You are so right @BBfan101 it's very repetitive. I was watching a few old episodes, and the storylines effortlessly flowed from one thing to another, and they didn't hold on to the same thing over and over again. Now, it is like watching the same episode over a week. then again the following week. Someone called it, i think they are trying to kill the show or something because something is off.
I feel sorry for the cast, they must hate coming to work just now. Oh well at least they don’t have to memorise new dialogue lol. Even Liam got to repeat pretty much verbatim what he said to Brooke and Hope 😂. Bill did provide a wee bit of comedy today but please throw us a bone here Bell.
Just going to express some personal opinions on hair today, so nobody freak out lol. Steffy's hair looks terrible like that. I didn't like Paris' either. I hate the goofy giant knot on top of the head look. Nobody looks good with their hair that way. Taylor's hair looked sloppy today too. Hope's looked plain Jane. Actually, Brooke was the only woman whose hair looked good today

Nobody on Brooke's behalf is coercing Ridge because he has moved back in with her. Prior to that however, Brooke was in full coercion mode! At the hospital when Steffy was there. At Eric's when Ridge was there. At Taylor's office telling her to stay away. She even wanted Eric to convince Ridge to return to her. Ridge told her that he needed time to think and she purposely did all manner of things to try to influence him. Now that Ridge has moved back in, she does not have to.

I agree about Liam. He is going on and on about not being invited in order to justify his claim that Thomas is obsessed with Hope. The fact is that noone has not NOT invited him. It's ironic that Steffy says she's carrying on Stephanie's legacy when at the end of her life she made peace with Brooke, she wanted her by her side, even Taylor was jealous that she chose Brooke over her. I guess Steffy (and the writers) forgot that very significant shift in Stephanie/Brooke relationship. The recycled storyline is painful to watch, especially when you're mentioning Stephanie.

Steffy knows how her grandmother felt about Brooke for many many many years. The fact that Stephanie came around at the end does not matter to Steffy. She is acknowledging that her grandmother had been right about Brooke for a very long time and so, she has decided to take up that mantle.
Brooke continues to use Finn coming back to life as an excuse for why her husband wants to spend so much time with his family. I guess it's easier for her to think that way because acknowledging that her husband is quite happy spending so much time with Taylor and his kids does not fit her ideal of her being Ridge's destiny.
She blames Steffy for being responsible for Ridge not coming home on time yet fails to look at the fact that her husband not only came home late but left early without even waking her! What husband who adores and loves his wife does that? Ridge slid into bed next to her and just turned his back and went to sleep? I watched it twice. It was a pic of Ridge on Ridge’s phone when the call was coming through from Brooke. Admittedly, I watch the show on my little iPhone. So maybe Brooke was in the pic on the caller ID as well. But all I saw was Ridge. Too funny!

@M I cannot recall hearing Steffy or anyone else bantering around the Forrester name before. It is being explicitly stated now because of this new Forrester vs Logan storyline. I have heard Hope, Liam and Brooke talk about the Forrester vs Logan war as well so, it is not so much that they are just going around being proud to be Forresters. It is pretty specific to what is happening on the show right now and is aimed at highlighting the divide. And I am certain that when this particular storyline is over, you will not hear it again.
It's still funny though that a lot of people here are very bothered by it.
First of all I don't think Brooke and her sisters ever cry Logan in that same way, and second and more important - it is, you know, actually their name 🤣 they say in the sense that they stand up for each other and support each other, not in the way Steffy uses Forrester it to "mark her territory", exclude everyone else and oppose Forresters to Logans. Hope, otoh, I am not sure what she thought she could accomplish by talking to Steffy since it was just 2 days ago that she spoke to her and it got her nowhere. I understand Hope being concerned for her mom but she needs to stay out of it. She can be there for her mom to listen and to offer a shoulder to cry on even, but to go out of her way to stand up for her mom against Steffy is a bit odd, to me. If Hope wants to talk to someone, it should be Ridge to find out what is going on with him and why he is being so disrespectful to his wife.
Everyone wants to blame Taylor, Steffy and Thomas but they are not looking at the fact that Ridge is going along with everything that Steffy and Thomas are saying. He would tell them that Brooke is his wife but then, rather than go home to said wife, he prefers to go over and spend time with his family. Then, he would tell Brooke that this is where he belongs (with her) but then barely spends time with her, doesn't call her to say he would be home late and comes home late then leaves early in the morning without any communication to his wife whatsoever. Actions speak louder than words and Brooke just needs to look at Ridge's actions and have a serious conversation with him about it instead of blaming Taylor, Steffy and Thomas or trying to have romantic dinners to remind Ridge of their love.
I think everyone sees that Ridge is a dog and I haven't seen one supporter of Brooke's who hasn't urged her to dump the loser for disrespecting her and being so hypocritical. Nobody should care what Ridge wants, he's NOT the prize or the prince or whatever. The hate towards Steffy is due to her entitled, bratty, repetitive approach, not so much the goal itself that she wants Taylor and Ridge together.
@M My post was in reference to Brooke not addressing the true culprit (Ridge) in this current saga. She is instead blaming Steffy and Taylor and it is not simply because of Steffy's arrogant stance against her. She has said time and time again that they are out to break up their marriage.

Why does Ridge have a caller ID pic of himself on his phone when Brooke calls?? Seems like an oops on the producer’s end. But exactly what I would expect of Ridge since he clearly thinks he is sooooooooo awesome!!! Lol.

I love how she tells Hope that Ridge “CHOSE” to stay at the Forrester family get-together (which is literally a nightly occurrence these days), but she neglects to tell Hope how the conversation really went down. That she hung up on Brooke after refusing to let her talk to Ridge. So Ridge didn’t even know Brooke had called.
Brooke is handling things so incredibly calmly!! And actually Taylor for once seemed put off by Steffy’s behavior. Good job Taylor.
Steffy is due a huge comeuppance!!! I seriously hope she gets it!!! Steffy is just as slimy as Thomas used to be….totally dishonest!!

If they're not in a relationship, they can't be happy. They must bend over backwards and sacrifice to keep their man, they should look the other way while the man does whatever he wants. It's demeaning. And ridge is not even worth all this!

@M I cannot recall hearing Steffy or anyone else bantering around the Forrester name before. It is being explicitly stated now because of this new Forrester vs Logan storyline. I have heard Hope, Liam and Brooke talk about the Forrester vs Logan war as well so, it is not so much that they are just going around being proud to be Forresters. It is pretty specific to what is happening on the show right now and is aimed at highlighting the divide. And I am certain that when this particular storyline is over, you will not hear it again.

First of all I don't think Brooke and her sisters ever cry Logan in that same way, and second and more important - it is, you know, actually their name 🤣 they say in the sense that they stand up for each other and support each other, not in the way Steffy uses Forrester it to "mark her territory", exclude everyone else and oppose Forresters to Logans. The Forrester money nobody cares about - Brooke has made more than enough money working at the company and creating the best business they have seen.

DeleteHope, otoh, I am not sure what she thought she could accomplish by talking to Steffy since it was just 2 days ago that she spoke to her and it got her nowhere. I understand Hope being concerned for her mom but she needs to stay out of it. She can be there for her mom to listen and to offer a shoulder to cry on even, but to go out of her way to stand up for her mom against Steffy is a bit odd, to me. If Hope wants to talk to someone, it should be Ridge to find out what is going on with him and why he is being so disrespectful to his wife.
Everyone wants to blame Taylor, Steffy and Thomas but they are not looking at the fact that Ridge is going along with everything that Steffy and Thomas are saying. He would tell them that Brooke is his wife but then, rather than go home to said wife, he prefers to go over and spend time with his family. Then, he would tell Brooke that this is where he belongs (with her) but then barely spends time with her, doesn't call her to say he would be home late and comes home late then leaves early in the morning without any communication to his wife whatsoever. Actions speak louder than words and Brooke just needs to look at Ridge's actions and have a serious conversation with him about it instead of blaming Taylor, Steffy and Thomas or trying to have romantic dinners to remind Ridge of their love.
I think everyone sees that Ridge is a dog and I haven't seen one supporter of Brooke's who hasn't urged her to dump the loser for disrespecting her and being so hypocritical. Nobody should care what Ridge wants, he's NOT the prize or the prince or whatever. The hate towards Steffy is due to her entitled, bratty, repetitive approach, not so much the goal itself that she wants Taylor and Ridge together.
Delete@M My post was in reference to Brooke not addressing the true culprit (Ridge) in this current saga. She is instead blaming Steffy and Taylor and it is not simply because of Steffy's arrogant stance against her. She has said time and time again that they are out to break up their marriage.
