What the heck are the lawyers doing for Bill and Liam? They should have been arraigned by now and posted bail unless the judge denies it. They need separate lawyers so that Liam’s can blame Bill for the hit and run otherwise, it’s a conflict of interest. Justin was mentioned by other commenters that he was their attorney but he is just a business executive and the real killer of Vinny.
Somehow Justin got his Juris Doctor after a career-ending basketball injury with five surgeries and barely being able to walk. Online courses? LOL. Poetic license as Bill hired Justin as his right-hand man and trained him. Bill eventually promoted Justin to Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. If anything, Justin would be a corporate lawyer when Bill and Liam each need a criminal attorney. As Bill and Liam’s counsel, Justin will be privy to all the legal proceedings which will help to conceal his murder of Vinny only until Thomas attempts to come forward with proof. Then we will finally have something more interesting to watch - at least momentarily.
So good to see Steffy step into action mode. Justin is not working fast enough? Ok, so let's get another lawyer. This is such a far cry from taking pictures and drawings for Liam.

Nice to see Steffy again. Thomas's hair is too long, he needs to get it cut-- and Wyatt needs to let his grow out a bit more. When are we going to see Bill getting visitors in jail? Everybody's coming to see Liam, did they all forget Bill is behind bars too?

Liam is a completely different person with Steffy. You know what stuck out to me in the scene with him and Steffy? As soon as he saw her, his demeanour changed. He was all about doing whatever it took to get out of prison. However, with Hope, he is talking about "being realistic", that he can be locked up for a long time and he wants Thomas to be there for her and the kids. I just could not help but notice that.
Actually I was referencing the fact that Ridge respects boundaries with his children. He doesn’t try stick his nose in the intimate details of their sex love or demand they stay with whoever.. he loves and supports them and allows them to make their own decisions. Brooke is totally controlling and far too interested in her daughter’s sex life and marriage.
Not to mention, she encourages Hope to go after a married Liam and sleeps with her own daughters' husbands. What a fine role model. Ridge is so much better in the way he supports and is there for his kids. He understands that they are grown individuals, and while he will provide guidance, he does not tell them what to do or how to do it.
These characters have worse morals than Alley cats. The only one I would even consider having is a friend would be Finn. And I'm sure his reputation will be ruined soon, too. He's probably the one who threw Vinny out into the road in front of Liam. These people have no boundaries, they are vulgar, elitist, and just horrible people. All of them but Finn... for now.
This is a soap opera they are supposed to do what they’re doing. They are characters not real people in real life. If you don’t like what they are doing this probably isn’t a good genre for you to watch.
Gaia33 is correct. How thoughtful to consider if any are worthy of your friendship. It made me wonder of all the soap operas and which characters I would choose as friends. I think I would pass on all of them. They are best left for entertainment purposes only. That’s why I skip those scripted ‘Housewife’ shows, too. The same things you described can be said about them and other personalities in the media. A lot of those folks don’t appear happy at all and their lives are like soap operas.

Did anyone else notice Hope’s inability to face reality? She whinges and insists that her fantasy life will exist because she wants it to. She’s so clueless and self absorbed. We will just convince them it isn’t Liam’s fault and he’ll come home like nothing happened and live a perfect dream life… it’s not fair.. blah blah blah. He still killed someone with his car, even accidentally it’s still vehicular manslaughter and carries prison time!
Hope refuses to believe that her husband can be a cruel and heartless person. She reserves those sentiments for the likes of Bill, Steffy, Thomas and anyone else who is not "perfect", according to her. It's no wonder she keeps going back to the man who continually lies to and cheats on her and keeps swearing that he would never do it again. That's until he does it again. Hope is hopeless. Let her continue to live in her dream world. She has low self esteem and thinks that Liam's treatment of her is what she deserves. Ha!
Hope has always blamed Steffy and Bill for Liam’s bad behaviour, for his cheating, lying etc. Her denial is childish. She said she can’t believe that anything will happen other than what she wants because she can’t handle life. Her mum spoiled and shielded and fixed everything for her so she never had to.
Time to put your big girl knickers on and be a woman Hopeless. Beth needs a mum who is thinking of her instead of being so self centred. I love how Hope says she’s thinking of the bairns but actually it’s all about her and what she wants, needs, deserves, etc. Brooke isn’t helping by giving Hopeless boring talks that are all unicorns and rainbows! Brooke is the one obsessed with keeping Hopless and Liam together so she be close to Bill. I love how defends him endlessly.
That chat with Ridge was very, “I hate your son, born from you and your wife, who will never be good enough for my illegitimate daughter born of my son in law. Logans are too superior blah blah”. Brooke is so mean spirited and spiteful. I knew she was just manipulating Ridge from thinking about her three visits to Bill in the same day when she pretended she might possibly see Thomas in a different light. All lies to keep Ridge off the scent. I think Brooke will battle to get Bill out and we will see those two back in bed together soon.
Steffy, come on! When have you, in all the time you've known him, watched Liam do anything heroic? I wish she'd stop defending Liam and see him for the weak man he truly is. Same goes for Hope. Liam isn't a hero.

Liam changes with whoever he talks to. With Brooke, Bill and Hopeless he’s like a whipped dog, bowing and scraping to their whims. With Steffy he is confident etc trying to play the big man for her. With Wyatt he’s a jealous sibling who has to put his younger brother in his place. When he’s alone he’s a scared wee lad looking for his mum.
