Ah Taytay… I had hope that you may at least be more clear about what those "necessary steps" are and are not just here to kill air time. I start to feel bad for Finn. Everyone keeps hounding him to "do something" but nobody has any actual ideas what. I don't know what I'd do in his place.
Maybe none of Eric's children are his anyway. Stephanie really got around. No wonder they all think promiscuous is the norm.
DeleteMilla I get what your saying about everyone hounding Finn to do something. At the very beginning he should have called police, filed a restraining order, a protective order and no contact order but he did none of that. And it's a joke with all the security anyone can walk in, Liam because he has a key and it's his place too, Taylor today...I didn't hear a knock and then there's Sheila sneaking in the bushes and looking in windows all the time.
DeleteYes the writing has failed here so royally again D. In the beginning Carter said restraining orders were filed and yet they didn't call the police when Sheila showed up at their home. Him and Steffy just stood there and debated with her. They keep "increasing the security", by now those houses should look like Fort Knox even from the satellite footage. And he still needs to "do something" that nobody knows what.

Taylor, can't she just shut up. She tried to kill Bill and yet she is not in prison, just shut up. And it seems that "do something" is still the only thing she loves to say. Remember when she was always asking Stephanie to "do something!!!"
And Sheila, what is it with Finn? Why is she obssessed to have a relation with THIS ONE? She has 5 children, can't she just go pissing one of them for a change.
I think the newer writers are to blame (of course Bell for hiring them too). The show was pretty great until 2013-14, basically until last Thorne left, then bearable until ca 2018. Then they gradually got rid of almost everyone. Now just recycling old crap in more and more unbelievable ways.

I agree, @Milla. Someone needs to just come out and say "kill her". Or Finn should just come out and ask. I wish this show was on HBO like the Sopranos. Someone could just throw Sheila into a wood chipper. Too much for daytime television. But I would love it! Definitely must-see tv. 👀

DeleteI don't understand why Donna wants to keep this a secret either. I really thought yesterday RJ got through to her. Hope tomorrow he does tell Ridge the truth. It's going to hurt everyone in the end if he doesn't speak up.
DeleteI skipped a lot of the Li nonsense but I don't believe she said "you need to kill her". She compared her with cancer that he needs to cut out but that's not the same as "kill her". She means that but she won't say it. If she really wants to help she should sacrifice herself and do it. I think someone mentioned that in a previous comment.
DeleteD, I think Donna is stuck in a really hard position.. Eric has opened up to her the most about this, and she is really torn.. She knows Eric feels really betrayed from Ridges rejection when he first asked him to collaborate with him.. I think she is really worried that if RJ tells Ridge what’s going on, that Eric will feel completely betrayed by everyone.. But RJ has been placed in the worst position out of everyone.. He won’t forgive himself if something happens to Eric.. Ridge will also be extremely angry at RJ for not telling him.. it’s a lose lose situation for RJ..
ReplyDeleteI can’t understand why they can’t put the bedroom line on hold for this.. It’s the least important and least profitable line, it would make sense..even if Ridge beats Eric, I still think Erics final collection will pull in a lot more money than the bedroom line does.. But of course we know why the bedroom line won’t be compromised!! Perhaps if Brooke is so concerned about HFTF, her “daughters” line, then, perhaps she can sacrifice her bedroom line for one season, considering neither she or Hope or anyone else for that matter, would even have a line if it were not for Eric.. It’s absolutely rediculous that a company that is supposed to be the biggest and most profitable design house worth billions, can’t afford for its founder to make a final collection..?? They are making it out like Eric is abusing the companies money and profits, smh.. Even if there was no health issue with Eric, if he wants to make a collection, then no questions asked!!
Colly I get what you're saying. Donna and RJ are now in a really hard position, but I think right from the start the mind set Eric was in he took Ridge as rejecting him when really Ridge, I think was just trying to say there is too much going on at that time, and Eric's designs were sub par before all this started so why now?? That's why RJ should tell his dad and not worry about what Donna thinks. Like you said it is really a lose lose situation and not fair for RJ to have to deal with it.

Even both her sisters unimpressed with cockiness and demands, the way she was talking.. Yes, the bedroom line might be “profitable”, but at the end of the day, Eric has EVERY right to use the company HE built and created and made so successful, to create his own line.. Why should Eric have to “pay” out of his own pocket to create a line for his own company?? Then perhaps Brooke and Hope should pay for their own lines then, going by your logic?? Regardless, from a business standpoint, putting the smallest line on hold for one season so that Eric can create his final line, is not unreasonable, considering a one only Forrester original dress sells for a significantly higher price than a piece of lingerie.. it’s not about cancelling the bedroom line, it’s a hold for this season to allow for the FOUNDER whose name the company carry’s, to create his final collection.. it really is that simple..

Steffy tried to call 911 for Finn, and Sheila stopped her doing it by shooting her too..

DeleteDeacon was Bridget's husband, he could have a good life but he didn't love her, he was only after Eric and used her, he was in love with Amber. So it has nothing to do with being rich or poor, it's about the bad choices they made.
Sheila died years ago and yet they made her come back like she just served time in prison but she died. So it's just nonsense and iy shows how poor is the writers imagination.
The rich people never goes to jail. If you are Logan or Forrester, you'll never get judged, that's true. Deacon has became a good man. But continues ruining his life because none will be in contact with him anymore when they realizes that he's in love with Sheila

Taylor was right. Finn just sits there with that dumb expression on his face time and time again when people tell him what he needs to do. Finn IS NOT doing everything he can to keep Sheila away. Finn absolutely needs to man up!!!
But Lynn nobody has actually told Finn *what* to do. Do you know what he can do that won't (normally) land him in prison? Everyone keeps just urging him to get Sheila away like he must know how. He needs to do something but some help and less bashing would certainly be more useful. They all can talk but nobody has the guts to do something.

DeleteI think Finn is too nice. He has made some attempts to tell Sheila he doesn’t want her around, but he basically walked it all back when he hugged her at the court house and thanked her at the beach for saving Kelly. He needs to really threaten her! They need to get a restraining order on Sheila for starters. If she breaks the restraining order, she would be arrested. Break it multiple times and I’m sure the penalty increases. But beyond that, Finn needs to tell Sheila he despises her. He feels NO connection to her whatsoever. And he needs to forcefully remove her from the house if she shows up again. Not just ask her nicely to leave like he’s done in the past. It’s hard to take Finn seriously. He doesn’t have a scary demeanor.
He doesn’t convince anyone that she will truly be gone, because I’m not sure he really wants her completely gone. He always acts like he has to think about it.
Lynn yes those things make sense and people around Finn should help him see that. If they really want to help, they should unite to keep Sheila out and not just hound him. Yes he made mistakes and I bashed him a lot for them, but they leave him to fight her completely alone and only know to blame him.
DeleteDeacon is the worst of everyone, I have never been more disgusted with that worm (except for when he put his claws in teenage Bridget) sorry for my language. I will be soooo happy when someone finds out and makes him pay for allowing Sheila to terrorize them.
