The reason why Brooke wasn't invited is because Ridge hasn't officially gone back to Brooke, and he is still spending time away from her. Not, only that she would've ruined the whole evening anyway by balling out Thomas for wanting to take Douglas away from Hope and that she will help fight for her daughter to keep Douglas in staying with Hope. Ridge may love Brooke with all his heart, BUT he still continues to show some emotions with Taylor as well. Umm, I think ridge married Taylor first, after Carolyn died, she was his therapist and they fell in love and ended up married.. brook was ridges mistress for a very very long time before marrying, in fact I be think she married Eric before ridge because she desperately wanted to be a forrester.. so Eric was next best thing.. I`m not sure why you would presume that Donna would be the instigator of this, given that Thomas is so incredibly evil, I can certainly believe that he would be the one at fault, trying to get rid of Brookes sister. Donna is a far better person than Thomas. I mean she hasn`t murdered anyone, nor has she been a party to child abuse, nor does she involve herself with criminals who wish to kill her sister. I think the Brooke lovers are conveniently blind to what is really happening on the show.
We have Thomas who has been working very hard on being a better person after his surgery. He did things he is not proud of and has admitted as much. He has not done anything "evil" or "sick" since then yet he is being made out to be someone who cannot take care of his son and who will purposely go after his grandfather's mistress/live-in girlfriend.
Brooke and Donna, on the other hand, continue to display questionable behaviour. Donna sleeping with a married man and Brooke with her usual manipulations yet, they can never do no wrong.

I would not put it past Brooke and Donna to mess things up for Thomas as I am certain that Brooke's plan is to have Hope get sole custody of Thomas' son so she will do whatever it takes to discredit him. You need to update the browser to the latest version. Or you need to install another browser. There is no such problem in Google Chrome latest version. This is definitely due to an outdated version of the browser, because the same thing happens on my old TV, but there are no problems on the new one.
They managed to make fake Taylor actually look more like original Taylor optically. But the moment she opens her mouth with that fake voice it all crashes. Hunter Tylo had class and presence not to mention always a possibility for a legendary cat fight with Brooke 😀 wondering if it's really all lost and we can't hope for her back?
Hunter Tylo has been through a lot personally which I think is included in her reasons for not wanting to come back to the show. Her focus has shifted and it seems, she just wants to live her life privately and away from all the fuss and glamour that show biz brings.

Why must Brooke always jump the gun? She's only making Hope feel more insecure about the situation. Hope was just fine waiting until Thomas brought Douglas home but no, Brooke insisted that she call and find out where Douglas is because Douglas needs to be back home now! As for her having her own place, she had planned to have done so when she came back, BUT it was Steffy's idea of her mother stay and live in her in the house. As for Thomas he had an apartment in the past, I don't know what happened with that story. The reason why Brooke wasn't invited is because Ridge hasn't officially gone back to Brooke, and he is still spending time away from her. Not, only that she would've ruined the whole evening anyway by balling out Thomas for wanting to take Douglas away from Hope and that she will help fight for her daughter to keep Douglas in staying with Hope. Ridge may love Brooke with all his heart, BUT he still continues to show some emotions with Taylor as well. If you really consider a person to be the "love of your life" then you have no business messing around with the other, you either love them truly or you don't, he has no business messing around with Taylor!

He has not done anything "evil" or "sick" since then yet he is being made out to be someone who cannot take care of his son and who will purposely go after his grandfather's mistress/live-in girlfriend.
Brooke and Donna, on the other hand, continue to display questionable behaviour. Donna sleeping with a married man and Brooke with her usual manipulations yet, they can never do no wrong.

Uhhhh, we think Thomas fans are conveniently forgetting that he kept the secret from his family and Brooke about Sheila switching the champagne bottles. How is that not “questionable behavior”? And like we have said 100 times, Thomas’s bad / evil behavior predates his brain injury. The only thing that happened as a result of the brain injury was the mannequin fiasco. I find that Brooke and Hope I'd out of place to want to put a time stamp on how long Thomas can spend with his own damn son !! Why must Brooke always jump the gun? She's only making Hope feel more insecure about the situation. Hope was just fine waiting until Thomas brought Douglas home but no, Brooke insisted that she call and find out where Douglas is because Douglas needs to be back home now! Brooke is blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Thomas is just testing the waters for now to see whether Douglas wants to live with him or not. Brooke, however, is acting like Thomas has ripped Douglas out of his home and has sued for full custody. Geez Brooke!

I agree Ell, all brook EVER does, is scare the absolute crap out of hope, and I think that’s why hope is always too scared to handle anything herself.. brook makes her doubt her own ability to handle issues because she blows them so out of proportion and it’s always that they, oops meant Taylor are always scheming, and they are being attacked.. brook does this either consciously or subconsciously to keep control of the situation.. it’s like hope is just a child who can’t fend for herself.. she just freaks her out to the point that she gives in to brooks demands so she will give brook control over the situation.. I would never talk like that to my kids, “we r under attack” ffs… it was the same when steffy was in the hospital... if brook keeps this up, hope will lose full control..
