Elle, I am glad we agree. But what I will say is that Taylor is setting herself up for heartbreak again. Even if Brooke walks away from Ridge, he will never love and devote himself to Taylor like he has with Brooke. We all know it’s true. Taylor is seriously fooling herself if she believes Ridge is gonna swoon over her. If she wants to continue with the one sided effort, that’s up to her. But she is in for a rude awakening if she believes she is Ridge’s new “destiny.”
I truly do not believe that Taylor thinks she is Ridge's destiny. They had a wonderful relationship for many years and raised a family together and, I believe, that she is just enjoying reliving that special bond that they had. And you can see that Ridge enjoys it as well. He is the one that keeps running to her or calling or texting her, bringing her coffee, making her breakfast etc. It's just the nature of their relationship.
Maybe Ridge will return to Brooke and Taylor will be heartbroken. But if Ridge falls in love with Taylor all over again, I won't be surprised. You can see how much he enjoys being around her.

Ridge is loving being around Taylor. What does it matter whether he touched her first or not? Ridge has showed up unannounced at Taylor's office just to talk and to bring her coffee. He has brought her breakfast in bed and just sat there and watched her sleep until she woke up. He calls her to his office or texts her to come over more times than she has showed up on her own. And Ridge has draped himself all over her on more than one occasion. They are both enjoying being with each other.

Brooke became very irritated at Ridge and laid down the law to him about how it is going to be. This is her house and Deacon is welcomed there. Brooke did not try to understand Ridge's point of view and she totally disregarded the boundaries that Ridge tried to implement where Deacon was concerned.

Colly, you are correct! Ever since Deacon returned, he has been singing Brooke's praises and she has been lapping it up. NEVER ONCE has Brooke told Deacon that he was being inappropriate rather, she encouraged it. It's only after Ridge left her that, all of a sudden, Deacon shouldn't be saying the things he's saying or "we cannot be seen together" or he is banned from coming to HER house. Brooke could have instituted those boundaries with Deacon from the start but she didn't. And when Ridge was trying to implement them, she shut him down. Brooke is no innocent here. Even if Brooke walks away from Ridge, he will never love and devote himself to Taylor like he has with Brooke. We all know it’s true. Taylor is seriously fooling herself if she believes Ridge is gonna swoon over her. If she wants to continue with the one sided effort, that’s up to her. But she is in for a rude awakening if she believes she is Ridge’s new “destiny.”
DeleteI truly do not believe that Taylor thinks she is Ridge's destiny. They had a wonderful relationship for many years and raised a family together and, I believe, that she is just enjoying reliving that special bond that they had. And you can see that Ridge enjoys it as well. He is the one that keeps running to her or calling or texting her, bringing her coffee, making her breakfast etc. It's just the nature of their relationship.

He has brought her breakfast in bed and just sat there and watched her sleep until she woke up. He calls her to his office or texts her to come over more times than she has showed up on her own. And Ridge has draped himself all over her on more than one occasion. They are both enjoying being with each other.

Brooke became very irritated at Ridge and laid down the law to him about how it is going to be. This is her house and Deacon is welcomed there. Brooke did not try to understand Ridge's point of view and she totally disregarded the boundaries that Ridge tried to implement where Deacon was concerned.

Colly, you are correct! Ever since Deacon returned, he has been singing Brooke's praises and she has been lapping it up. NEVER ONCE has Brooke told Deacon that he was being inappropriate rather, she encouraged it. It's only after Ridge left her that, all of a sudden, Deacon shouldn't be saying the things he's saying or "we cannot be seen together" or he is banned from coming to HER house. Brooke could have instituted those boundaries with Deacon from the start but she didn't. And when Ridge was trying to implement them, she shut him down. Brooke is no innocent here. She actively encouraged Deacon by putting him above Ridge and welcoming him freely into the home she shared with her husband, even on NYE when her husband was not there. Ridge is also actively encouraging Taylor by running after her, calling her, texting her etc. Brooke cannot be upset now.
