Steffy isn’t looking for a new husband. In fact she was a single mum doing it all on her own for while when she met Finn. Hope and Brooke are the ones who can’t be without a man for 5 seconds! She didn’t steal Liam from Hope. Liam pursued Steffy and Hope wasn’t even a distant thought. Liam and Steffy were happily married for years before Hope came back from Italy to take advantage of their marital issues orchestrated by Bill!!!
It was fun seeing the Spencer lads back together. Wyatt is fun. I think Bill will make another play for Brooke etc etc.
Taylor is better off without Ridge. He is like Liam and can never make up his mind. They let Brooke and Hope think for them, it’s easier to rationalize their boring lives that way. If Ridge and Taylor do not reunite, I wouldn't be mad but, at the same time, I would also like for them to have another shot. They were magical together in the past. Nothing Brooke did could come between them.
I think Taylor and Steffy's musings about how Ridge and Taylor enjoy each other's company and how Ridge wakes up half an hour earlier just to make Taylor coffee were accolades to how great they are together. Whether it would lead to them reuniting is left to be seen.
What I am sure about is that Ridge is a different person now than when he left Brooke previously. A lot has happened in his family that might have changed his priorities as well as his feelings for Taylor and Brooke.
Yes, Brooke decided not telling Ridge about the kiss between her and Deacon was the best course of action because of Ridge’s very strong feelings about Deacon. She chose not to open up what she considered to be a huge can of worms. But the way you all talk, you treat it like Brooke was having some ongoing affair. It was one drunken kiss, and she had ZERO intentions of repeating those actions once she was sober. So yeah, covering it up may not have been the best idea. But it was a kiss, not a screw, and it was never ever going to happen again. So let’s dial it back on the outrage you are feeling towards Brooke. She clearly put Steffy first in the conversation with Ridge today. Ridge kept bringing up what Shiela did to Brooke and how Brooke was a victim. So Ridge was keeping the focus on the Brooke attack from crazy Sheila. At this point, I honestly don’t care who Ridge chooses. It’s ridiculous that 2 very attractive women are even fighting over him. He is not worth fighting over. So we’ll see how this plays out.
And near as I can tell, Liam is still not choosing Steffy. Again, we’ll have to wait and see. But after he left the morning after Steffy came back from hospital, he hasn’t been back over there. Of course it may only be hours cuz of soap opera time. But it’s been many episodes without Liam at Steffy’s side.
It is the same day because steffy and Taylor were wearing those clothes in the morning, when Liam stayed there.. steffy was wearing that tracksuit when she came out and found Liam and kelly in the couch.. Taylor and ridge walked with breakfast just before Liam left, and Taylor had that outfit on..
Why it’s so confusing is because hope and brook changed their clothes and hair.. plus after all the barking hope did about wanting Liam home since all started and now she gets her first night home with him and goes on a girls night out 🤣🤣 the producers r lazy when it comes to the fire details.. but it’s now evening of the same day, it’s just a lot had happened..
It’s sad when your husband has to thank you for being concerned for his daughter, despite how terrible this all is for brook?? And “of course” brook is going to say she is concerned for steffy, which is a big turn around, which is probably what prompted ridges surprise at the concern brook suddenly has for steffy, because brook now sees that steffy is partly in this position for defending her, so it won’t look good if she brook doesn’t respond to that question the way she did..
I don’t want ridge with Taylor, because he has put her through hell going back and forth.. they r making it appear as though he is going to go back to brook, but he won’t, not yet anyway.. he promised Taylor he would stand by her through caring for steffy while she is going through all of this.. he can’t b there fully for steffy and Taylor if goes home to brook because he knows how needy she is.. he made a very strong point to brook in the hospital when she was begging him to come and not go back to steffy’s and Taylor.. he clearly pointed out that when steffy gets home “she is going to need ALL of my attention”.. so it’s not going to happen just yet..

Colly, I feel like I have addressed your specific points and very detailed breakdown of the way everything happened. And I think what you aren’t taking into consideration is that it was a domino effect of events. They are not separate events because they are all connected. One led to the next and so forth. Brooke has said time and time again to multiple people that it was her fault and that she takes full responsibility. But you guys seem to continue to gloss over that fact. As I said earlier, the champagne impaired her judgement. We’ve all been there in real life. And I’m not an alcoholic, so I have no idea how that even figures into the mix. But I would imagine it would only make things worse for the drinker. So we agree that Brooke got drunk and made a bad decision with Deacon. And because of Ridge’s very strong animosity towards Deacon, and Brooke’s past romantic history with Deacon, Brooke decided it was only a kiss, it will never happen again. Brooke thought…I was drunk and made a very bad decision, so best just to keep this under wraps rather than upset Ridge who most likely won’t understand. So at the point when she made the decision to keep it a secret, there was no turning back. Then it later became known that Douglas had witnessed the kiss, so Brooke panicked and told Douglas to forget about it. The past is in the past she told him. So the same lie continued. So as I said, the events were all connected and stemmed from the kiss that drunken night. As far as Deacon, and Brooke defending Deacon…the only reason she did that is because when she walked into the room where they were fighting, Ridge was attacking Deacon and Deacon was in self-preservation mode because he CHOSE not to kick Ridge’s butt. We all know with his black belt training, he could have easily whooped Ridge in no time. So Brooke walks in and sees Ridge pounding on Deacon. So her reaction was to stop the beating. It wouldn’t have mattered who the one getting beat up was, Brooke came to the defense of the person who was getting pounded on. That’s actually a normal human response. So even though you guys like to point out what “Ridge is really upset about”, they are all very much interrelated. Not individual separate events.
Lynn, you forget that Brooke took Hope's side of having Deacon in her life over Ridge's feelings about the matter. Her "defense" of Deacon was long before she drank and kissed Deacon. Ridge told her that welcoming Deacon into their lives would cause trouble for and be the end of them. Brooke did not listen. Even when Ridge told Hope that she will have to move off the property and Hope, along with her husband, both agreed to do so, Brooke was having none of it. She laid down the law with Ridge and basically said that he had to accept Deacon being a part of their lives and in their home. She totally disregarded how he felt about the situation.
So when the drinking incident happened, Ridge viewed it as par for the course since he had already told her that Deaocn would cause problems for them. And he did. Sheila may have manipulated the situation but, guess what? If Deacon was not around, there would have been noone for Brooke to kiss. Sheila made Brooke drink but she did not make her kiss Deacon. Even if the kiss was a result of Brooke being intoxicated, Brooke could have asked Deacon to leave. She had just finished speaking to Ridge about him not being able to come home, Out of respect for her husband, she should have asked Deacon to leave. Instead, she decided to pull out the vodka.
Now that Brooke knows what made her drink that night, she needs to ask herself why she asked Deacon to stay (which led to the kiss) after Ridge told her that he could not make it home. Was she just looking for a drinking buddy and Deacon was there so "let's live it up." Or was it something more than made her ask Deacon to stay?
You are correct, I didn’t mention the fact that Brooke supported Deacon staying in Hope’s life and that included coming by the house sometimes. Brooke wanted her daughter to have a relationship with her dad. And Brooke had no inappropriate intentions with regard to Deacon.

I have watched the actress who plays Sheila from when she started on Young and the Restless, and the evil woman has never been able to stay in an institution or jail for long, she always as a way of coming back. Both soap operas are keeping her alive and always trying to cook up new evil things for her to do. As much as I would love for her to stay in jail, she won't, its a matter of time when she will come back.

OP, in a previous blog doubted that Steffy would tell Ridge and Taylor the truth about Sheila switching the labels suggesting that Steffy would not be that magnanimous. However, Steffy did not hesitate to tell the truth and OP now has another issue with her telling the truth. Seems it's damned if Steffy does, damned if she doesn't.
Additionally, Steffy may not have gone to Ridge with the truth, but she went to Finn and he found it hard to believe. There is no way of knowing that Ridge would have believed Steffy if she went to him first. And even if Ridge did believe her and they both went to confront Sheila, who's to say that both Ridge and Steffy would not have been shot and left for dead just like Finn and Steffy were shot and left for dead?
As for Li, she deserves nothing from Steffy. She did not even go to see her daughter in law while she was at the hospital, nor has she been to see her since she returned home. Dearest Li, grandmother to Hayes, has not even been to see her grandson or offer any assistance whatsoever. Li will know whenever Steffy decides to let her know.
Li was totally off-putting to everyone in the hospital. A lot of mean looks and side-eye. If they had no relationship before, it isn't likely to suddenly materialize now. Li might be judging Steffy harshly that this was her fault. Li may have had to work for what she had and might see the trust fund brat with honorary CEO job, and convenient husbands on speed dial, as unworthy. Some people see rich people as worthy due to the money, others don't. Steffy didn't miss a beat to jump back in with all the self-righteous indignatioin she musters at the drop of a name. Maybe Li has seen her act. NEXT! Also even oblivious Ridge should see Brooke's sudden concern for Steffy is just her agenda for "winning" Ridge back. This is about beating Taylor at their little game, and that's all she cares about.
For the record, Steffy had to earn her position at Forrester. Unlike Hope, who was just handed a fashion line as a teenager because she was a Logan.
Steffy and Thomas both started out working in the mailroom at Forrester, just like Ridge and Thorne did. It’s Forrester family tradition that the children work their way up and learn all about the company, get a university education then join the company and earn their way!!! Steffy and Thomas have both done that in their respective areas.
Brooke’s brats didn’t have to do it… Rick went to Uni too but he demanded to be made CEO because he was Eric’s son and ran Forrester into the ground very quickly. Zende started as a photographer and then transitioned to the design team. Thorne got out of logistics and is designing at international as well as his own label.

Finn will probably turn up alive at some point. Since one Jack wasnt at the hospital after the shooting and there has been no funeral or memorial, They are probably waiting until Shelia is lock up behind bars before we find out Finn is alive. There has been some speculation on Finn still being alive and that Jack and Li are taking care of him.
I know but it's just strange that she claims she loves her husband so much, didn't ask to see his body nor what happened to it. His parents, who don't have any rights, took his body and haven't told the family ANYTHING about any arrangements for Finn and they are all okay with that rubbish!

Even with hope, pointing it out, she keeps going back to that excuse.. she was sober enough at the time to remember kissing deacon, but in her own words she let it happen.. she could have pulled away and sent him home, but she didn’t.. so she can’t even blame the kiss itself on alcohol.. if she can remember it, she could have stopped it, but she continues to say if she didn’t drink it wouldn’t have happened..
So basically, every person on the planet can blame alcohol for their actions?? Even when they are not drunk enough to not know what they were doing, so anyone can say that it wasn’t their fault cause they had alcohol in their system?? Brook can try and justify it all she wants..
Colly, I feel like I have addressed your specific points and very detailed breakdown of the way everything happened. And I think what you aren’t taking into consideration is that it was a domino effect of events. They are not separate events because they are all connected. One led to the next and so forth.
DeleteBrooke has said time and time again to multiple people that it was her fault and that she takes full responsibility. But you guys seem to continue to gloss over that fact.
As I said earlier, the champagne impaired her judgement. We’ve all been there in real life. And I’m not an alcoholic, so I have no idea how that even figures into the mix. But I would imagine it would only make things worse for the drinker.
So we agree that Brooke got drunk and made a bad decision with Deacon. And because of Ridge’s very strong animosity towards Deacon, and Brooke’s past romantic history with Deacon, Brooke decided it was only a kiss, it will never happen again. Brooke thought…I was drunk and made a very bad decision, so best just to keep this under wraps rather than upset Ridge who most likely won’t understand. So at the point when she made the decision to keep it a secret, there was no turning back. Then it later became known that Douglas had witnessed the kiss, so Brooke panicked and told Douglas to forget about it. The past is in the past she told him. So the same lie continued.
So as I said, the events were all connected and stemmed from the kiss that drunken night. As far as Deacon, and Brooke defending Deacon…the only reason she did that is because when she walked into the room where they were fighting, Ridge was attacking Deacon and Deacon was in self-preservation mode because he CHOSE not to kick Ridge’s butt. We all know with his black belt training, he could have easily whooped Ridge in no time. So Brooke walks in and sees Ridge pounding on Deacon. So her reaction was to stop the beating. It wouldn’t have mattered who the one getting beat up was, Brooke came to the defense of the person who was getting pounded on. That’s actually a normal human response. So even though you guys like to point out what “Ridge is really upset about”, they are all very much interrelated. Not individual separate events.
Lynn, you forget that Brooke took Hope's side of having Deacon in her life over Ridge's feelings about the matter. Her "defense" of Deacon was long before she drank and kissed Deacon. Ridge told her that welcoming Deacon into their lives would cause trouble for and be the end of them. Brooke did not listen. Even when Ridge told Hope that she will have to move off the property and Hope, along with her husband, both agreed to do so, Brooke was having none of it. She laid down the law with Ridge and basically said that he had to accept Deacon being a part of their lives and in their home. She totally disregarded how he felt about the situation.
DeleteSo when the drinking incident happened, Ridge viewed it as par for the course since he had already told her that Deaocn would cause problems for them. And he did. Sheila may have manipulated the situation but, guess what? If Deacon was not around, there would have been noone for Brooke to kiss. Sheila made Brooke drink but she did not make her kiss Deacon. Even if the kiss was a result of Brooke being intoxicated, Brooke could have asked Deacon to leave. She had just finished speaking to Ridge about him not being able to come home, Out of respect for her husband, she should have asked Deacon to leave. Instead, she decided to pull out the vodka.
Now that Brooke knows what made her drink that night, she needs to ask herself why she asked Deacon to stay (which led to the kiss) after Ridge told her that he could not make it home. Was she just looking for a drinking buddy and Deacon was there so "let's live it up." Or was it something more than made her ask Deacon to stay?
You are correct, I didn’t mention the fact that Brooke supported Deacon staying in Hope’s life and that included coming by the house sometimes. Brooke wanted her daughter to have a relationship with her dad. And Brooke had no inappropriate intentions with regard to Deacon.

DeleteI have watched the actress who plays Sheila from when she started on Young and the Restless, and the evil woman has never been able to stay in an institution or jail for long, she always as a way of coming back. Both soap operas are keeping her alive and always trying to cook up new evil things for her to do. As much as I would love for her to stay in jail, she won't, its a matter of time when she will come back.

DeleteAs for Li, she deserves nothing from Steffy. She did not even go to see her daughter in law while she was at the hospital, nor has she been to see her since she returned home. Dearest Li, grandmother to Hayes, has not even been to see her grandson or offer any assistance whatsoever. Li will know whenever Steffy decides to let her know.
Li was totally off-putting to everyone in the hospital. A lot of mean looks and side-eye. If they had no relationship before, it isn't likely to suddenly materialize now. Li might be judging Steffy harshly that this was her fault. Li may have had to work for what she had and might see the trust fund brat with honorary CEO job, and convenient husbands on speed dial, as unworthy. Some people see rich people as worthy due to the money, others don't. Steffy didn't miss a beat to jump back in with all the self-righteous indignatioin she musters at the drop of a name. Maybe Li has seen her act. NEXT!

It’s Forrester family tradition that the children work their way up and learn all about the company, get a university education then join the company and earn their way!!! Steffy and Thomas have both done that in their respective areas.
Brooke’s brats didn’t have to do it… Rick went to Uni too but he demanded to be made CEO because he was Eric’s son and ran Forrester into the ground very quickly. Zende started as a photographer and then transitioned to the design team. Thorne got out of logistics and is designing at international as well as his own label.

Since one Jack wasnt at the hospital after the shooting and there has been no funeral or memorial, They are probably waiting until Shelia is lock up behind bars before we find out Finn is alive. There has been some speculation on Finn still being alive and that Jack and Li are taking care of him.
