Perhaps, one day in the not too distant future, Deacon & Hope can have a double wedding - a Daddy/Daughter wedding where he marries bad girl Sheila & she marries bad boy Thomas. Both women just want someone to love them, so everything should work out. 🥰😂

Deacon is either not that good an actor or really has a plan. His speech to Sheila felt too weak to be just that - him being "crazy about her". He has the same face on as right before he turned her in. Hahaha "you love me, Deacon" - well if you say so 😅
I agree what you're saying about Ridge and Eric but the problem might be rationalizing with Eric. It's definitely more than arthritis and RJ is right that Ridge deserves to know whats "actually" wrong with him.

DeleteOn the Deacon thing…I think it’s legit because of the judge’s involvement in dismissing Sheila’s charges. I think Deacon has had genuine feelings for Sheila for a very long time. However, Deacon is navigating through very dangerous waters right now.
Lynn if you're right about Deacon he's really going to suffer big time.
DeleteMilla, I agree. And how does he plan on keeping the secret now? If they are actually in love, that will get out in no time. Remember how repulsed Deacon was by Sheila when they first ran into each other? He wanted nothing to do with her. A far cry from where we are today.
DeleteThat’s exactly why I can’t believe he really is in love, Lynn. Maybe it runs in the family 🤣 (but seriously Hope‘s feelings make a little more sense, Thomas is showing progress). He always wanted to get her out of his life and was only ever interested in her when he thought she was with Bill. Very weird.
DeleteI was the one who didn’t think Deacon was involved in the sting operation that Bill and Ridge set up because I thought Deacon’s feelings seemed genuine for Sheila at the time. But then it was revealed that he did get pulled into it. I always thought he helped trap Sheila only because Bill threatened him. Honestly, I think Deacon’s feelings for Sheila have been real for a very long time. If they aren’t, he is a very good actor. Now, how we went from disgust to this is definitely odd!! But then again, nothing makes sense to me on this show. 🤣🤣

DeleteI understand Eric wanting do this one last line, and prove himself. But it's not fair to put RJ in the middle, keeping Eric's condition a secret. Eric might start getting so stressed that he has a heart attack or stroke, then RJ would feel so guilty. And it's Carter's job to look at the bottom line; the financial consequences. It's not fair to take away from other successful and profitable parts of the company for Eric's spending on his line. A week ago I was Team Eric, but today seeing how stressed he is, and RJ keeping the secret, and especially the financial strain. I gotta switch teams. And not so much Team Ridge, but what's best for Forrester Creations. If it don't make dollars, then it don't make sense. To quote some rap song.

Liam is being such an ass! He stands there telling Finn that he should not be focused on him so much because he is not the problem, his mother is. Yet, Liam knows that he has been actively going after Steffy. Kissed her twice, told her he still loves her and she is the only one for him, that he made the biggest mistake in his life leaving her and yada, yada, yada. He even told both Ridge and Wyatt that he would jump at the chance to have Steffy back again yet, he pretends to Finn that he does not want to undermine his and Steffy's marriage, that it is just about Kelly. Yeah, right! Piss off, you little puke!
DeleteI truly believe with the symptoms Eric is showing, hands now trembling along with the headache and somewhat or increasing irritability; he possibly has Parkinson disease. He’s the right age range. Good reason why his medication isn’t working. Happens often with this illness and many changes need to happen to the medications.
ReplyDeleteI’m hoping this line can be completed by Eric with the help of RJ. Eric deserves his grand finale as he wants. Maneuver the budget, Ridge how about cutting back some money from your line this season and some trimming budgets from all lines this season to make it possible.
Other thought is Eric might pay for the line himself if it comes down to it 🤷♀️
Bf I too hope to see Eric finish his final line, with the help of Ridge and RJ. But if it is dementia they will have a hard time convincing him to let anyone help. Rationalizing anything will be a whole other problem. 😣 I've seen it happen.

DeleteEric has not designed in a very long time. And when he was with HFTF in Thomas' absence, they all agreed that the designs were sub par. That said, I can understand why Carter and Ridge are hesitating in putting even more money into a line that they are not sure will succeed. What they currently have has been working. To take a chance on something new, from a business perspective, is not a good idea. If there was room for it, most definitely. But if it means removing something that is working and replacing it with something that they are not sure of, that could mean a big loss for the company.
DeleteEric, with all his years of experience and building up the company, knows this. This is probably another reason why he does not want anyone to know of his deteriorating condition. Eric should feel satisfied with all that he has accomplished rather than insisting on doing this to the detriment of his health. At the very least, he should be open to working on the current couture line with Ridge if he wants to go out on a bang.
Excatley Elle. From a business perspective, it makes no sense to Carter or Ridge to gamble money on something new when all the other lines are successful right now. All the reason more that they need to know the truth about Eric.

I think when Eric stepped in to help design for HFTF, they simply decided Eric’s designs weren’t as good as Thomas’ designs. But that was specific to the HFTF collection.
DeleteHowever, Eric has designed for the couture line for decades. That’s where Eric excels. So saying his designs are subpar isn’t really accurate.
Also I don’t know who on the show ever confirmed Eric stopped designing for couture. I never heard that. And as for HFTF, Eric himself said that he believes he subconsciously sabotaged himself. Not that it would matter - since Thomas is the only one on the planet who ever got that mystic vision of Hope‘s that nobody could ever explain to me 😅

I feel bad for Eric, but I honestly feel as if RJ’s put in the middle and should tell Ridge what’s going on. I don’t know what to think about Deacon and Shelia. First, he sends her packing and now invites her back.

Nevermind getting by security but because he has a key he just walks in, doesn't knock and obviously never called to say he was dropping by.

ReplyDeleteTotally agree.. Liam does not own that house anymore.. when he and Steffy split , Steffy bought the beach house from Bill.. She and Finn now own that house, Liam is a guest.. He should not just be able to walk in as he pleases.. Yes his daughter lives there, but you call and ask if it’s ok to come, not just turn up and use your key that you should no longer have have to just let yourself in, uninvited.. Liam is trying to push Finns buttons.. He is being territorial..
