Didn't we love the program today? Ridge enjoys his family and cares. Liam seems to be always sleeping and Hope seems to be always manipulating Thomas to give in to her.
What a really nice show today. I love how committed Ridge is being to Steffy. You can see that she is all that he is concerned about right now. Everything else has taken a back seat. Again, I have to congratulate JMW and the wonderful job she is doing with this storyline.
What was up with Hope today and that "side-eyed, come-to-me" look that she gave to Thomas when he said that both him and Douglas love her?
I like how supportive Liam is being. I thought for sure he would have used this incident to somehow lure Steffy back into his web. I am pleasantly surprised that instead, he speaks very highly of Finn and wants Steffy to do whatever she needs to do to heal.
Soooooo happy to see Finn making progress. I really do not want this storyline being drawn out. I am thinking that when Finn wakes up, he may go find Steffy wherever she is. Sort of like how he ran after her when he came to the cliffhouse to propose and realized that she was about to leave.
Ohhhh that would be so brilliant! It was a lovely episode today.
One feel the send off by her cast mates and JMW aka Steffy left on mat leave. She really is a talented actress.
Hope did well showing support for her husband and for Steffy. I thought it said a lot about the relationship she has with Brooke that she didn’t understand why Steffy would need to be away from home for a bit to heal and spend time focusing on her bairns.
She is co-CEO of Forrester which keeps her busy on its own.
Ridge was making me laugh with the pickle ball stuff. He and Taylor were so relaxed together… it was lovely to see them just supporting their daughter and each other.
Hope's relationship with Brooke is very different indeed, Bbfan. Loved Ridge taking Taylor back to his place to just take some time for themselves and be there for each other.
Li will never give up on Finn. Even when they find their bones in an excavation. When Steffy and the kids leave, is there a third old flame, or what will Liam do if there isn't someone to fight about?
I've only ever seen photos of Liam and Finn at Steffy's home. These are the only 2 men that she has ever truly loved. As for Liam, with the way Hope looked at Thomas today, Liam may soon have his hands full trying to stay relevant to his wife. I wonder who he would have sex with when he again witnesses Hope sharing a kiss with Thomas (for real this time)?
If we had a drinking game every time Steffy said "Finn is gone"... We'd be dead. Seriously what happened to that show?! It wasn't so long ago when those characters had dynamic story lines and dialogues which don't make you want to vomit. MD, since bell jnr took over from his dad, the show has gone to shit!! It all repetitive sl’s and dialogue, nothing but sex and betrayal.. there’s supposed to b 9 writers for the show, and if 9 people can only come up with the crap they do, something is really wrong.. the actors must also b getting tired of their scripts.. they probably get, skim over it and oh, same shit as yesterday or last month.. they r so underutilising these characters and they r just plain lazy.. they know the talent they r lucky enough to have.. they r going to start losing the good characters if they don’t get their acts together.. what happened to the fashion shows and spectra ?? i hadn't realized someone took over writing but i have been watching since it debut and it has seemed different. it seems they are doing the same story lines as years ago and they drag things out it seems forever like one day last week was literally almost a week long..i hope finn gets better tells his mom thanks for keeping him alive but hes going to steffy and i hope steffy lets li have it for not telling her does she really think that finn would respond to her over steffy..come on...and i would also give li a thing or two about having him supposibly cremated and already spread the ashes..who was she to have that done and not even tell steffy about it and why does no one wonder where she is living at
Yes. Bell Jr. is at the helm now. A piss poor replacement for his father, Bell Sr. The show has been dropping in ratings and, I believe, this is why he has started bringing back these previous characters like Sheila, Deacon, Taylor and Bridget. I also believe this is why he is trying to revive this silly Taylor/Ridge/Brooke triangle. Kudos to all the actors for hanging in there and playing their roles with the utmost of professionalism. The only storyline I'm interested in, atm, is Carter and Quinn. And I want to see Finn and Steffy reunited.
Ashrpblond, Li is trying to keep Finn alive. At the moment Steffy think he is dead. I think Li is waiting to tell Steffy to see if Finn recovers, otherwise Steffy will be going through a second loss again. Li also kept him away from everyone before they knew who the killer was, to protect him. Li is doing what any mother would have done if given the chance. Luckily she is a doctor, so she knows what she is doing. I don't think Finn will be angry at Li, hell, she is saving him. Finn has a good heart, he will understand. If it wasn't for Li, he would never ever see Steffy or his son again, and Steffy would never be able to have her husband back. I just hope Liam isn't coming between them before Steffy finds out Finn is alive. I hope Finn wakes up now and when he recovers, he goes after Steffy, or someone should just call her when they find out, and tell her to come home ASAP!
Malin, I would agree with you about Li if it wasn't for the fact that she told Steffy that she had Finn cremated and could not even divulge his final resting place to Steffy when she asked her what she did with Finn's ashes. That is cruel, imo. That was also the perfect time to let Steffy know that Finn was not really dead since Steffy would have already told her that Sheila was the one that shot Finn and that she is now behind bars for her crimes.
Li is blaming the Forresters for what happened to Finn. I don't think she intends to tell them anything at all. Finn will have to try to get to Steffy on his own as I do not believe (and I could be wrong) that Li would want him to reunite with her.
MD he needs reminding because since Hope had Beth and they got her back, he’s basically ignored Kelly. Hope and Brooke demanded that he give all his time and attention to Beth and Douglas ( who has a father who is very much in his life). Honestly Brooke and Hope like to forget that Liam was married with a daughter when Hope got pregnant with Beth and demanded he leave Steffy and Kelly and be with her and their child.
Finn was more a father to her than Liam has been in years sadly. He’s just stepped up in the last few weeks. So yes, he definitely needs to be reminded that his daughter needs her father and he needs to take an active role in her life.

TK, the actor who plays Ridge, did an interview saying he wanted to take an entire year sabbatical from the show to take family to Germany. He wants them to know their roots and have time to bond with them. There has been speculation whether there will be a temporary recast or how B&B will handle it. Obviously the pandemic prevented that from happening before, so fans are still wondering when that will occur and how it impact the story arcs.
I wonder will they bring Nick back and have a three way tug o war between Taylor, Brooke and Bridget?? Or?? Maybe they finally bring a fresh character on to fill the void.
Lynn, the actor that plays ridge is definitely taking a years senatocal from the show to go and travel to Germany and spend some quality family time.. not sure how it’s going to pan out on the show?? Lynn, I recall some of us stating that we hope that Liam does not try to get back with Steffy and we were quite adamant that he needs to go home to Hope and leave Steffy alone. The talk about how much Liam loves Steffy and always runs to her was simply to state that this is how Liam usually operates. But many of us were against a Steffy/Liam reunion and even spoke a lot about the possibility of Finn being alive and reuniting with Steffy.
And Bbfan is correct. There were Steffy haters (I can think of at least 3 off the top of my head) who stated that Steffy will try to railroad Hope's marriage so that she can have Liam back for herself.
There is one Steffy hater that literally makes snarky comments about Steffy getting her ex husband back on a daily basis. You all said, Liam will move in on Steffy now that Finn is out of the picture. And I will say it again….THAT DID NOT HAPPEN AND YOU WERE ALL STRAIGHT UP WRONG!!! So quit trying to bob and weave by talking about the 30 years of episodes I missed. That has ZERO to do with your projections of what was going to happen in today’s world. YOU WERE WRONG!! Steffy is gone, and Liam did NOTHING to try to get her back. And that’s because he chooses HOPE!!!!!
