Today's show was an awesome episode! Brooke finally said things to Ridge that needed to be said. The slap on Ridge's face followed by the shove to Taylor in her Bratz doll shoes was a great scene. 😂

The shoes were simply to level the playing field for that scene. Brooke is a half-a-foot taller than this Taylor. German-British actor TK being a full foot taller than petite Rebecca Budig refers to her as 'little munchkin'. DeleteI understand Ridge's stance as well. Brooke ALWAYS does something to create a rift between her and Ridge. Last time, it was the kiss with Bill which made Ridge turn to Shauna. Then, the kiss with Deacon, and now not supporting Ridge and Eric against Carter and Hope. Brooke is having no more of it, and so is Ridge. I think he's just tired of the ping ponging himself.

DeleteRenee, it is ALWAYS Brooke's fault. And that's me being as objective as I can be. I'm not trying to hate on her at all but as far back as I can remember, Brooke always does something to alienate Ridge.
DeleteRegarding CPS, that was long after Ridge had already left Brooke for backing up Deacon, when they fought over him being allowed in their home and Brooke's famous words "this is MY house," and then when she ran to Deacon's aid after Ridge accosted him. Ridge left Brooke and moved in to Eric's. When CPS happened, Ridge was already living at Eric's. Why? Because of Brooke's actions regarding Deacon. Ridge did not leave Brooke because of CPS. He merely ran to Taylor on the notion that she was the better option compared to reuniting with Brooke.
The Bridge relationship has one dynamic - Brooke messes up, Ridge runs to someone else. Then, they reunite and it's rinse and repeat, same thing all over again. It's why I keep saying that Brooke needed to ask Ridge if she was his destiny, and she as much as did that in yesterday's show when she told him that they were supposed to be together forever but he is not the one, she deserves someone who loves her and is devoted to her. I was very happy with her yesterday when she came to that realization.
Remember not that long ago Luna and Will were brother and sister, now that they aren't brother and sister, she has the hots for him, kinda creepy if you ask me. Let's see how this all plays out. I bet she'll try to do to Electra what Remy did, maybe poison her. Like I said, let's see how this plays out, it should be very interesting.

That showed loyalty to Ridge, not Hope or Carter. You agree with Ridge that Brooke should have just declared what an outrage the FC takeover was in the press conference? Then what, go hang out & pout with Ridge, Eric, Steffy, & Taylor? They have had no luck getting FC back. Why not give Brooke a chance to do something about it? Just because Brooke's way of getting the company back isn't Ridge's way of handling it doesn't mean her way won't work. DeleteIt's not up to the fashion world to show loyalty in the case of internal issues. No serious company would air them out and expect someone from outside to show support. It would have made them look laughable to customers and other companies for anyone to stand there and talk any other way but professionally. Which Brooke did. The way she responded was the only good way she could. Yes she could have denied talking altogether to save Ridge's all so known fragile ego and prevent him from jumping in bed with his ex. In his case people should always account for that possibility because we are not talking about a serious man, but a baby who needs his ego stroked immediately. His overreaction is way way disproportionate to Brooke not telling him. That's on him and he'll carry now the consequences of losing the company and the woman.

Taylor can dump him if she's smart (but history doesn't show as much), but most important is that Brooke doesn't fall into this stupid destiny cycle soon. It's not just stupid arrogant Ridge himself that's the problem, it's the baggage of Steffy's hate that comes with that by default. Brooke doesn't need all that. DeleteI also did not suggest that Eric and Ridge should have expectations of receiving backing from the fashion industry. I meant that with the information being put out regarding the split between the Forresters and Carter and Hope, the fashion industry would naturally stop all support of FC, not only because of the many years of good business relations with the Forresters, but also out of respect for Eric and Ridge, and Steffy to a lesser degree.
As for Ridge, you can call him a baby all you want, but he has legitimate emotions regarding what Brooke did. He believed that she had good intentions but he still also feels that she should have shown Carter and Hope that she does not support what they are doing. And, I said the same thing some time ago, that Brooke needed to pick a side, either stand with the Forresters or with Carter and Hope. Justifying what they did then becoming CEO to attempt to sway them to change their minds is not a foolproof plan, nor does it show complete loyalty to the Forresters.
After CPS, Ridge and Steffy stood firmly on Brooke's side and told Thomas that he was let go from the company. Ridge isn't asking for much in wanting the same thing from Brooke. I would even take it further and say that when Thomas returned to work, Steffy stood firmly on Hope's side in continually warning Thomas to keep things professional with Hope, and she also continually checked in with Hope to ensure that she was okay with working so closely with Thomas. And that's all that Ridge wants, for Brooke to stand with him.
Elle, I'm calling Ridge a baby because he's not acting like a smart person and an adult. His emotions are more important than business to him. Does he want to have the company back or does he want to keep stomping his feet? We got it, he's unhappy Brooke didn't tell him. Running to bed with Taylor - even Brooke was ready to look past that (I never could, what a manwhore). A smart man would work it out, move past it, talk how to get the company back. The alternative is what we see happening now - Brooke is out of his life along with the company. What a "winner" he is.

Cause Ridge is behaving like a complete arse! What Eric does after he gets the company back, is up to him ofc. BUt would be fun, if he took Brooke seriously, and really makes her CEO over Ridge and Steffy, cause tbh, Eric means nothing almost at FC anymore, when Ridge and Steffy was running the ship.

DeleteBrooke always new Taylor was Ridge second woman and she had accepted it. He almost married her not so long ago. Taylor is always popping up at Ridge like a stalker yet she says her life is fulfilled. Then give the man his space. She is the one who caused them to lose Forrester, when she popped up and distracted Ridge from the discussion about the llc papers. She reminds me of Remy, just so obsessed that they cant let people be.

First Brooke betrayed her daughter and came straight to Ridge to let him no of the plan to take over, then she tells him she will do what it takes to get the company back for him and he is just as dumb as an ass. Brooke needs Carter to trust in her so she can convince him to return the company. Why would she go to the media and blast out that there is trouble in the company that would only hurt the company more. You can tell Ridge and Steffie has no good business sense and are just two power hungry brats that was letting family personal issues get in the way of business decisions. Carter did the right thing, though it was wrong to sneak the company away from underneath his best friend, but i truly believe he had to or that company was going down. Ridge should be grateful that a seasoned personnel and former CEO stepped in to ensure that the company stayed afloat, but instead he sees his woman as the enemy. I was Ridge and Brooke biggest fan. but Brooke deserves better, a man like deacon. He would have done anything for Brooke and he has surely managed to tame Sheila. I like how hard he fought for Sheila when everyone was against her and he never allowed them to disrespect her in his presence. He even went against his own daughter, sacrificing their relationship to be with the woman he cared about. Why isnt Ridge that for Brooke. Please dont put Brooke with Bill, he is another one who flip flops between women.

DeletePeggy, Brooke did a very good thing going to Ridge about Carter's and Hope's takeover plan. She should have stayed on that path and remained 100% loyal to Ridge. But no, instead she chose to justify what they did and then pleaded with Ridge to understand. Imo, that completely voided her initial loyalty since it did not last long.
DeleteRidge and Brooke are toxic, always have been, and they are better apart. He never had any problems like that when he and Taylor were married. It was always someone trying to tear them apart. I am not advocating for Ridge and Taylor in the least bit, but he said he just wants one woman who can be loyal to him. If he finds it in Taylor, good for them. She was his entire world at one time, I'm sure they can find their way back to each other again and become stronger than ever.

She even said she is willing to get past him turning to Taylor (way too quickly). And he rejects her, instead of being thankful and appreciative. And he's still accusing her of siding with Carter and Hope. That slap was a build-up of emotion and frustration. And pushing Taylor on the way out. That was like: "Ugh, the last person I really want to see right now. Move bitch! Get out of my way"! And, it was kinda funny. 😆

He wouldn't have even known about Carter stealing the company if Brooke hadn't come and told him. That is loyalty ridge, loyalty isn't running back to your ex every time you get a little pissed off. And I do not understand why bill got that little nutcase out of jail. I know he's got a lot of money and a lot of power, but for a double murder and a kidnapping?
