Ridge and Brooke enter a room oh we must kiss! We're soooo romantic! At the grocery store we kiss at the end of every aisle. Found the spaghetti- we must kiss! They hope someone buys this, it's exhausting being so much in love! How come the stock guy brought geritol and dentu-creme & depends? We didn't ask for them. How did they know? Huh mystery.
ReplyDeletei was thinking the same thing. seems like all people do at work is make out; ridge & brooke, luna & rj, thomas & hope....the writers are boring.

DeleteWhether a professional or not; very different when in the situation. Same when people victimize the person in an abusive relationship for not leaving or that person returns. If you’ve not been in the situation you will never understand the gravity of it especially if you are a healthcare professional.
DeleteI'm just saying if Finn can't get these images out of his mind, he needs some help. He couldn't take a nap. He couldn't relax on the sofa with his wife. He cannot stop staring at that spot on the floor and imagining what he thinks happened. Next that will be happening while he's driving and at work.

Finn wasn't even at the house when everything went down yet, he is more traumatized than Steffy! He wasn't this traumatized when Kelly almost died at his hands. Hmph!
DeleteExactly Elle. I agree with above comments by Brenda and Forever. He can't sleep, relax or really give Steffy any support. He wasn't there, and hallucinating about the way things might have happened. But being a doctor he is use to seeing traumatizing things most people can't imagine if you're not a doctor. He should realize he needs help. Hmph..😂😂😂

DeleteWell if Sheila really is dead?? Then she is haunting him!! But i have a feeling she is still lurking somewhere like usual.. I think Finn’s biggest issue other than she was “his birth mother”, is that he wasn’t there to prevent it from happening.. Subconsciously he is feeling guilt that he waited for that phone call and if he didn’t he would have been home to protect Steffy AND stop Sheila without it coming to what it did.. And it’s funny that in his hallucinations, Sheila is dressed like a vampire!!
DeleteYes it is Lynn, and he's really struggling with that. But being a doctor and not coping with it, he should know he needs help. But this is all a Segway to have a SL with Hope & Finn, Liam & Steffy etc. It just gets boring afterawhile. Could be wrong but the more they drag this out, the more boring it's getting.

DeleteD - yes, I think we pretty much all agree that’s where it’s headed. And yes, it’s definitely boring….but mostly just repetitive every single episode. They always drag everything out. The only thing they didn’t drag out was the Shiela breaking in and getting stabbed episode. They wrapped that one up pretty quickly. Much to all of our surprise! Lol.
DeleteAnd I do agree that Finn could use some counseling after this ordeal. But both Steffy and Ridge seem to think he should be all better already. I wish Steffy would suggest some therapy for Finn instead of trying to “be close” so quickly.
Lynn, in soaptime, it only happened the night before, so it’s still very very fresh and raw.. Finn stayed at the hospital the night it happened, and this is the following night.. So it has only just happened.. And I don’t think Steffy thinks he should be better already.. I think she has and is still being extremely understanding, but trying to remind him that she didn’t mean for what happened, and is trying to remind him of their family and marriage and she is also scared he is going to run out on her again.. Ridge, yes, he thinks Finn should not even grieve at all and is being very insensitive, because he can’t understand how Finn could feel anything for Sheila, given the past and the fact he barely had anything to do with her, which I can also understand..

DeleteColly, yes I agree, it just happened. That’s why I’m saying Steffy shouldn’t try to be “close” with Finn so soon. She is wanting them to connect (have sex) and he just isn’t ready yet. He needs time. And I think as much as Steffy says she is trying to understand what Finn is going through, she won’t have patience for too long. And Ridge already thinks Finn should be tip top! Ridge is ridiculous.
DeleteD, the vampire look, it was more so, the beginning of the dream Finn had, when it Showed Sheila first walking in towards Steffy past the kitchen bench, her outfit reminded me of Twilight movie vibes, and that movie with Brad Pitt and Tom cruise!! I think that was intensional lol
DeleteColly, my commenting on the writers “dragging it out” wasn’t referring to the actual time that has passed. I just meant they are saying the exact same things over and over to each other during the episodes. They barely switch up the dialogue at all. But that’s all too typical.
DeleteLynn I agree about the sex, but this show, it seems the solution for everything is sex lol.. But Steffy needs comfort from her husband and I don’t think it’s unreasonable for her to expect or want that after what she went through.. Finn is acting like he was there and witnessed it all and seems to be more traumatised than her, which is unrealistic… but I thinks it’s to lead towards an ongoing issues and the hope there for him and Liam there for Steffy thing, because it’s just not realistic otherwise..

DeleteLadies, I think the reason why Ridge might expect Finn to be more supportive toward Steffy and why Steffy might just want them to move on from the horror of it all is because they do not yet understand what is going on in Finn's mind. It's as I said before. Finn was not even at the house when everything went down. It is totally absurb that he is this affected by the death of his bio mom, especially after she tried to kill him and his wife!
DeleteAlso, weren't the last words he said to her before her untimely death were to stay away from him, his wife and his family? And hasn't he told Steffy numerous times that he will protect her from Sheila (not his mom)?
Now, all of a sudden, "You killed my mom, Steffy." Wth? It's outlandish that he is this affected by the death of a woman he knew nothing of until about 2 years ago. So yes, Ridge and Steffy cannot fathom that he would be feeling this way about Sheila. Steffy is the one that went through yet another traumatic experience of Sheila trying to harm her. Finn needs to man up and be there for his wife and family.
Totally agree Elle!! It is absurd.. You would think he was the victim.. Steffy would be the one having nightmares and flashbacks, and need consoling, not Finn.. yes I get he is feeling some sort of loss and grief, but this is rediculous.. The writers really are a joke!!

Yes, that was rather strange?? Talk about obsessive over someone else’s marriage!! I believe Hope means well, but this is a fair bit over the top!! It’s like it’s all she can think about, and you would think she is the one traumatised 🤣🤣🤣

DeleteD, just like they expect Finn to be this traumatised, more so than Steffy when he wasn’t even there to see it 🤣🤣🤣 And that his grief for Sheila, a woman he barely knew or spent any time with who shot him and his wife, kept him held hostage, is far greater than his concern for his wife whom she tried to kill AGAIN, and then places the blame on his wife for having to defend herself and can’t even look at her to begin with.. So believable, writers!! 🤦♀️ Yes I can understand to certain extent him feeling some sort of sadness over her death, but this?? Come on!! 🤦♀️ lol

Yes I agree wesa and Elle.. I thought she was really dead this time to begin with, but then thought, why make a big deal of her meeting someone in her past, and someone mentioned Sugar, the prison gaurd who had plastic surgery to look exactly like Sheila, and that’s probably who it was.. And like you just said Elle, Sheila usually has a lot more to say before killing someone!! She likes to remind them why she is killing them!!
DeleteThe thing that had me most confused, was when whoever it was lunged at Steffy, they said the word No, and ahhh, as she lunged and it sounded exactly like Sheila’s voice, unless it was just a detail the writers forgot, or purposely put there to make the viewers believe she is dead?? But it was definitely her voice, if you go back and rewatch, you will see what I mean!!
Donna is babysitting again. I guess the honeymoon 🍯🌛 with Honey 🍯 Bear 🐻 is over!
