Poor Eric. It's looking like it might be a little more than cerebrovascular disease if he's coughing up blood. He just might not get to fish his line. Donna's talk with him was very heartfelt, I just wish she wouldn't call him honeybear. I cringe everytime I hear her call him that.

DeleteI’m thinking not. Seems like his Dr. was using differential diagnoses of neurological in nature (so he said in the fast scene we saw).
DeleteThe coughing up blood and other symptoms seem to be possibly pointing to lung issues. Dare I guess lung cancer. Not good. No good outcome from this.
However it is a soap so anything is possible; Donna could come in and give him the Heimlich maneuver and he’d be cured lol
I agree too. The doc was a little all over the map to say it could be neurological in nature or not, more tests need to be done but the coughing up blood? That's a different story, and even though I said Donna's conversation was heartfelt I'm still not convinced it is truthful, or she's just a good damn actor (liar). We will see when it all plays out if she truly loves Eric or just the $$$ value that comes with Eric is her real love.

ReplyDeleteOh Donna, what can I say except, karma is a big old B! Now you know how Quinn felt when Eric kept the secret about his ED from her and she was practically begging him to open up to her about their lack of intimacy. Just you wait. Eric will be pawning you off on some young, hot stud pretty soon. It can't be Carter though, since Katie is already involved with him.
ReplyDeleteI will say though that I am happy that Donna is now realizing that Eric is not thinking straight where this competition (she said 'game') is concerned. His cognitive acuity is getting worse by the day as he now has visions of kicking out his son and grand-daughter from FC so that he can run it himself. All with a smile on his face.

ReplyDeleteDonna is amazing. She and Eric are a great loving couple. And I love that they broke the trophy wife trope into shatters with her, despite all those who can’t rest trying to put her back in it. Eric… when it was about your final collection I could support you, I still think you should do it if you can take it easy. But this taking back control of FC is not realistic. And not needed.
Donna really stepped up her game on today’s episode. She was a heck of a lot more than window dressing. She truly loves Eric. She is not the gold digger that many accuse her of being. She adores that man….and you can see it in everything she does.

Milla, I thought the same thing about Luna’s comment. And since there are only a total of about 14-15 people on the show, I was thinking that perhaps Li is the aunt she was referring to. Luna obviously has some Asian decent, and Li is the only one on the show (of the 15 people) who fits that ethnicity. And you’re right, she wouldn’t be flirting with her relative RJ. But I guess never say never after some of the other absurd things we’ve seen on this show.
DeleteHaha Lynn there’s no comparison between that psychopath Quinn and anyone, literally anyone except from Sheila is better for Eric than her. And Donna in particular is really devoted and has only his best interest at heart. I am glad they also involved her in the storyline.
DeleteI think RJ's really going to wish he hadn't betrayed Eric by telling Luna; of all the people in his life that he might confide in, he just blurts it out to a company newcomer.
