Today was in honor of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), I was surprised even Liam showed up, they too went down memory lane, my favorite part was her riding on a motorcycle on her wedding day, that was WILD! Ridge did however feel disappointed that he couldn't spend some quality time on her birthday. That video birthday card was interesting, my favorite part was seeing Steffy and Stephanie wearing the same suit.

Honestly, I don't get it. Unless the author is circulating backwards to them again.
Tina, it was the 9,000th episode and so it was a special episode. Liam is part of Steffy's past and the father of her daughter, so they just did some montages of them. I don't think it has anything to do with the current storyline.

DeleteLiam did really love Steffy and it wasn’t because she tricked him. He had genuine deep passionate love for her. They were so adventurous as a couple… very different to the sedate life he leads with Hope.
That said, I love Finn and Steffy and I hope they don’t mess with that! He has been so good for her and the bairns. She’s given him so much too… SINN ðĨ°ðĨ°ðĨ°
The montage at the office was lovely… awwww.
Poor Pheobe didn’t even get a mention or a photo. Steffy has to missing her twin on their birthday. I wish they had some photos of them together and Ridge and Taylor had honoured her memory somehow.
BBFan, I think the writers forgot that Steffy is a twin.
DeleteTina, this special 9000th episode was advertised as a stand alone. So I don’t think we should read anything into the current storyline. I’m more interested in if they will write in JMW current pregnancy as an addition to Finn and Steffy’s family or not?

DeleteThey are all much older now with kids, leading completely differrent lives. Finns life with Steffy is equally "sedate" now ð And yes, not showing or mentioning Phoebe was really weird, a mom would never forget her kid and not honor her at least with Ridge.

ReplyDeleteI used to be a big Steam fan at the start of their relationship, so it was nice seeing those flashbacks. Loved seeing her with Stephanie! What a way to celebrate the actress' birthday. I'm sure they had a fabulous after party. Lol.
I was a little worried that Finn was going to walk in just when Steffy & Liam were hugging, and get the wrong idea. We all know how common that is on daytime dramas. I liked Finn's gift. The bells recording. That was thoughtful and sweet. I like him. He's not like super hot, or drop dead gorgeous. But he seems like a good, hardworking, honest guy. And kinda cute too.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed seeing some of the old footage as well. It was so nicely done. Ridge almost looked like he was getting teary-eyed. It was a really nice change.

Mandy, Steffy brought back the cha cha cha. I had totally forgotten about that. I remember how they used to watch old Bob Hope movies and Liam would do the Bob impersonations. They were very cute together.

DeleteGreat episode ! Steffy has always been my favorite, she made me cry so many times,, like when she missed phoebe and almost jump off a balcony, when she lost liam, when she lost her baby after her accident, when hope left with phoebe/beth and this moment when finn found her ! Love my Steffy !
