No one ever locks their doors on that show which only goes to prove what kind of dumbbell writers they have. Not to mention the fact where's all the security that they were supposed to have? If they thought she was so dangerous then why don't they have a gun and check with their security is rich as they all are supposed to be and double lock their doors with alarms on them. He has had a firsthand view of how many times Brooke has betrayed his father yet, Ridge cannot seem to comprehend that Thomas just wanted to see him happy. Hi Milla! 🤗🤗🤗 I absolutely agree it was high time Thomas came back. At one point during the table discussion after Brooke had admonished him, I seemed to catch that old familiar evil eye he shot at her. It’s gonna be the “Thomas Revenge Tour” for sure!! I’m not wanting him ousted from the show, not at all!! I just want him ousted from FC, at least for a good long while. I’ve always maintained that everyone will be and should be furious with him for what he did. His ego is so incredibly bruised right now and he deserves it!! But ultimately, Ridge will forgive him…that I’m sure of. Just like I’m sure Ridge and Brooke will at some point get back together. 😔😔😔 I think this ousting from FC could put Thomas on a whole new course of destruction. Your guess is as good as mine on the Sheila thing. Sheila needs a mental ward more than a prison cell if she honestly believes she is going to plead her case to Finn and Steffy!!! I’m ready to see Shelia get her guts splattered all over the wall with a huge shot gun! But doubt that will happen. Oh yeah the Thomas actor is a master and his facial expressions were perfect to show us what he really feels and thinks. And I know I know you don't want him ousted I never imagined you would 😀😀 we all enjoy his shenanigans while also believing he should be punished for them. I absolutely believe that he'll go on a destructive path too. Brooke and Ridge will at some point reunite, there's too much history for the writers to let go to waste when they can fill hours and hours of show time with the fountain scene, the lying in bed throwing rose petals scene etc. Far be it from them to show any other of their moments or make sth new when they have these scenes for copy and paste.

When he was married to Taylor, when she was "dead" and he was with Brooke - when was he not "there" for him as a child?! Exactly Hilary! So glad you realize it too. Thomas was never left alone as a kid - first Taylor and Ridge were solid parents and then Brooke and Ridge raised him and the twins when Taylor "died". Then Taylor returned from the dead and Thomas was already an adult when she and Ridge split up finally. But of course the idea is to blame Ridge (and essentially Brooke) for everything wrong with Thomas.
Pretty good acting today by Annika Noelle. On a separate note, the company is Forrester Creations and if you are going to let go of and humiliate a Forrester, only Forresters (Blood or adopted) should be at the table. No outsiders should witness that!!

I’m about ready to stop watching this poorly written one-sided garbage. There has got to be something better we can do for 19 minutes plus commercials five days a week.
I think everyone at the meeting was on the board. Because, at some point, it was stated that everyone agreed, even Steffy. The implication being that they voted.
Exactly - the board members voted - it was unanimous - and he’s out! It was a company management decision. It wasn’t a decision to oust him from the ‘family.’ If he were be ostracized from his family, then yes, that would have been a “private family matter”. That was not the case here. Thomas made complete fools of everyone! It’s absolutely time for his comeuppance at FC!!
It was stupid. First of all, the Board would have already had a meeting without Thomas to decide on his fate. Second of all, nothing Thomas did affected the company's operations or financial standing. Thirdly, what Thomas did was directed at his father and Brooke to break them up for good. This was a family matter and should have been handled as such. Thomas betrayed his father, and by extension, his family. As such, that's where it should have stayed with Ridge and Steffy letting him know what the Board decided.
Companies are within their rights to hire and fire as they see fit. Not only was what Thomas did morally reprehensible, but it was against the law. There was nothing unique about Thomas being fired in that situation. He deserved to be fired, and he was fired. The details about how that happens are at the discretion of the company.
Also, what he did is not just a family matter. He committed FRAUD, which is a punishable crime. He also made a false report to a government office that wasted resources. That absolutely takes it beyond a family matter
I can also follow the reasoning of the firing - you have an employee who acted maliciously and illegally and for the umpteenth time. His actions involved the CEO and board member. If USA employment law required any sort of reasoning (which it doesn't, like Lynn pointed out) there's plenty.
Since after all brook still the bad person for some, i wish she reported him to the authorities and let us see than how its a family matter will work out, but in the end brook would never do such thing

The business had nothing to do with what Thomas did.. he is a very important and successful money earner for the business, and his actions did not affect the forrester from a business standpoint.. I think it was completely unfair to oust him out of forrester creations.. if hope doesn’t want anything to do with him going forward, so be it, he stays away from her, and continues on another line..
I also thought at first the same and would be even upset he was fired if there wasn’t one very important factor - this was the n-th time he has done something criminal. If he kills a person, this still wouldn’t affect the company money-wise but he will most certainly be fired, at least in a normal company. It’s not only money companies look for, also safety for the employees, integrity, image - all affected by having someone who shows such high level of maliciousness on the team. An employee is not only the product they produce. And for one I’m glad nepotism finally wasn’t s factor in this business decision.

But she certainly made her entrance like one of those "OK Corral" scenes. Ousting Thomas from the company was a bit harsh. There were other options such as demoting him, maybe even some involuntary leave without pay, but complete dismissal? It's just not good business sense. And I'm surprised Carter went along with it.
After the Quinn affair when Eric wanted Quinn out of the company, Carter reminded Eric about what they stood to lose by letting her jewelry line go. They have said over and over again that Thomas is the best designer they have and they just had a very successful preview where Thomas received accolades for his exceptional work. How do they think the media would react to him being let go? Carter, I'm disappointed in him going along with this. But I guess he's pro-Logan now and Brooke is Katie's sister.

I'm so over Sheila. What's with her walking into Finn and Steffy's like she owns the place? Is she going to finish the job by making sure they're dead this time? Oh and Brooke’s dress for the Christmas episode looked AMAZING on her!! That was a really nice holiday episode with all the Logan women at Eric’s!!

DeleteI absolutely agree it was high time Thomas came back. At one point during the table discussion after Brooke had admonished him, I seemed to catch that old familiar evil eye he shot at her. It’s gonna be the “Thomas Revenge Tour” for sure!! I’m not wanting him ousted from the show, not at all!! I just want him ousted from FC, at least for a good long while. I’ve always maintained that everyone will be and should be furious with him for what he did. His ego is so incredibly bruised right now and he deserves it!! But ultimately, Ridge will forgive him…that I’m sure of. Just like I’m sure Ridge and Brooke will at some point get back together. 😔😔😔
I think this ousting from FC could put Thomas on a whole new course of destruction.
Your guess is as good as mine on the Sheila thing. Sheila needs a mental ward more than a prison cell if she honestly believes she is going to plead her case to Finn and Steffy!!! I’m ready to see Shelia get her guts splattered all over the wall with a huge shot gun! But doubt that will happen. I think the Sheila story has long since run its course unless she kidnaps Hayes like you mentioned. I’ve been expecting that for months. But still no sign of that taking place. That would make for a decent storyline. A hell of a lot better than seeing one more boring beyond boring Steffy / Finn ‘love scene.’ 🤮🤮🤮
Oh yeah the Thomas actor is a master and his facial expressions were perfect to show us what he really feels and thinks. And I know I know you don't want him ousted I never imagined you would 😀😀 we all enjoy his shenanigans while also believing he should be punished for them. DeleteBrooke and Ridge will at some point reunite, there's too much history for the writers to let go to waste when they can fill hours and hours of show time with the fountain scene, the lying in bed throwing rose petals scene etc. Far be it from them to show any other of their moments or make sth new when they have these scenes for copy and paste.

It would be really hard for the family to forgive him later on though. Hell, what am I saying, it's a soap! He could always claim Sheila brainwashed him 😂 there's lots of great story potential, if they'll just stop rehashing the same garbage and skip over the not sexy love scenes. When he was married to Taylor, when she was "dead" and he was with Brooke - when was he not "there" for him as a child?! This is a perpetuated lie that they are having Ridge believe now for whatever reason. He left Taylor when Thomas was 18+ (he managed to get married to the Spanish girl when Ridge was still with Taylor) so the "kid" part isn't true.

Thomas was never left alone as a kid - first Taylor and Ridge were solid parents and then Brooke and Ridge raised him and the twins when Taylor "died". Then Taylor returned from the dead and Thomas was already an adult when she and Ridge split up finally. But of course the idea is to blame Ridge (and essentially Brooke) for everything wrong with Thomas.

DeleteIt was stupid. First of all, the Board would have already had a meeting without Thomas to decide on his fate. Second of all, nothing Thomas did affected the company's operations or financial standing. Thirdly, what Thomas did was directed at his father and Brooke to break them up for good. This was a family matter and should have been handled as such. Thomas betrayed his father, and by extension, his family. As such, that's where it should have stayed with Ridge and Steffy letting him know what the Board decided.
DeleteCompanies are within their rights to hire and fire as they see fit. Not only was what Thomas did morally reprehensible, but it was against the law. There was nothing unique about Thomas being fired in that situation. He deserved to be fired, and he was fired. The details about how that happens are at the discretion of the company.
DeleteAlso, what he did is not just a family matter. He committed FRAUD, which is a punishable crime. He also made a false report to a government office that wasted resources. That absolutely takes it beyond a family matter
DeleteI can also follow the reasoning of the firing - you have an employee who acted maliciously and illegally and for the umpteenth time. His actions involved the CEO and board member. If USA employment law required any sort of reasoning (which it doesn't, like Lynn pointed out) there's plenty.

DeleteI also thought at first the same and would be even upset he was fired if there wasn’t one very important factor - this was the n-th time he has done something criminal. If he kills a person, this still wouldn’t affect the company money-wise but he will most certainly be fired, at least in a normal company. It’s not only money companies look for, also safety for the employees, integrity, image - all affected by having someone who shows such high level of maliciousness on the team. An employee is not only the product they produce. And for one I’m glad nepotism finally wasn’t s factor in this business decision.

ReplyDeleteOusting Thomas from the company was a bit harsh. There were other options such as demoting him, maybe even some involuntary leave without pay, but complete dismissal? It's just not good business sense. And I'm surprised Carter went along with it.
ReplyDeleteAfter the Quinn affair when Eric wanted Quinn out of the company, Carter reminded Eric about what they stood to lose by letting her jewelry line go. They have said over and over again that Thomas is the best designer they have and they just had a very successful preview where Thomas received accolades for his exceptional work. How do they think the media would react to him being let go? Carter, I'm disappointed in him going along with this. But I guess he's pro-Logan now and Brooke is Katie's sister.
Elle I think you'll agree Carter was thinking with a different part when advocating for Quinn than now 😂 you can't really be disappointed he's not seeing the woman he loved, plus in the affair he caused, with the same eyes as Thomas 😅
