I don’t like the way Steffy is behaving, but EVERYONE thought Hope was using Thomas to begin with, and that’s what Steffy is pointing out.. I don’t like Steffy’s approach, but this relationship has always been one sided and Hope always made it about her!! Not once has she considered Thomas or how he feels, just what he gives her and makes her feel!! Steffy is the only one who has had the guts to say it out loud and to Hopes face!! Ridge is right about some things: "if you have to talk someone into loving you it's never gonna work". But I do love his face when saying how much he loves Brooke ðĨ° it's like TK really means it. Brooke is amazingly classy not bringing up all the disrespectful crap Steffy said about her, she only thinks of Hope. It's interesting that she thinks Thomas should have stayed. A few months ago she'd be driving him to the airport herself ð Mmysh is right about her - when she thinks her daughter loves someone, she's not pushing for Liam just for the sake of it but accepts (albeit reluctantly).
Hope should remember that Steffy encouraged Thomas to move, but he was ending it with Hope anyway. Steffy is a sad wrecking ball indeed but she didn't break them up. Yet her calling Hope slut... Should we walk down "random Steffy slutness" lane? Because it's much longer.

I have repeatedly said on this blog that the only character I absolutely love and will always defend is Thomas. Everyone else, I go along with whatever storyline they're in. If Steffy is good, I'll praise her. If not, I won't. If Brooke is good, I'll praise her too. If not, I won't. I've also said that Brooke isn't even my least favorite when it came to the Logans, that would be Katie. I've also said a number of times that I used to hate Hope but ever since AN took over the role, I've liked the character a lot more. And I've said this long before anything even started remotely happening between Hope and Thomas.
DeleteI think the confusion might have occurred because I've also always stated that I never liked Liam and Hope together and felt that he always loved Steffy more. However, that wasn't because I was a FF (y'all just threw me in there), it was because that's how I saw it. Liam has left Hope to run back to Steffy so many times. But anyway, I think that's where the confusion came in.

There are fans on here that are LFs or FFs and they will stay fixed in their respective camps, defending their faves to the death and getting upset when negative things are said about them, such as Brooke being called the sftv. I am not that type of fan. I'm a fan of the show first and foremost as I've watched it with my mom ever since I was a young girl. I'm then a fan of Thomas. Everyone else is fair game. I neither emphatically support nor don't support them.
Elle I too seemed to be labelled a FF when I have said multiple times I'm neither a FF or LF. Just a fan of BB. It all depends on the SL at the time and the how the character is being portrayed.

What was that? I’m a Forrester fan however they are damn pathetic at times. Sure I am not sure if Douglas got to say goodbye to Beth and how that went. It will be a challenge for both of them being physically apart. They can video chat. We don’t know how long this will be. Unfortunately those 2 kids don’t either. That’s who I’m worried about. Douglas is being separated from his mom as well. That is also going to impact him.
DeleteAbsolutely Thomas can take Douglas I feel as he is the biological dad but no matter the circumstances of the arguments that go back & forth of the adoption Hope is his mom. She had like 1 minute notice. Douglas had some information that Hope just let him tell him like a good mom and listened. I’m sure she would have discussed at an appropriate time if she had time with him still. Now he is going with feelings that are very complicated.
Very glad Brooke will support her. I’m thinking there is going to be potential issues with Brooke and Ridge over this.

ReplyDeleteThe irony in all of this is that Hope & Thomas were married briefly back in 2019 in the Forrester living room. Steffy highly approved & was Hope's maid of honor. I re-watched the episode last night. The marriage seemed to be happening so Hope could be Douglas' Mom. At the time, Steffy was Mom to Kelly & Phoebe (Beth). Right before Hope was about to say "I do", Phoebe (Beth) crawled up to Hope & said, "mama, mama" in sweet baby talk. Of course, Hope had no idea it was her daughter calling her mama. But, Thomas did.

ReplyDeleteYes, Steffy should have never interfered in Thomas & Hope's relationship. It is demeaning to Thomas that his sister spews hate on the mother of his child. The implication being that Thomas is not man enough to set the record straight, so his sister does it for him claiming she is protecting him. The truth is Thomas would never say the things to Hope that Steffy said today because that is not how he feels about her. Thomas even tried to reign Steffy in by saying I can't have you talking to Hope like that.

DeleteSteffy and Hope however, haven't always been enemies. Matter of fact, they were quite civil and even friendly with each other for a long time. She even showed concern for Hope when Thomas came back to HFTF, frequently checking in with her to ensure that Thomas was behaving himself. So this supposed hatred is coming off more like Steffy being mean and - - tchy rather than genuine concern for Thomas.

Steffy flips when she learns of the memorial service Deacon is planning for Sheila.

DeleteFinn and Hope bonding might not turn out the way most people think it would. Given Finn's feelings for his bio mother, he is in a place now where he might be more understanding about Hope's feelings for Thomas. He might even be upset with his wife for her interference in Hope's life and would encourage Hope to go after Thomas.
Finn will probably confront Steffy after Hope tells him what happened with Thomas.
DeleteIt is strange that Deputy Chief Baker hasn't returned to question Steffy regarding Shelia's death in Steffy's house. It is like case closed without an investigation.
Steffy should be so busy meeting with her attorney verifying her self-defense case for slicing open her mother-in-law is solid that she has no time to be a "sad human wrecking ball".
Renee, the case would be what is called "an open and shut" case. Mainly because it would have been determined by the forensics team that Sheila did, in fact break in (door tampering - since we saw Steffy make sure that the door was locked several times). Also, the law supports a person protecting their person and property when there is an intruder/trespasser. Steffy had a right to protect herself from Sheila when she broke in. Steffy would have also asked Sheila to leave a few times before Sheila lunged at her. Self-defense would stand even if they were to learn that Steffy told Sheila she wished she was dead. Now, if Steffy had gone to Deacon's and killed Sheila there, even if Sheila lunged at Steffy and she retaliated in self-defense, Steffy would then have to prove her claim of self defense for the reason that she went to Sheila's home and had previously stated that she wished Sheila was dead.
DeleteElle, at the very least, there should have been an investigation where Steffy was questioned. The body was removed & hazmat cleaned up. The end...
DeleteActually ladies, Chief Baker said Steffy would be asked additional questions at a later time. And he was letting her know as a courtesy. I think that whole thing will pick back up again before too long. Remember, even though we’ve seen weeks of episodes since Sheila was killed, it’s really only been a few short days! ðððð

DeleteI somehow don't believe that there will be any outcome to Sheila's "death" rather than what happens with Finn and Hope. It seems that all these seemingly big (criminal) cases are only placed to develop the relationships between Steffy, Liam, Hope, Finn and Thomas. Same as with Emma. Until Sheila comes back as actually having tricked them yet again, I think that will be it about her.
