I didn't get that that is what Liam was thinking when he said what he said. I thought he was simply agreeing with Brooke's stance on the matter - that since Ridge just moved back in after being estranged from Brooke because of Deacon, that Hope posting the photo was not helping the situation. And with him being in Monaco and being overjoyed with the return of Finn, that he might have taken the photo Hope posted the wrong way. He was simply saying that posting the photo was ill-timed. At least that's what I got.
We've seen in the past that Hope acts innocently when she does things but that she does have an ulterior motive behind her actions. I believe this is one of those times. She really was not pleased about what Ridge said about her father when he moved back in with Brooke. On some level, I believe Hope's actions were meant to get back at Ridge.
