ReplyDeleteIt was mature of Taylor to acknowledge, “Probably so.” when asked whether she thought R.J. being home could bring Ridge and Brooke back together.
DeleteThomas said that R.J. was big now and almost out of school - it didn’t sound like he was in school so maybe this is the writers’ way of being ambivalent about his age.
I expect RJ to at least try to bring them back together. But I'm sure he won't be even 1/10 annoying/criminal about it of what Steffy and Thomas have been about Taylor and Ridge.

ReplyDeleteI could be wrong here but I think RJ is going to cause trouble for Thomas. There were some hints that I saw, for example, Liam seemingly coming around to what Steffy was saying about Thomas and instead wondering about Hope always forgiving Thomas. Switch to FC and Ridge saying that RJ gets his intelligence from his mom.
ReplyDeleteBack in the day, Brooke used to get up to some tricks of her own to get what she wanted. I am thinking that maybe RJ might lean toward trickery to keep Thomas and Hope apart by fabricating something about Thomas that Liam will get upset about and that Hope will get angry at Thomas for. RJ might justify it as "getting back" at Thomas for what he pulled with the CPS call that led to his parents getting divorced.
Loved the banter between Thomas and Taylor today. Especially loved Thomas showing concern for his mom getting hurt if Ridge and Brooke reunite. Such a sweet moment between them.

ReplyDeleteInteresting, now Liam is concerned there is something on Hope’s side as well. Just like he said in the after he had head staggers in the fitting room. Why does she keep bringing Thomas into her life?? Same as he just said to Steffy… something is coming and it won’t be a good thing for Liam and Hope’s relationship.
I still think she’s outgrown him and is l seriously questioning her marriage.
If yesterdays show was as boring as today's I'm glad I didn't waste any time to watch it.
DeleteElle your prediction could be very plausible. RJ's sudden appearance has to have an agenda. But god Liam's getting on my nerves. He should be discussing all these feelings with Hope not his ex wife.
D, in Liam's defense, he has tried talking with his wife and she just isn't listening to him. Brooke has a new bestie and her son has just returned home, so she has no time to commiserate with her son-in-law. That leaves Steffy. Although, he does have his father and brother so he can talk to them as well. Regarding RJ, I think something is up with him where Thomas is concerned. I am not sure what it is. I can only guess.
DeleteBB, I enjoyed today's show. Thomas and Taylor had a very meaningful discussion and maybe there was some foreshadowing with a possible Ridge/Brooke reunion and Taylor being okay with it. Who knows?
Elle I liked that as well. Thomas shows genuine concern for Taylor.

DeleteHe doesn't have Brooke anymore to cry to. Wyatt is tired of hearing it. Bill is in hero land somewhere, so that leaves Stef, let's cause problems there. Haven't watched every show lately but when I do he's never talking to Hope about his feelings. Now its always Steffy. 🥰
Lol D! Yes, I defended Liam this time. Haha. Because he has indeed tried to explain his feelings to Hope but she lashes back at him or just hears him out and does nothing to assuage his feelings. She continues to work closely with Thomas without any boundaries.
DeleteWink 😉 😉 glad to see you back sarcasm and all 🙂. BBFan is right. Hope is not happy with her marriage to Liam. She was always told he is the best for her, but now I think she's following her heart. It's not some crazy delusional whim that will go away and she'll snap out of it.

DeleteTime will tell. I just believe that Liam is Hope’s one great love. She has told him that sooooo many times. And just like I think Brooke and Ridge will ultimately end up back together (because of the destiny thing and all), I think Hope and Liam are destined to stand the test of time as well.

For sure she will snap out of it, Lynn. I’d love to see then the explanations of all this "she's seriously reconsidering her marriage" and "she's outgrown her marriage" which has been circulating, for which there has been 0 evidence up until now.

DeleteRidge should ease up on pressuring RJ to work at Forrester. Let him do what he wants to do. He sounds like he's been doing okay. Traveling and "influencing". I'm jealous. Liam. OMG! You are becoming so annoying. I like that Steffy said "I know my brother". I think she sees Thomas more clearly and objectively than Taylor. And one more annoying thing about today's episode: Call me old-fashioned, but I thought you knock on someone's door then you wait for someone to come to the door. Or say come in, Liam. 👵👴

ReplyDeleteI don't know their history, but I'm guessing RJ has a major issue with what Thomas did to Brooke with the whole fake CPS call. Thomas seems genuinely sorry. And I wonder if Thomas is worried RJ might be Ridge's favorite. You know, youngest; "the golden boy returns". Thomas is the middle child. They usually have issues.
