Brooke also got not-so-hot-looking anymore wearing teen-age style clothes. I'm waiting for her tramp-stamp to show through, a little stretched sideways. Ridge is Brooke's 'have to get guy' the way Liam is Steffy's. She looks like a spider about to pounce on him. She's gonna wait until proper time has passed, (at least a week, or he buys her crying as attractive.) this is just as game for Steffy and Brooke, get their respective prey away from someone else. Taylor and Hope are the hapless nitwits who hang on as hard as they can. Taylor has been away, c'mon there had to be some dapper guys out there.

Honestly, Deacon adores her and would be fully devoted to her. With all the flashbacks Brooke had, including how much she loved him, when he first showed up… she still has very strong feelings for Deacon. I think she’s tempted and Ridge was very clear… see you at the office, goodbye.
I know some will laugh and say Ridge said they need time as parents, they do but they are also close friends… something he and Brooke never were… it was always all about sex.

Spot on, BBfan! And I agree with you. Brooke will be better off with Deacon. He adores her! And of course, Ridge and Taylor need time together. Their daughter was victim to a horrific crime and lost her husband in the process. I am sure their hearts are breaking for her. As parents, they need to support each other. And Brooke cannot come in and play the "he's still my husband" card. She gave up any rights she had as Ridge's wife when she vehemently chose to have Deacon in their lives against her husband's wishes. She showed no compassion or understanding for Ridge so she cannot use that excuse about him being her husband anymore. And, as Colly has pointed out (which I did not observe before), Ridge even took off his wedding ring.
@Elizabeth You can take Brooke out of the valley but you cannot take the valley out of Brooke! She likes to think that she is in control of everything and everyone. Every single time she makes a "mistake," Ridge forgives her and moves on. But how many times must he do that? Even he's tired of it now. And with Taylor being back and showing him that he does not have to accept Brooke's behaviour, Ridge is motivated more than ever to not return to a marriage where happiness is fleeting and only for a moment until Brooke messes up again.
His face today said so much. She waltzes in making demands like she owns the place and telling Ridge what to do again… fake concerns for Steffy… like Ridge and Taylor forgot her horrid behaviour at the hospital?? I know it's TV and I know the actress playing Donna is playing a role but OMG. REALLY? Standing posed for a whole conversation in her skivvies and an off-the-shoulder overcoat? Tina, to be fair, Brooke has her strengths. She can assign blame to anyone, at the drop of a hat, for all of her life's mistakes. She can pretend to be a caring stepmom to her husband's kids (although I believe that Ridge doesn't buy it one bit). And she's very good at garnering sympathy from everyone around her by crying out of that one eye while pretending to take full responsibility (but somehow still managing to blame someone else). Ridge surely won the jackpot when he landed her as a wife!
I believe that Quinn will get wise to Eric's deception really soon as well. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

Say what you will about the Logan women, but apparently their husbands / lovers agree that good sex is a key component to a healthy relationship. The “buddy relationships” they have with Quinn and Taylor do not cut it when the Forrester men consider their life partners. The Donna / Quinn ending remains to be seen, but you can tell Eric loves his time with Donna. And I’m rooting for Donna over Quinn because I can’t stand Quinn.
I have a feeling that Carter will soon propose to Paris even though he doesn't love her.....then Eric will tell Quinn about Donna and he wants a divorce but it will be then too late for Quinn and Carter to get back together again.
I sure hope that it won't be too late and that Quinn reaches the altar on time to stop the wedding. It would serve Paris right since she stopped Quinn and Eric's vow renewal. And I would LOVE to see Quinn and Carter declare their love for each other right there and then.

Colly, nothing about my story is changing. He has not “chosen Taylor”. If he were to say the words “I love you” to Taylor and it was clear he meant it in a romantic way, then I will admit I was wrong. But I don’t see that happening. All the flashback scenes Brooke had when Deacon resurfaces included her telling him she loved him. She was living in the moment there making love etc. She already has love for him… she always did! That is why she was so cross with him, why she pretends he seduced her , took advantage of her etc… she was hurt he didn’t want to stay and raise Hope together.

Ridge loves Brooke, no doubt. But he has come to the realization that he is not and will never be her priority because there will always be another man. Then, more recently, Deacon enters the picture and Brooke chose to go against Ridge's wishes to keep Deacon out of their lives. I totally agree! I've always thought Ridge was an ass. He loves having women fight over him. And let's not start with all the conniving that Steffy did to get Liam an then acts like Hope stole him from her when it was the other way around. She has wanted every man that Hope has been interested in just like her mama has with Brooke. Taylor was involved with every Forester man, slept with James, Brooke's dad and her son, married Nick, married Whip...like really? Everyone seems to forget that Brooke raised those kids in her absence and now those ungrateful asses treat her like dirt. I can see why Ronn Moss left the show and I wish KKL and John McCook would do the same. These story lines are complete trash - terrible writers. I watch a couple of times each week and am astonished with the liberties the writers take....never considering the history from previous storylines. I'm not a huge fan of Brooke's but she's no worse than anyone else on the show with all the bedhopping I've seen since the show started in 1987.

H2, if you’ve watched from the beggining, you would know how much ridged loved and wanted Taylor.. and u would know how many times brook tried to manipulate ridge into leaving Taylor, faking a pregnancies misscarages riding in on horses to stop him marrying Taylor, manipulating Taylor into staying dead after Taylor got shot protecting brook, and I remember a very comical scene where brook tried to seduce ridge while he was married to Taylor, and he refused brook, and turned to walk away from her, so while wrapped in a towel, she threw herself on the ground and wrapped her arms around ridges ankles and he was walking away dragging her with him 🤣🤣🤣, real classy and mature, and something Taylor would never do.. ever since bell junior took over, he re wrote history and came up with this destiny crap.. and the only reason Taylor shot bill, was because at the time, she thought he sexually assaulted steffy when she was drunk.. if I thought someone did that to my daughter I would have made sure he was dead.. so sorry, but attention to detail when it comes to history!!

Lynn, Brooke tried to convince Taylor not to tell Ridge that she was alive because during the time that Taylor was missing, Ridge and Brooke got together. Brooke was afraid that if Ridge found out that Taylor was alive, he would leave her to go back to Taylor so even though Brooke knew Taylor was alive, she did not let Ridge know. Instead, she paid Taylor a visit and told her to "stay dead." Taylor revealed herself to Ridge anyway in spite of Brooke trying to get her to keep quiet. Brooke even wanted Taylor to leave LA and start a new life afresh elsewhere.

In case you didn't realize, Ridge and Brooke are currently estranged. He moved out of HER house and took off his wedding ring. He also told Brooke that he needs space. He does not want to have a discussion about their marriage no matter how many times Brooke tried to talk to him. She's been running him (and Taylor) down all over town, blowing up his phone with calls and texts and Ridge has not responded. And after Ridge told her about Sheila, he again told her that it doesn't change anything because her drinking was not the problem, it's Deacon. So no, Brooke has NO rights except to respect her husband's wishes.
And you're right, Ridge is not considering divorce at the moment because despite everything, he still loves Brooke. However, she still needs to LISTEN to Ridge. It was her inability to listen to her husband's concerns about Deacon that landed them in this mess. And if Ridge does decide to go back to her, she needs to learn to listen to him because she will stand to lose him all over again.
By the way, Taylor is the mother of 3 of Ridge's children. She is hardly an outsider.

You forgot the part where he said "I'm asking you to understand." Then he told her that he will see her at the office. Ridge was not pleased about any of the things that Brooke said about Steffy and that she didn't fall of the planet. In Ridge's eyes, it showed a lack of compassion on Brooke's part. That's why he sked her to understand and to leave him and Taylor alone.
Brooke is getting desperate to the point where she is being careless with the things that she says. Her true colors are showing and it's plain as day to Ridge.
I’ve already said multiple times that Ridge handled that situation at Eric’s horribly. But what I’m also saying is the confrontation at Eric’s house DOES NOT equate to Ridge choosing to love Taylor. He loves Brooke and will want to be with Brooke. The interaction at Eric’s was just to throw us off. Sometimes the writers do that. But nothing has changed. Ridge loves Brooke.
Lynn, you never said that Ridge handled the situation horribly. Your entire rhetoric was about Brooke walking out and about Taylor being desperate. Nothing about Ridge.
That said, nobody has said that Ridge chose to love or be with Taylor in the future. It was said that Ridge chose to spend his time with Taylor in that moment rather than with Brooke. It was also said, based on the conversation Ridge had with Taylor after, that it SEEMS like Ridge MIGHT be falling for Taylor again and that we THINK that that's exactly what MIGHT happen.
When Ridge said, I'll see you at the office, Brooke should have made herself scarce and moved on. (Brooke would know that's no threat, they only go to work to eavesdrop on everyone else. They only pretend to work until the possiblity of storming out is available.) It wasn't good for Taylor either. Her damsel in distress giggly schoolgirl cling-wrap neediness isn't cute. Watching her over- laugh at a fortune cookie message was cringe-making. Desperation smells from miles away. Ridge stayed because he couldn't think of anywhere else to go. Colly, I am loving the fact that Ridge is standing his ground in wanting time to think about things. His facial expressions towards Brooke and the seriousness in his tone when he spoke to her, clearly showed that he is not being tolerant of Brooke's utterances and desire for control in their current situation. And I do not give him wrong.
After Brooke kissed Bill, he quickly forgave her then heard her telling Bill that she will always love him. And after Brooke's stellar behaviour when she told Ridge that this was her house and Deacon is welcomed at any time, Ridge has realized that he has to seriously consider what his future with Brooke would be like. I'm glad that Taylor told him that he needs time to think about things rather than them rushing into something when Ridge still clearly loves Brooke. And that is what he probably appreciates most about her.

I also get that you do not like the things that are said about Brooke and you somehow feel that it is your absolute duty to say things about Taylor as some sort of rebuff - and you are free to do that but, you don't have to get technical or literal with every single thing that is said or done on the show just to prove a point or justify your utterances. You have to read between the lines as well. The fact is that Ridge immediately sought Taylor out after he left Brooke and not because, as I said above, he wanted to just cuddle with her. If Taylor had not set those boundaries for Ridge about him not being allowed to run to her because he is having issues in his marriage to Brooke, they would have already slept together. I agree that Donna is acting horribly. I am not a Donna fan. She needs to find some young hot dude and they can go off into the sunset together. I don’t like her current relationship with Eric. Not because I feel badly for Quinn, because Quinn is trash. But because two wrongs don’t make a right. And Eric is being dishonest. And Donna knows better than to think what they are doing is OK.
I actually like Donna. However, I hate how they are writing her as this blond bimbo who has no sense. Donna was totally against coming between Eric and Quinn despite how she felt about Eric. Well Donna is a big girl and is capable of making decisions for herself. They gave us no backstory on how Eric and Donna ended up sleeping together again. I think Quinn deserves everything she gets. But that doesn’t mean I condone Donna’s behavior. Donna knows better than to get caught in that web.
I think Donna is tired of seeing her sisters successful and living the high road and she is sick of sitting back babysitting kids.. she want the high life, and she is manipulating Eric big time.. He kicked Brooke out on her behind in favor of having dinner with Taylor and while doing that, he decided to mention that he is afraid that Taylor will leave him and he doesn't want that because she makes him better. Yeah, sure, he wants alone time from all the women in his life. He sure had a funny way of showing it since Brooke was the only one that he asked to leave. Lol.
Don’t get too excited because he wanted to finish eating his Chinese food. While Taylor thinks showering Ridge with food and flattery will affect his feelings for her, it won’t. It’s all gonna backfire for Taylor and she is gonna be made to look like the fool who got jilted, again. But she’s used to losing to Brooke, so most likely it won’t come as a shock to her. Won’t be good for Taylor’s ego, however.
Lynn, HE DID move out and said he needs time to think.. just because he moved out of steffies, doesn’t mean he has changed his mind.. he took his wedding ring off when he was kissing Taylor, and hasn’t put it back on!! and she turned him down.. she could have slept with him, many times by now, but hasn’t.. if it were brook, she would have had him bed quick as a bullet.. she encouraged ridge to go to Eric’s.. she didn’t try and begg him to stay or go back to steffies.. she could have easily manipulated him into staying because of steffy but didn’t.. she is spending time with him because, in case u didn’t hear what ridge said, their family is going through a major trauma.. it’s only natural to spend time together after what they have been through.. why can’t u understand that?? Ridge has been to hell and back, and all brook has done is make life difficult for him.. did you see the look on ridges face when brook said steffy didn’t drop of the face of the earth, and especially when she she said now there gone he can focus on her?? Did u miss that?? Taylor is not pressuring ridge in anyway.. she has been understanding and all brook has done is beg and beg and beg and pressure him.. I think he was pretty damn clear when he said he needs time and space and “see u at the office”, and I am pretty damn sure it wasn’t the Chinese food, but if that’s how u want to look at because brooks ego just took a BIG hit, go ahead 🤣🤣🤣

Brooke is a character, played by Katherine Kelly Lang, who is a wonderful actress. I do love that KKL , Kimberlain Brown (Sheila), Jacqueline MacInnes Woods (Steffy) and Krista Allen (Taylor) are such good mates in real life! They do make brilliant onscreen nemesis!

Tina, to be fair, Brooke has her strengths. She can assign blame to anyone, at the drop of a hat, for all of her life's mistakes. She can pretend to be a caring stepmom to her husband's kids (although I believe that Ridge doesn't buy it one bit). And she's very good at garnering sympathy from everyone around her by crying out of that one eye while pretending to take full responsibility (but somehow still managing to blame someone else). Ridge surely won the jackpot when he landed her as a wife!

DeleteRidge loves Brooke, no doubt. But he has come to the realization that he is not and will never be her priority because there will always be another man. It wasn't too long ago that he overheard her tell Bill that she will always love him. Then, more recently, Deacon enters the picture and Brooke chose to go against Ridge's wishes to keep Deacon out of their lives. Ridge is finally taking a serious look at what his future would be like if he was to stay married to Brooke.
I totally agree! I've always thought Ridge was an ass. He loves having women fight over him. He has made so many promises to Brooke saying this is the last time we'll be apart and I'll love you forever. Every time she has been happy with someone else he barges in to ruin it. He always wants her and Taylor hanging on waiting for him to choose one or the other. At their age, I don't get why either would want him. Look at how many times in the past that he has left Taylor at the altar for Brooke. He's had ample opportunity to be with Taylor and has never chosen to do so.

It's like the writers expect us to forget all the crazy ass sh*t she, Thomas and Steffy have done over the years to the Logans. Taylor is an alcoholic too and clearly has some mental issues as well. She shot Bill and got away with it. She constantly placates her son no matter what crazy sh*t he does since the time he was a teenager. He tried to kill Rick by blowing up his car and was planning to set his house on fire. He became obsessed with Brooke and then her daughter, and then teams up with Sheila to keep her secret. Proof that he is in need of more therapy and that the brain tumor was not the only reason for his insane behavior. It's also interesting that they all know that Thomas was in cahoots with Sheila and knew what she did but no one wants to share that information with Brooke, Hope or Liam. WTF! He's still in Hope's face trying to run Liam down behind his back so he can have her. And let's not start with all the conniving that Steffy did to get Liam an then acts like Hope stole him from her when it was the other way around. She even walked around wearing the engagement ring that Liam bought for hope. What woman wants another woman's engagement ring??! She has wanted every man that Hope has been interested in just like her mama has with Brooke. Taylor was involved with every Forester man, slept with James, Brooke's dad and her son, married Nick, married Whip...like really? Everyone seems to forget that Brooke raised those kids in her absence and now those ungrateful asses treat her like dirt. I guess they think this new younger Taylor is suppose to completely wipe out all the history from the original Taylor. Same applies to this new Ridge. I can see why Ronn Moss left the show and I wish KKL and John McCook would do the same. These story lines are complete trash - terrible writers. I watch a couple of times each week and am astonished with the liberties the writers take....never considering the history from previous storylines. I'm not a huge fan of Brooke's but she's no worse than anyone else on the show with all the bedhopping I've seen since the show started in 1987.

DeleteH2, if you’ve watched from the beggining, you would know how much ridged loved and wanted Taylor.. and u would know how many times brook tried to manipulate ridge into leaving Taylor, faking a pregnancies misscarages riding in on horses to stop him marrying Taylor, manipulating Taylor into staying dead after Taylor got shot protecting brook, and I remember a very comical scene where brook tried to seduce ridge while he was married to Taylor, and he refused brook, and turned to walk away from her, so while wrapped in a towel, she threw herself on the ground and wrapped her arms around ridges ankles and he was walking away dragging her with him 🤣🤣🤣, real classy and mature, and something Taylor would never do.. ever since bell junior took over, he re wrote history and came up with this destiny crap.. and the only reason Taylor shot bill, was because at the time, she thought he sexually assaulted steffy when she was drunk.. if I thought someone did that to my daughter I would have made sure he was dead.. so sorry, but attention to detail when it comes to history!!

Lynn, Brooke tried to convince Taylor not to tell Ridge that she was alive because during the time that Taylor was missing, Ridge and Brooke got together. Brooke was afraid that if Ridge found out that Taylor was alive, he would leave her to go back to Taylor so even though Brooke knew Taylor was alive, she did not let Ridge know. Instead, she paid Taylor a visit and told her to "stay dead." Taylor revealed herself to Ridge anyway in spite of Brooke trying to get her to keep quiet. Brooke even wanted Taylor to leave LA and start a new life afresh elsewhere.

DeleteIn case you didn't realize, Ridge and Brooke are currently estranged. He moved out of HER house and took off his wedding ring. He also told Brooke that he needs space. He does not want to have a discussion about their marriage no matter how many times Brooke tried to talk to him. She's been running him (and Taylor) down all over town, blowing up his phone with calls and texts and Ridge has not responded. And after Ridge told her about Sheila, he again told her that it doesn't change anything because her drinking was not the problem, it's Deacon. So no, Brooke has NO rights except to respect her husband's wishes.
DeleteAnd you're right, Ridge is not considering divorce at the moment because despite everything, he still loves Brooke. However, she still needs to LISTEN to Ridge. It was her inability to listen to her husband's concerns about Deacon that landed them in this mess. By the way, Taylor is the mother of 3 of Ridge's children. She is hardly an outsider.

Ridge was not pleased about any of the things that Brooke said about Steffy and that she didn't fall of the planet. In Ridge's eyes, it showed a lack of compassion on Brooke's part. That's why he sked her to understand and to leave him and Taylor alone.

His facial expressions towards Brooke and the seriousness in his tone when he spoke to her, clearly showed that he is not being tolerant of Brooke's utterances and desire for control in their current situation. DeleteAfter Brooke kissed Bill, he quickly forgave her then heard her telling Bill that she will always love him. And after Brooke's stellar behaviour when she told Ridge that this was her house and Deacon is welcomed at any time, Ridge has realized that he has to seriously consider what his future with Brooke would be like. I'm glad that Taylor told him that he needs time to think about things rather than them rushing into something when Ridge still clearly loves Brooke. And that is what he probably appreciates most about her.

I also get that you do not like the things that are said about Brooke and you somehow feel that it is your absolute duty to say things about Taylor as some sort of rebuff - and you are free to do that but, you don't have to get technical or literal with every single thing that is said or done on the show just to prove a point or justify your utterances. You have to read between the lines as well. The fact is that Ridge immediately sought Taylor out after he left Brooke and not because, as I said above, he wanted to just cuddle with her. If Taylor had not set those boundaries for Ridge about him not being allowed to run to her because he is having issues in his marriage to Brooke, they would have already slept together. But whether you like it or not, Taylor is not that kind of woman. She never has been. And the things that are said about Brooke are not baseless but are based on years of history. And I can assure you that since you clearly do not like the flirting that Taylor is doing right now with Ridge, if you were to look at Brooke's behaviour over the last 30+ years, you definitly would not like it either. Although I have a feeling you may try to justify it.
Colly, Lynn is being totally ridiculous because she feels that it is her job to bring Taylor down because she does not like the things that are said about Brooke. And if she has to make things up or rewrite the script or ignore key information to do so, she will.

I wonder if she realizes that Eric only owns minority shares in Forrester because after she took half of his shares and sold it to Bill, Bill gave them back to Steffy making Ridge and Steffy the major shareholders? I wonder if she also knows that Eric recently told Ridge that the mansion is his after he's gone. Donna doesn't have a lot to get from Eric when he kicks the bucket.

Last we knew Donna was getting fired from Forrester Creations because Quinn was crazy jealous that Donna was getting Quinn’s husband’s motor running, but that Quinn herself could not. I think Quinn deserves everything she gets. But that doesn’t mean I condone Donna’s behavior. Donna knows better than to get caught in that web.

No ladies, that’s not what it meant when Ridge moved out. If he had moved out of his home with Brooke, and said I need time to think….then I would agree with you. But he MOVED OUT OF STEFFY’S when he said he needed to move to Eric’s to get alone time. If he simply wanted alone time away from Brooke, there would have been ZERO reason for him to leave Steffy’s house where Taylor was living. What he meant was - HE WANTED ALONE TIME FROM ALL THE WOMEN IN HIS LIFE. This isn’t rocket science.
