This question that some have. Did you hear Hope's dialogue with Brooke on the night of the accident. Thomas and Douglas were at the movies and then at Thomas' house all evening for their father-son night. It was Hope who confirmed this in front of Brooke and then in front of Liam who had asked the question. Lieutenant Baker had to do his work on the alibis of people who had a problem with Vinny. and then, thomas probably guessed why Liam said to thomas. I understand the fact that you acted badly in relation to what happened between us and you thought you were doing what was right
I said from the beginning Thomas is involved. IMO vinnie was instructed by Thomas to change the results, Vinnie had to go before he spilled the beans. When Liam hit him he was already dead. IMO! We shall see!
Gracee, if Thomas was involved why did Vinnie try so hard to keep the results from him? If you saw the episodes leading up to the reveal, you would've seen Thomas piecing everything together and constantly pressing Vinnie about the test results, and keep in mind they were alone most of the time.
I truly hope Thomas has changed for the better. But we have to remember, Thomas has been very calculating, even before he had his brain injury, from time to time throughout the years.
So here it comes, a wild stretch, but I can totally see the storyline spinning in this direction, IF the producers want:
So, what if Thomas made sure to have an alibi for that night. Nothing as perfect as a movie night with his son, right? People would have seen him at the movies with Douglas, and Hope also told Brooke about them being at the movies together. Thomas has a lot of money, he could have payed someone to get rid of Vinny, for hurting Hope. Because the way he talks about Vinny in front of Liam, and the way he was speaking to Bill, seems like he knows who was the person behind the hit and run. He might not know it was Liam, he might think it was Bill, since Bill usually never let anyone drive his car. Or, the person who was really responsible for pushing or messing Vinnie up prior to the 'accident', might have told Thomas about who was actually driving the car. It was a dark road, and someone could easily hide in the bushes and watch what happened after Liam hit Vinnie.
I mean, Brooke is normally right in her suspicions, even if she is dodgy herself, and the way she still doesn't trust Thomas, even when his behaviour has been on the right side of late, tells me there is more to this story.

Liam should have gone back or called emergency services and never should have lied to police, ever! Bill as always thinks he can buy his way out of any situation.
Brooke will find a way to twist this into being Thomas’ fault.

Ok so Bill was telling Thomas what an evil person he was with liam n Hopey but once again a Forrester isnt allowed to speak back Bill ruined liams life with Steffy he obssessed and stalked a pregnant woman but thats ok because Steffy isnt a logan I thought i was watching the Hope show today where all fawned over her even Steffys dad yet no where was wrote for Ridge to defend Steam and his daughter. Vinny was staggering when Liam hit him. He had been hurt way before Liam and Bill came along. Whether someone pushed Vinny into the on coming car or he was trying to stop the car for help, it will all come out, eventually. I just hope the writers do not drag this story line out until it is beyond unbearable. Someone else is responsible for Vinny being where he was on that road that led to Liam running him over.
I know this will get the Thomas fans riled up, but I hope Thomas is the one responsible for Vinny, because I can just bet the writers are going to put Hope and Thomas back together. I am actually a Liam and Hope fan, what few there is of us. I think they make a good couple. I just cannot begin to like the Thomas character. I'm sorry to his fans, but I've tried really hard to like Thomas, but I just can't.
Bill is doing the same thing any parent would do by protecting his son. It was a complete accident and NO, it would not nor will not be perceived as one by anyone due to what Vinny done to the families of Steph, Liam and Finn. I would fight for my kids until the end even if I don't have the money like these people do on a fictional show and some in real life. If my child, regardless of their age, is innocent, by golly I will fight a lion to my death.
You're entitled to your opinion but this is a soap. Liam and Hope will not remain together forever. And even if they put Thomas and Hope together, they won't remain together forever either. However, you're right. The show will most likely explore Thomas and Hope because they have a growing fanbase. And I'm pretty sure they will make an amazing couple because Thomas is 100% devoted to Hope, unlike Liam who continues to cheat, lie and keep secrets from the woman he says he loves.
There he is hemming and hawing... "they're going to come for me. They're going to take me away from you and the kids..... FOREVA!!!" Geez Liam, get a grip already.

This isn’t ‘Murder She Wrote,’ it’s a silly soap opera filmed about a month ahead of when it airs. The writers don’t read this. I hope they will wrap up this Vinny murder storyline quickly. After all of Liam’s despair, wait till he finds out that Finn did it.
