ReplyDeleteThe only one who brings some freshness to the cringiest dinner of the decade is actually Matt. Thomas can be blamed of many things but rarely bad acting even when the script is crap. I actually liked his speech to Hope. I can’t imagine how it’s possible to love someone so unconditionally over decades who doesn’t love you… does it ever lead to mutual love?

DeleteThis whole story line is getting absurd. Yesterday I said Sheila doesn't smile...she has a snarl type of grin. Today we had sound effects? Did anyone else hear that around 7.52 min. I had to go back and listen. And who is this guy? He obviously helped Deacon get the restaurant, and Sheila doesn't need a judge or lawyer....she is Scott free. I use to like Deacon but just maybe...he is setting her up for something.?

DeleteDeacon was talking to the judge who Bill paid off to set Sheila free. Now, here we see Deacon was the one who pulled the strings to get Sheila out of jail this last time. I'm seeing one of two possibilities here...
Either, this storyline is going to end up with Hope getting hurt by Sheila which will prompt Deacon to reverse all the strings he pulled with the judge, thereby sending her to prison for good. Or, Hope will find out about Deacon's hand in Sheila being a free woman and cut off her father for good.
Unless, Deacon is playing Sheila. Is it just coincidence that this judge turned up right as Sheila and Deacon decided to end things?
Lmao about the shopping. Sorry I thought the judge Bill paid off looked older.. so is baby B a 1 yr old yet? 😂😂😂 it will go quick.☹️

D, the man with Deacon was the judge who set Sheila free.. Obviously he and Deacon are childhood friends.. so turns out Sheila is only free cause of Deacons friendship with the judge.. I don’t think the judge had anything to do with helping Deacon with the restaurant.. Deacon pulled a favour with the Judge so Sheila was let free..

😂😂😂😂 No onesies?? That bluish grey color is maybe the new fashion this fall, and paired with that that jacket that had a hint of the same color was gorgeous, but I do like a longer jacket, hip length. I have a hallway painted slate blue, never really liked it. Maybe it will grow on me.

DeleteEven though it was stupid AF to do it, Deacon loves Sheila, and he felt she needed one last chance. This is why he has been so adamant on her staying on the straight and narrow, to not let everything he worked so hard for get wasted. As in collecting in the favour from the judge to get her off the hook. But how is he gonna help her when they now called it quits? He must know she can't stay on this path for long, giving the chance.

DeleteI think he played David on the Young and the Restless. He was a bad guy and a plastic surgeon who he was paying to alter his face carved KILLER in his forehead! It was a great storyline

ReplyDeleteHope’s aphrodisiac when it comes to Thomas is him telling her that “She is the only woman for him.” That seems to really get her motor going!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I still think it’s sad that the thing she finds the most appealing about Thomas is his complete devotion to her. Not the best foundation for falling in love with someone. And she doesn’t seem any closer to those “love feelings” than she was weeks ago. But Thomas is like ‘The Little Engine That Could’ children’s story…..he just won’t give up.
And Li seemed to set the stage for some other reveal that’s soon to come our way when she said…..”I wonder what other things Jack kept from me??”
The storyline with Finn actually doing something about Sheila needs to pick up the pace drastically!!
Yep, Deacon loves Sheila….or at the very least has very strong feelings for her. So it’s Deacon’s fault Sheila was set free?!! Deacon just went down 20 points in my book.

Yep, D…..I thought the same thing. It must be Luna related. Geez, does that mean that Jack had an affair with another woman besides Sheila….and Luna is Finn’s 1/2 sister?? It seems like Luna would somehow be connected to Li, given the ethnicity. But doesn’t seem logical that Li would keep her a secret.

For years, Hope was trying to get rid of Thomas' obssession for her, what he did with the informations about Beth, what he did to Brooke, not only once. Everything we had to endure (the mannequin' SL among others) only to get to THAT result? They put them together in the end???
ReplyDeleteAnd Sheila, she confessed, not matter whom the judge is friend with, a murderer is a murderer and she couldn't be set free... Plus, Deacon helped them catch her, but is in love with her??
But the Emmy goes to the worse SL ever, Brooke and Taylor finally realizing that Ridge is a Jerk and chosing themselves to finally go back to the starting point... 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
I don’t believe Hope and Thomas will end up together. Hope is still very much reluctant and that's far from a woman in love. If you have to be convinced by your kid or tricked into loving someone, even if it works, it won't last. If she wanted Thomas her heart wouldn't let her be apart, but it looks more like she would have to "teach" her heart to love Thomas for the sake of giving that family a try.
DeleteHope had not been trying to get rid of Thomas for years. It had always been written that she was drawn to him somewhat. She expressed interest in him years ago and went on vacation with him to Cabo. She married him even though everyone advised her against it. She even agreed to help him with Douglas and eventually adopted him as her own son. And despite everything that Thomas did, Hope always stuck by his side, giving him chance after chance to do better. It is the entire basis for why her feelings for him developed to where they are now. Their lives have always been intertwined in one way or another.
Delete@Milla The very fact that Hope can't stay away from Thomas and admitted to him that she loves being around him shows where her heart is. She chose to go to her favorite place in Rome with Thomas when she could have gone with someone else or gone back to her hotel room. She was completely gutted when she realized that Thomas overheard what she said about him to Brooke and even admitted to her husband, in the face of losing him, that she had feelings for Thomas even though she knows she shouldn't. Not because she hasn't admitted outright that she is in love with him doesn't mean she isn't. Her feelings for him aren't just physical or based on desire. Anyone can see that.
DeleteMilla, you are soooooooooo right!!! What woman uses a man for sex?? It’s men who are generally lustful. If they portray Hope just wanting Thomas for sex, that’s the worst possible insult - because women are the emotional ones who tend to fall in love. She has NEVER had one bit of interest in Thomas romantically until now. Just add it to the list of sad storylines we endure these days. And like you said….if she has to be convinced to be a family by her son, that just pours more salt into the wound for Thomas. That’s exactly why she reluctantly agreed to marry Thomas the first time, because of her guilt surrounding Douglas!! Just another repeat. Boring boring!!!

I really hope the same level of distain is shown for Taylor when she sticks her big nose in to break the two up!!! But I’m sure Taylor will get a free pass from the Brooke haters. After all, it’s Taylor….and she is just looking out for her son like a good mom does!!! 🤣🤣🤣
DeleteElle, those individual bits you mention are from when Hope started to turn (not unlike a vampire 😅), before that it was one-sided - more or less creepily so. I'm not disputing that she has "feelings" but that can be anything on the spectrum of emotions and still be faaar from love. Love either is there or isn't. Thomas has been trying for decades to get her to *love* him and only now she got to "feelings". I've never ever seen her want to be with him in a couple, it was always him relentlessly pursuing her and her (due to some malfunction in the Liam relationship and/or Douglas-guilt) going with it. Never have they just been together and equally invested. And I suspect they never will be.

DeleteAnd regarding Hope - to me she is basically chanelling her inner Brooke (or what she imagines her mom was). This whole madness started with the bad boy comments and we all remember how, while it was developing, all she could hear was Brooke's voice. Since then she changed into this person (or vampire, to me 😅) that some people love and some just can't stand. And Thomas is the marker of this new her. But her heart hasn't changed.

Finn as a Doctor and listening to your Adopted Mother can you not see she is using you to hurt Sheila for her own hatred towards Sheila. Finn, if Li was a good role model to you she would be advising you to get Sheila in Therapy, instead of convincing you to bring more stress and sadness in her life!
