Exactly Charmaine.. there are plenty of people that suffer serious mental health issues and still raise their children.. Thomas has changed immensely and let’s not forget he was the one who got Liam from spending a lifetime behind bars.. he could have just let it be and perused hope, but he did the right thing.. at the end of the day, Douglas is Thomas’s son, and they are now at the point where Douglas wants to b with his dad and vice versa.. Been watching old episodes of Bold on youtube, and Kelly really plays this character to the T, "Brooke", has NEVER changed. She is entitled, pushy, rude, mean and persistent. I watched the episode when she married Eric, and how deeming she was towards Stephanie and wanted to take her place so badly just to become a "Forrester". The lady stopped at nothing to get where she is.

I like the way Thomas handled Hope. Hope did not want to talk but he insisted that they did. He wasn't forceful or abrupt instead, he explained all the reasons why it's time for him to be a full-on parent to his son. I gotta say though, I was a little surprised at Hope's response. I thought she would have been more understanding. Yes, she loves Douglas and wants him with her full time, but as Thomas said, she had to know this day would come. Thomas is Douglas' father. It's only fair that he gets a chance to raise his son the way he wants to raise him. Hope needs to understand that.

Apparently they do have shared custody, but permanently lives with Hope and Thomas visits. But i get what you mean. Perhaps a 2 weeks with Hope, 2 weeks with Thomas etc. I think the Issue with Steffy being pushy is to keep the whole she's like Stephanie narrative, and how Stephanie never quit when she wanted anything. It's also a Brooke trait... she also never stops.

Since the Finn/Steffy reunion, Finn has hardly been around so I guess that's why Steffy has so much time on her hands. Someone mentioned that maybe Finn had Sheila and it made sense why he was absent. However, that woman today with Deacon, I have a feeling it's Sheila. Sheila always wears flats and when she and Deacon fell onto his couch, you could see her feet. She was wearing black flats.

Ridge was 100% sober when he kissed Taylor and didn’t get 1/100th the grief from Brooke that he gave Brooke. Moreover, Brooke’s kiss with Deacon didn’t compare to the “epic” 😂😂 kiss that Taylor and Ridge shared. So again, it’s like comparing apples and oranges. And like I keep saying….Brooke has had zero ulterior motives with Deacon. In fact she has treated Deacon badly all in an effort to please dirtbag Ridge. While Ridge on the other hand, goes along playing both sides of it with Brooke and Taylor. His behavior is beyond inappropriate with Taylor for someone who is trying to ‘make things work with his wife.’ Truth is…Ridge is feeling torn right now. Wow, Deacon has sex with a woman that he just met 5 minutes ago. He doesn't even know her name. Ridge is going to be at Eric with Thomas? Donna is living there now, is Ridge going to be making passes at Donna?
If the Forrester's are so worried about Thomas, why didn't any of them step up and take Douglas when Thomas was going through his mental crisis? Neither Ridge, Taylor nor Steffy stepped up at the beginning, in fact, Taylor thought that it was a great idea for Hope to step in as a mother for Douglas so her little princess could have Liam.
Thomas wanted to "take care" of Douglas for himself. He had his ulterior motives for not wanting anyone else taking care of Douglas. It was during this time that Brooke and Hope saw an opportunity and swooped in and had Thomas sign over maternal rights to Hope. It was quite underhanded and was not discussed with him or anyone else prior.
After all the trickery and deceit Thomas put the Logans through, getting custodial rights to Douglas seemed like child’s play. Thomas is the king of receipt. So maybe we should look more at why it was the right thing to do - to have Hope take care of Douglas vs how we got there.
Yes Lynn, let’s highlight Thomas’s misdeeds, and sweep it under the carpet what brook and hope did!! No Lynn, we need to look at how Hope got Douglas because she did it when Thomas was not in a good state of mind and now that he is, she wants her past trickery to sustain Douglas' current living arrangement. However, it can't because Thomas now is in a far better place mentally than he was before and Douglas is his biological son. Hope better not push this because she can end up losing all custody of Douglas.

Of course, Steffy could visit any time she wanted to. How would that go over with the Forresters? Hope adopted Douglas so she is his mother. It's not been that long ago that Thomas was making out with a mannequin. He was keeping the secret that Beth was alive and caused Emma to run off of the road to her death because she was going to tell the truth. He also threatened anyone who was thinking of telling Hope, even threatened Douglas that they would lose Hope. If the Forresters cared so much about Douglas, why did they not let him live with them before Hope and Douglas bonded? Douglas and Thomas could have moved in with Steffy, Taylor or Ridge. Instead of helping her grieving son and grandson, Taylor skips the country because she couldn't bear to see Ridge and Brooke together.

Someone mentioned that maybe Finn had Sheila and it made sense why he was absent. However, that woman today with Deacon, I have a feeling it's Sheila. Sheila always wears flats and when she and Deacon fell onto his couch, you could see her feet. She was wearing black flats.

I think we are heading for war between the Forrester's and the Logan's. So, Ridge what do you think of your Brooke now? Do you still love that Witch? Are you going to put up with her crap? Since Steffy told Taylor to start fighting, I wonder will we the "gloves" on and these women fighting for their man? If the Logan's start causing chaos, I bet Steffy will step in and take Brooke, Hope, and/or both down. Liam is going to be caught in the middle of all that. Speaking about Hope that girl needs to grow up and stop having Mommy fight her own battles, I have never once seen her stand brave and fight on her own, it's always Brooke doing the fighting for her.

Because Brooke was under the influence as a known alcoholic. And that always spells trouble. Plus Brooke was tricked into drinking. Ridge was 100% sober when he kissed Taylor and didn’t get 1/100th the grief from Brooke that he gave Brooke. Moreover, Brooke’s kiss with Deacon didn’t compare to the “epic” 😂😂 kiss that Taylor and Ridge shared. So again, it’s like comparing apples and oranges. And like I keep saying….Brooke has had zero ulterior motives with Deacon. In fact she has treated Deacon badly all in an effort to please dirtbag Ridge. While Ridge on the other hand, goes along playing both sides of it with Brooke and Taylor. His behavior is beyond inappropriate with Taylor for someone who is trying to ‘make things work with his wife.’ Truth is…Ridge is feeling torn right now. And Brooke was never once feeling “torn” over Deacon. I’m calling a spade a spade and you will be hard pressed to say I’m wrong. I’ll say it again, Brooke needs to dump that two-timing loser immediately!!! Taylor can have him!!! It will be a couple of weeks at most before Ridge is begging Brooke to take him back. Brooke should hand Ridge to Taylor on a silver platter.

Neither Ridge, Taylor nor Steffy stepped up at the beginning, in fact, Taylor thought that it was a great idea for Hope to step in as a mother for Douglas so her little princess could have Liam.

It was during this time that Brooke and Hope saw an opportunity and swooped in and had Thomas sign over maternal rights to Hope. It was quite underhanded and was not discussed with him or anyone else prior.

No Lynn, we need to look at how Hope got Douglas because she did it when Thomas was not in a good state of mind and now that he is, she wants her past trickery to sustain Douglas' current living arrangement. However, it can't because Thomas now is in a far better place mentally than he was before and Douglas is his biological son. Hope better not push this because she can end up losing all custody of Douglas.

Thomas straight up said he could not be a father to Douglas when all that was going on. The fact that he signed the papers at all is just more proof of that. Thomas was a BAD father. Taylor shooting Bill in the back and leaving him for dead was no accident. Taylor claims to love Ridge so much, but she let him by blamed and sit in jail for a crime that he did not do. How would Steffy like it if Liam asked for Kelly to come and live with him and Hope? What if Liam didn't want Finn playing daddy to Kelly and wanted her to live with him, her real father? Of course, Steffy could visit any time she wanted to. How would that go over with the Forresters? Hope adopted Douglas so she is his mother. It's not been that long ago that Thomas was making out with a mannequin. He was keeping the secret that Beth was alive and caused Emma to run off of the road to her death because she was going to tell the truth. He also threatened anyone who was thinking of telling Hope, even threatened Douglas that they would lose Hope. If the Forresters cared so much about Douglas, why did they not let him live with them before Hope and Douglas bonded? Douglas and Thomas could have moved in with Steffy, Taylor or Ridge. Instead of helping her grieving son and grandson, Taylor skips the country because she couldn't bear to see Ridge and Brooke together.

It’s not her place to make these demands.. yes, have an opinion, but she has no say in the decisions made between Thomas and hope.. I can see brook doing what she has done in the past, anything to undermine Thomas.. what Thomas did in the past is in the past.. and he has his act together now, and wants to be the father Douglas deserves.. as long as he stays on this path, then there should be no problems.. as long as brook keeps her nose out of it!! But we will have to see how far she goes this time?? I can definately see her getting Donna to report every move Thomas makes.. but we will have to see!!

Colly, I cannot give Brooke credit for this because she really had no other choice since Ridge recently forgave her for kissing Deacon and Bill. Also, beside wanting to butter him up for the Douglas conversation, Brooke doesn't want Ridge running back to Taylor so she's playing her cards right and basically walking on eggshells with Ridge, especially since he hasn't fully recommit Ted to her. His claim that he loves her didn't even sound genuine.
