn't call 911, she'll be guilty of committing a felony, according to some. 😂 😂

ReplyDeleteEric and Donna should have a surprise wedding at the party. That would be great. I'm disappointed that they haven't told Zende about Eric. Zende will dislike RJ and that's not fair. Hopefully they'll tell him soon. And the other children too. They'll come soon and we'll get something new to the show. This has began to be boring.
