Already that Hope is very easily influenced and manipulated in the past, it is becoming very obvious now. Hope is her mother's puppet. she says what to do, what to say, what to think, who Hope should be married to, who she should sleep with. Brooke if you hadn't pushed for that goddamn adoption of Douglas, and your daughter wouldn't have followed you, you wouldn't have to worry about Thomas. yes, thomas is partly responsible, but those that we pushed with the papers, it is hope and Brooke. Lope, that was boring, it's just crying and boo ho ho. Hope frankly she should move out and be independent, that girl, when does she wake up

It's not that difficult. Bill and Liam would have been at Brooke's for a while. Vinny could have been spying on them since he had a plan. He would also have seen Bill drinking and would figure that Liam would drive them home.

Liam and Hope are boring! They have a childish relationship like two children playing house. The “romance “ between them is forced and like a school girl fantasy of what love and life is. Hope wants everything perfect and she literally refuses to accept a reality that doesn’t line up with her dream world. Brooke is the ultimate hypocrite. She’s hurt and ruined so many lives and done far worse than Thomas ever dreamed of doing. She was always forgiven even though she’s never remorseful. She thinks she has a right to do anything she wants, yet cannot treat Thomas like a human being ! Hope slept with Liam and got pregnant while he was married and actively broke up his marriage etc. It’s hypocritical!! Liam told Steffy how much he was in love with her then tells Hope he only loves her two minutes later.
At the end of the day they are not this perfect sweet lovely couple that is a fantasy made up by Brooke and Hope.
We don’t have to like them as a couple or the way the characters behave.
Even TK who plays Ridge is sick of being a prop for Brooke who is all about sex. He wants more for his character. That obsession of Brooke’s for nearly four decades is long past it’s life. Time for some new blood and for Ridge to be with a woman who actually cares about him for a change! Brooke is all about controlling everything and everyone to meet her ideal of life.

Brooke can't help herself. I believe her major motivator is not wanting Hope to fall for Thomas. I also think that, sub-consciously, she is afraid that Hope will indeed fall for Thomas because she knows her daughter well and knows what Hope wants for her life. Brooke is seeing Thomas slowly becoming the type of man that Hope is attracted to and is afraid of what this might mean if he and Hope become close. So I don't think she is trying to be mean to Thomas. I think she just does not want Hope to fall for him.
I would even go so far as to say that she, herself, is probably starting to fall for Thomas and wants him for herself. But that's a different episode, a different day. Lol.
