😆🤣😂 Elle … Ronn Moss! Thanks for reminding us of that wooden actor who made Ridge so arrogant. The choice of the former Patrick Thornhart OLTL was a relief after Mr. Moss even though we occasionally catch his German/British accent. Thorsten brings heart and humor. The actor playing Hollis has had bit parts on this soap on and off for years and I don’t notice an improvement. Thank you for the chuckle, Elle. 🤭

I agree BBan at times he's likeable. I really enjoyed the whole Ridge and Bill scenes lately, it was comical. We need more of that but Bill seems to hve gone MIA.

Steffy is being nice and supportive. I may have been wrong to project on her suspicions that she's happy about trouble for Hope and Liam.
Hope is so crushing on Thomas, the actress actually managed to blush ☺️ And knowing women and being one myself, I bet him playing the "we're so great as friends" card makes her want him more 😂🙈 I still hope and believe she won't act on it but hey I'm open to change 😀

The look in Hope’s face when Steffy said Liam was her forever, said loads! I think she’s truly been growing as a person and I don’t doubt she loves Liam. However, it looks like she’s outgrown him and is falling in love with Thomas.

I was surprised she was so bold about it actually. I didn’t think she would vocalise that to Thomas. Not yet anyway.
I appreciated Steffy being so supportive of Hope too, their daughters are half sisters and it’s time they got on.
I think Taylor is pushing Brooke to date, even if it’s casual, because she needs to stay away from Ridge, they both do. Having a new exciting relationship is just what they need to take focus off Ridge and keep it on themselves and moving forward.
I’d love to see them bring a fella on for Taylor too. Ridge can move on with someone totally different and give both women a chance to be in a healthy relationship.
Brooke will always love Ridge but their relationship is toxic. He has let her down. His actions recently especially highlighted that he hasn’t matured at all. He left Brooke and refused to tell he why.
He hurt and used Taylor, lied to her and led her on.
Taylor will always love Ridge but their relationship is also toxic.
I think Brooke and Taylor choosing their self respect and friendship over Ridge is the best for both ladies.
I absolutely adore that top Brooke was wearing today. It’s so lovely and feminine. Perfect for her! Her hair and makeup were gorgeous too!
Hope suits the jewel tones for sure. She’s looking very polished these days. It’s a long way from the table clothes and 60’s suits she used to wear lol. I like the way they are styling her now… very feminine.
Taylor and Steffy were lovely as usual.

Very, very interesting episode we had today. Liam having his insecurity problem talk with Dr. Steffy, Hollis is having his sleepless nights thinking about Brooke baby, that one evening kiss just sent him to the moon 🌕, and Liam having a one on one with Thomas, and last but not least Steffy testing Hope's emotions for Thomas, speechless and lying about her feelings for Thomas. Let us stay tune to see where Hope's emotions for Thomas in the upcoming episodes!

Apropos Taylor, I got tempted and read some "spoilers" that suggest a guy with whom she had a fling overseas will find her in LA. He's apparently even dangerous and obsessed with her 😁 I hope this one is true and brings some much needed thrill to our soap.

She just can't see anyone else, when really, she should. As many times she was with Ridge he has always ended up down the road breaking her heart, she should know that by now especially since she is a psychiatrist, but she is so blinded into just loving that dude and no one else.

Milla, I did not like that last conversation between Steffy and Hope. I did not like it one bit! It seemed a lot like foreshadowing of something to come and I really hope it DOES NOT involve Steffy and Liam being together. The way she said "I will love Finn forever and you will love Liam forever," it made me think that something will happen to break that forever chain. We already know that there might be some troubles for Hope and Liam. I just don't want that to turn into trouble for Finn and Steffy.

Pretty soon everyone will know how Hope feels about Thomas. She is not even trying to hide it. Steffy is talking to her about Liam and every time she mentioned his name, Hope's eyes would shift uncomfortably. Then the "Hope and Liam forever" statement, there was Hope looking at the photo of Thomas. I am sure Steffy must have seen where Hope's gaze went. Hope needs to reel it in! What is going on with her?
Elle those foreshadowings are usually meant to throw us off. I don't think it will be Steffy and Liam again. Did you see how friendzoned /kid-focused they were, not even a long look between them. As long as no tequila comes in play I think they are safe. But who knows! 😅 on the other hand Steffy and Finn haven't had a storyline in forever. Only Sheila angst and makeout sessions (usually the first one as foreplay 😅) maybe something risquee will happen that won't break them up but make stronger.

That Steffy's concern is about the progress that Thomas is making. She doesn't want anyone or anything to interfere with that. And Thomas seems to be doing so well too.

Thomas saying that if Hope comes onto him means that he knows something is up with Hope because up until now, Hope has rejected him many times over. So for him to make a statement like that, he had to have picked up on something. Him saying that to Liam though, would surely make Liam ponder on it.

DeleteThey need to take their time with this Thomas/Hope story. It cannot be rushed. And too many people still see Thomas' past. He has to be completely redeemed and Hope has to be SINGLE before anything can happen between them.
I've always said that Thomas and Hope have been intertwined in each other's lives for so long and have been through so much together. Their love story has to be done properly in order to do justice to their history.

And this SL is actually her hopefully discovering a new side to her she's actually been repressing. So what if she cheats on Waffle? He deserves it, he's done it many times. Delete@lama To be clear (and anyone on here can tell you this), I'm the strongest Thomas supporter there is and I have fought for him pretty darn hard. My reasoning for wanting things to be done right has nothing to do with Hope's image and everything to do with wanting their romantic relationship to be as clean and beautiful as possible. Hope's relationship with Liam is filled with infidelities and I just don't want her relationship with Thomas to start off like that. That's just my preference. You're entitled to yours as well. 😊

Liam didn't force Hope to abort her baby. She was married to Wyatt and pregnant with his child. Liam wanted to be with Hope but she said that she cannot leave Wyatt as she's pregnant with his child. Liam then asked her to abort the child. This is according to the bold and the beautiful wiki page.

He hid out at Bill's for days. So you're right, Liam isn't some paragon of virtue. I really wish Thomas could remind him that he would still be in prison if Thomas didn't speak up.

In her car, Emma thinks of her argument with Thomas. She contemplates phoning Hope but decides against it. Suddenly, another car roars up on her bumper. It runs her car off the road and there are sounds of screeching tires and mangling metal as Emma’s vehicle lands down in a ravine. Thomas exits his car and looks down into the ravine with a satisfied smirk. In the car, Emma appears to die.
And Vinny literally committed suicide by stepping out in front of Bill’s car…because after all, isn’t that what every guy should do for his best friend??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

DeleteNowhere on the show did we ever see Thomas' vehicle make contact with Emma's vehicle bumper and push her off the road. Thomas was always shown a distance behind her. What was shown was Emma on the phone while she kept looking at her rear view mirror at Thomas behind her. Then, she lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road. She was not paying full attention to the road because she was on her phone and kept looking at Thomas behind her.
DeleteThis is why there has been so much debate about this topic because the writers purposely left it up to speculation. I don't know this soaps.com site but I'm pretty sure the information from there is not directly from the writers.
Btw I think I’ve heard later Brooke mention Emma in relation to Thomas and Ridge gaslit her why is she bringing her up. Thomas family knows too, just choose to cover it up. I think it would be really cool if they showed Thomas in a therapy session or at least conversation show some remorse over what happened, that’s still better than the absolutely 0, zilch amount of emotion he showed for causing a young life to be lost.

DeleteMilla, I don't believe that anyone in Thomas' family knows of Thomas following Emma. When the police visited the scene, there was no evidence of another vehicle involved so they ruled her death an accident and that was the end of that.
DeleteIf you visit the Who's Who B&B page, murdering Emma is not listed under Thomas' crimes. Here's what it says under his bio:
"When Xander's ex-girlfriend, Emma Barber, learned that Hope's baby was alive, Thomas tailed Emma down a dark road as she drove to Hope's and watched as Emma's car crashed through a guardrail and rolled down an embankment. Elle I believe what I saw with my eyes, not what is listed under a website. I saw Thomas chase Emma, I saw Thomas show no remorse when he saw her die, he just watched it happen. Even if his car didn’t touch hers, it takes a psychopath not to call 911, not to admit he was chasing her or at the VERY LEAST admit to himself if it wasn’t for him she would be alive. Soap central can write what they want, I believe my eyes and sense of what’s right and what’s psycho.

Milla, noone is saying that Thomas didn't chase Emma or didn't show remorse. I think we can all agree on at least that. My issue was with what Lynn posted about Thomas running into her vehicle and pushing her off the road. That NEVER happened.

Elle I for one can’t separate it in my mind and heart. So having to defend the victim (how she was driving, if she was calling 911) and explain why her death is a result of someone’s chase is still painful. Maybe not with the intensity as if I’d have to explain for a case that actually happened, but on the same spectrum. And I can’t brush it off with "ah it’s a fictional character" when before that I've been dissecting with passion other fictional characters' feelings, potential reasonings, absence or lack of remorse etc. Death is so high above that on the scale of what is significant to me in those shows. You're free to be otherwise, of course.

Some shows are just made like that, for example the show "You", one of my favorites. And I'm not saying Thomas should burn in hell or even go to jail. DeleteI didn’t read them all, but just wanted to say to Elle…the copy and paste I put up does NOT say Thomas actually hit Emma’s car with his car. Reread it, Elle. It says he roared up on her bumper (which we all saw him do) and she panicked and crashed. You have to remember where they were when all this took place. They were on a narrow, windy mountain road at night. They weren’t just driving down a freeway! It’s hard enough to navigate on mountain roads in the dark under normal circumstances, but add being chased in a high speed pursuit to the mix, and things get EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!! Emma would not have been texting 911 if crazy madman Thomas wasn’t putting her life at risk in the first place!! She was driving fast to keep him from catching her, and she crashed as a result of that. Absolutely nothing about this is complicated! Thomas WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR EMMA’S DEATH!!!
Since I live in Southern California, I know the roads here. And if someone was chasing me on a mountain road…especially at night, I would most likely crash too!!
And she was with all of them in the hospital and liam came too with all his differences with thomas back then he didn’t wish him any harm

And when they lost beth despite the grieving she went to visit steffy to check in her and congratulate her with the new baby and she told her there is never be a wrong time to welcome a new baby in the family when steffy felt guilty about adopting while hope and liam lost their baby
But she will prefer her children just like ridge and Taylor or any parent
Brook has so many mistakes but she is so caring and protective person over the people she love and ridge’s family is one of those people

DeleteI could not possibly read through all these comments so I will just say 2 things - one in relation to Thomas and Emma and the other in relation to Milla's post about listing the 4 NOTs:
DeleteEmma had been fiddling with her phone and not paying attention to the road. At one point, she even started texting Hope. That's a surety. During one of those moments while she was fiddling with her phone, she saw Thomas' headlights in her rearview mirror. Another surety. When Thomas went after Emma, he had no intention of murdering her that was shown on our screens. So there goes the murder theory since the crime of murder MUST include malice aforethought. To guess or conclude that he planned to murder Emma when he went after her is just speculation. Emma ran off the road after she saw Thomas' headlights. Not paying attention to the road while driving at high speeds is a recipe for an accident, which is what Emma's unfortunate situtation was. It was not murder, neither was it vehicular manslaughter. And not because certain people say it's murder makes it true, no matter how you may want us to believe it or submit to the idea. If that's how you feel, fine. But please accept it as YOUR BELIEF and not FACT.
Regarding Liam and Steffy and him wanting their family back together during mannequin-gate, when Liam came back to Steffy's place after seeing Thomas and Hope, he was looking at the picture of them on the wall (this was before any heavy drinking started). They started talking about how good they were as a family unit and that, for him, it was significant that she still had the picture up. He went on to say that it was a sign of what was and what could be again. Excuse me, but 'what was' was them being married and raising their family together (which is what they were discussing before). Liam saying 'what could be again' was him saying that he wanted them to be a family again. Mind you, at some point during the discussion, Liam also stated that he knew he had no right to ask this but... "how serious are you and Finn?" Liam was trying to determine the possibility of him and Steffy putting their family back together again. So even if the exact words "I want our family back" were not said, it was most definitely implied. But like everything else, this is my take on the scene and how it played out. And I'm pretty sure, others seeing the scene, and listening to Liam's words, will take it as that as well. Again, you're entitled to your opinion.
Too much to respond to, Elle. But I will say two short things….
Delete1. You have no idea if Thomas wanted Emma dead. He never said he did or didn’t. All we know is that he had a very satisfied grin on his face after she went off the cliff and she was presumed dead. That’s telling if you ask me. And as stated 20 times, no 911 call was made. Why do you think that is, Elle?? Perhaps because Thomas was deathly afraid of being linked to the “accident”?? Please let me know the episode date and I’ll rewatch that scene again to see how accurate your statements are.
2. And as far as Liam saying “And what could be again” when he was looking at the family photo of himself, Steffy and Kelly…I don’t recall him saying that. Please let me know the episode date so I can rewatch. If you have that much detail, you must have taken the time to rewatch the episode.
I didn't read any of the Emma part Elle because like I said, it makes me sick to have to discuss it anymore. And the other was such a stretch 😂 especially considering what he said after the night, without even having heard anything about the mannequin, Liam was horrified for spending the night with Steffy. But we've debunked this already in previous threads so I no longer care.

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit late commenting on today's episode. I just made time to watch it. Despite the acting skills (or lack of) of the actor playing Hollis, he's cute. And he's obviously into Brooke. It feels good to be desired. I think Brooke should continue to hang out with him. Have some fun. I like that Liam went to talk to Thomas man-to-man. I say that should continue. Keep your enemies closer. And, it would be good for Douglas to see his dad and step dad getting along. Nice to have this break from Sheila.

If this character is to develop, an immediate recast is imperative! That monotone voice with the pauses for a breath like he is reading the script. Painful.
