DeleteBrooke and Hope have a beautiful mother daughter relationship, and I am proud of the mother Brooke has become she would put her children first before any man including her so called destiny. And we all know one time ago Brooke lived and breathe Ridge. And further this is the second time Ridge has put his lying revengeful children before Brooke. First Thomas faking a CPS call to incriminate Brooke and now Steffy and her clouded judgement of Hope. if only Taylor had found herself a new man all those years ago, her children would have dropped this anamousity towatds the logans because they would have seen their mom living a happy life, but all they saw was their mom broken heart, and they want to fix it because they feel the logans caused it. Why is Steffie telling Ridge what type of conversation he should be having with girlfriend. She is very disrespectful to her father.
DeleteSo, Brooke can put her daughter before a man, but Ridge is horrible for putting his children before a woman? Neither Brooke nor Ridge were there for their children in the past. The fact that they are BOTH trying to do better now should count for something. Ridge does not know what really happened. All he knows is what Steffy told him.
DeleteElle I think Peggy means that if Taylor had accepted that Ridge had moved on with Brooke and taught her kids to respect that, we wouldn't have these situations now with Steffy and Thomas' animosity towards Brooke (and Ridge having to choose who to defend). Which may or may not be true, we will never know. But it wouldn't be a real soap if that had happened. The Brooke Ridge Taylor love triangle is what has made the Bells rich 😀

DeleteI really want Ridge and Steffy to state another reason Hope, HFTF is out because they gave her/the line multiple chance and time to turn it around BUT is not!! Number are low , buyers are pulling out. Hope hasn't done nothing to help her line. All she's good at is whining and meddling other people life/work.

Ridge is currently being raked over the coals for having her precious toddler removed from the building so if he pulled the line she'd withhold nooky or she'll go running back to Billy or maybe even give Deacon a try seeing that she spends SO much time at his restaurant with him lmao 🤣 HFTF is a dead fish, Hope has BIGGER dreams now, like selling leather goods and liquor 🤣
DeleteRidge and Steffy cannot use that reason for kicking out Hope and ending her line because back when Ridge and Carter supported cutting HFTF, Steffy threw them for a loop and decided to keep the line to hold it over Hope's head. The question would be raised as to why it wasn't cut back then but now it is. And we all know the answer to that. An answer which would make Steffy look bad. Steffy's lack of professionalism can actually negatively affect FC. She can also be demoted from her position as co-CEO.
DeleteJust how would she be demoted from her position as Co-CEO? Isn’t she the major shareholder and the others are family members. None of the Logans or Carter are major players here, they are just employees. Even if Hope sued, she doesn’t have a case, since she was strutting around in Company undies, which wasn’t part of her job description and not office attire.
DeleteHaving on your undies in the office - particularly, the Design Office - is not sufficient grounds for dismissal. Also, Steffy's main reason for keeping HFTF was to use it against Hope. Then, she fires Hope for personal reasons, nothing to do with her job, and she did it publicly. If other employees, such as the staff attached to HFTF, decide to walk out, and especially if upper management like Brooke, Katie and Carter decide to leave, this negatively affects the company and it's reputation. I am pretty sure that there is a clause in some FC policy that states that persons, and that includes the owners, are to act professionally at all times so as not to bring the organization into disrepute. Steffy would be in breach of that clause once the word gets out about a mass exit of employees from FC due to her personal vendetta against Hope. It just does not look good for Steffy.

What am I missing here? 🤔🤔 Why is Hope insisting on keeping this secret if Carter is okay with it being known? Doesn't she think Carter can take care of himself?
And why, oh why, is Brooke going along with it? Is she suddenly accepting of her daughter's relationship with Carter, to the point where she is willing to hold on to the one piece of information that can get her daughter her job back?

All of this suspense with Katie not knowing the full story makes me 😂 😂 All I can think to myself is first, her sister takes her husband and now her niece, said sister's daughter, has taken her man. 😂 😂 😂 I know it's her ex, but still. 😂
Elle it's not Brooke's information to share. She's respecting the agreement with Hope. They knew that's exactly how the conversation will go with Ridge so nothing unexpected is happening.
DeleteAnd Carter was fine with it also yesterday but again they agreed not to say anything to Steffy yet. Hope's reasoning from yesterday hasn't changed - Steffy will find a way to get rid of her anyway and going back to grovel with the truth now would only delay it (if that; we don't know if Steffy won't see a relationship with Carter also as a punishable offense).
Nothing from yesterday has changed from what I see.
The end game is (hopefully) that something more convoluted and interesting happens between the two camps than Hope and Carter simply coming clean.
And I seriously doubt Katie will be too outraged about Hope and Carter to see it as a betrayal. I didn't even feel too much a suspense. She'll be surprised and probably not pleased but I don't think it will go beyond that.

DeleteMilla, the difference between yesterday and today is that Carter made his feelings known, in that, he does not mind the secret being out. And this is why I find it strange that Hope is so intent on keeping the secret when Carter is clearly okay with it being known. He can handle himself. It's strange to me that Hope is so insistent on keeping mum when telling the truth can get her her job back.
DeleteAs regards to Brooke, she is always open with Ridge when it comes to Hope, especially if it means protecting Hope at all costs. But I can see this particular scenario playing into the possible storyline of a Ridge/Brooke break up. So I guess, it is what it is.
I find it strange that Katie does not yet know about her niece and Carter, which is why I find it suspenseful. I also think it might be the real reason that Hope does not want anyone to know about her involvement with Carter.
Elle I can't be bothered to re-watch but didn't Carter say already yesterday that they should come clean? It seems to me that they spoke about it and that's when Hope explained why she's against it. I don't think he was keen on keeping them a secret, that was her.
DeleteAnd Brooke doesn't share Hope's secrets, especially if agreed explicitly. It will come out eventually but I definitely don't think it's her place to betray the agreement with her daughter, even for Hope's benefit.
Katie doesn't care so much about Carter if you ask me. Especially since they broke up. And Katie is not so high on Hope's list of priority people to sacrifice her job and line. But she is a factor for sure. They are just weaving a whole storyline of Carter now becoming a double agent. Maybe he'll play a role in Steffy being demoted or in some other way her position endangered. Carter seems to be especially annoyed with her, more than with his BFF Ridge 😀
I believe he did make the attempt yesterday to tell Hope that he was okay with it. Which is when she told him why she kept his name out of it. But today, he was more insistent on letting the cat out of the bag and not to worry about him. I just found it was odd that Hope would still want to keep the secret even though he was fine with it. But anyhoo, I digress. It just seemed odd to me.

Elle let's see if Carter starts questioning why Hope is adamant to keep them a secret. Maybe eventually he will if she continues. But right now it seems like revenge/justice is more on his mind. I like that they are shifting a little the focus from Hope's love life and include the topics of business and power.

DeleteThat's Taylor. She doesn't have storylines of her own (a job, a man) and that's why the character keeps disappearing all the time. Her role is sadly limited to echoing what Steffy says and to trying to get Ridge to stay on that side. At least there's progress now that she's not focused on Ridge (although some viewers believe she actually is and that will come to light eventually).
