    1. Ridge being his characteristic egomaniac self is a true creep for telling people he won. I'd love to see Eric change his will and leave everything to RJ. That would chap a lot of hides around there. Donna was there at the end so she deserves something for her part in trying to keep Eric happy..

    2. I saw some B&B speculation on FB that Eric will ask Donna to marry him before he dies. But we all know much of what we see is false, so who knows…..🀷‍♂️🀷‍♂️. Donna has been extremely devoted and I’m sure she’ll be in Eric’s will. I’ve liked watching the Eric / Donna interaction. I never saw Donna have much of a role on the show before, and I was very pleasantly surprised at what a good actress she is!

    3. I'm sure Donna gets something. And RJ gets much more. RJ is going to be something big at the company. But Eric should leave for his kids so that everyone gets the same. Ten millions for everyone. Why should he leave Ridge just a little bit? Ridge has been running the company so well. He should be grateful for that.

  2. Ridge is certainly making sure EVERYONE knows he actually won
If he truly put his ego aside out of compassion for his dying father, he would have asked Brooke, Carter and Rj to keep it to themselves and let everyone else believe Eric won.
Now, every time poor Eric celebrates his success or gets excited about his “win,” everyone will exchange sad-eyed looks of pity and look at Ridge with the look of “We know you are the superior talent and such a kind man.” Ugh.

If Eric finds every out, he will be humiliated with the fake win and all the pity
the very thing he doesn't wat
Ridge’s good deed just lost its value for me
In my culture good deeds should be secretly
We have a say if did a charity (sacrifice) with your right hand, your left hand should not know about it

    1. Mmysh, true. Not only is it a bad idea that Ridge tell people he won because it makes him seem desperate for people to know it was him that actually won, but also….there's a far greater chance it will eventually get back to Eric that he actually lost. And what an incredible blow that would be for him in his last months of life. Although admittedly, I’m sick of hearing Eric brag as well. And I’m also disappointed in Eric for not telling people about his condition now that the showdown has concluded. Eric is being very selfish not telling people. Even Donna (his biggest fan) was annoyed with Eric today. And rightfully so.
Steffy’s crying over Eric looked very genuine. Great acting, JMW!! And I’m not being sarcastic or snarky here. Lol.

    2. And your saying about the left and right hand is a good one. I think there is actually something in the Bible that references that same verse.

    3. Matthew 6:3-4: But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

    4. Renee very fitting quote. Ridge is being careless and his ego is still showing.
Eric is in denial. When you're in such a state, youre not thinking clearly. He thinks that their pity won't do them or him any good. And certainly worried that Ridge will put him in a hospital and not let him work with the last bits I'd energy he has. If I am in Eric's state of mind (and I'm not saying that I'd be objectively right to think it) but I would think that I'm protecting myself and them.

    5. But yes that constant repetition that he won and taught Ridge a lesson is annoying.

    6. I guess Ridge truly is his father's son after all. All I saw was Eric bragging about being "the driving force behind the couture line, not Ridge."

    7. Agree with all of you ladies
Im also tired of Eric’s bragging
      But also can’t blame him
To know what he knows no one is not in his shoe can understand

And yeah steffy cry was genuine
The actress is so talented and brilliant in her job
And steffy really loves her grandpa
And i got her feelings about her kids growing up knowing eric
I have the same situation with my father may his soul rest in peace
Its devastated that me and my siblings children will not got the chance to know him in person
Only through videos and photos with him
Its a lifetime heartbreak for me

  3. Now Eric wants to do another line based on his success winning the challenge against Ridge. Maybe Ridge should have told Eric the truth. Maybe then he would not be spending what time he has left going to work. If I were Eric and knew I was dying, I would see all my family at least one more time. Then I would travel the world with Donna. See all my favorite places. And places I have always wanted to see.

  5. Even though I think Ridge can be a real ass at times, I really felt for him today and wanted to hug him. I don't agree he was being an egomaniac. It would have been different if he knew his father was dying but he didn't until after the "grand finale". To him it was a competitive competition between two top designers. He's not making sure everyone knows he won. Brooke, RJ and Katie were present when Carter told them who the winner was, and all three were shocked when Ridge told Eric, yes you won' and he did ask them to keep it to themselves. The same when he just told Steffy and Thomas. He wants to protect RJ. They all are in a sad situation. I think if Eric does find out about this, Katie will say she told Brooke who told Ridge etc.

    1. Not sure what Ridge’s true motivation was in telling his kids he actually won, but I did feel bad for him when I saw him tear up as he was hugging Steffy and Thomas. One thing is definitely true….he loves his dad very much.

    2. D, I agree!! I don’t think Ridge is being egotistical at all!! I can’t stand Ridge most of the time, but in this situation I really give him credit.. he is absolutely shattered about losing his father, and even though he told Steffy and Thomas he won, he only did so because they questioned it, and he did say he has never loved and respected his father more than when he told him he won.. in other words, it was nothing for him to lose to his father.. He wasn’t “bragging”.. he showed respect.. I am dissapointed in Erics attitude towards Ridge now, because he just finished saying to Ridge it was never about trying to beat him etc and wanted to put any animosity behind them, then turns around and says the things he did today.. also he is not considering how others feel about his actions today, like Donna.. he said it was his final collection, and now he wants to do an encore?? He should be spending the rest of the short time gathered around his family, enjoying them while he still can.. Donna has been more than supportive and reasonable, and he is not showing any appreciation to her for that, instead questioning her today?? But having said that, I also understand his perspective.. He is not thinking rationally, and doesn’t want to really face the fact that he is dying, despite what he saying.. he doesn’t want to face the families reaction to it either, that’s why he behaving like this.. he thinks if he buries himself in work it will distract him from the reality he doesn’t want to face..

    3. So true Colly about Eric as well. He's in denial and doesn't want to accept his mortality and sees working and keeping busy as a way to cope. He's not thinking of the burden it's putting on anyone right now. I think he will once things progress and he will want the family's support and love. That's if the family doesn't break down first. Steffy's already saying what most of the family will say when they all learn of the prognosis, they'll want to be with him, spend time with him.

    4. Exactly D.. but he doesn’t have long, and I think he might be worried about the whole he “is old and doesn’t work anymore, like the stapler” thing he has in his head.. Once all the family know, which they should know, and they all start coming to him wanting to spend time with him, he will realise every one knows anyway.. as it stands now he doesn’t see the rest of kids rarely, and all of a sudden all at once wants to see or talk to him, he will get suspicious everyone knows.. I just hope he doesn’t get angry with RJ.. RJ did what he asked throughout the challenge, but it’s not fair to expect him to keep a secret this big and devastating!!

    6. Colly, agreed! However, I am finding it hard to feel sympathy for Eric. He's being very ungrateful to those who have had to stand by and watch him get even sicker because of the stress he's taking on himself. Now, he wants to put them through it again. It's selfish and asinine. Eric should be proud of his life's achievements and be happy to hand over the reigns and enjoy the time he has left with those he loves. At this point, I can't wait for him to be gone! His sendoff could have been done much better, in my opinion.

    7. I agree Elle and Colly πŸ˜€ I don't know why is Eric so hard to Ridge sometimes. He has so important being better than Ridge. Why must there be a competition and I think he doesn't respect Ridge. Ridge has been running the company so well for years. He and Steffy saved the company. They worked so hard for that company. Eric is so selfish telling that RJ and Donna must be silent about his condition. Donna wants to spend all the time with him!! He just wants to create. Why can't he thinks that Donna is going to be alone soon.. She wants to take care of him and they could travel to another town and go sightseeing or something.

    8. D, yes he is in denial. He can't think clearly. Maybe he just acts that he's strong and don't think about death πŸ€” And stressing out when he's alone. I'd be like that

    9. Elle I agree love!! He is making it very difficult by the way he is acting that’s for sure!! But at the same time, I can understand.. In my profession, I have seen many many people face death, and everyone deals with it very differently.. In Erics case, he doesn’t want to accept his mortality.. And particularly now he thinks he won the challenge.. He is angry and resentful that he is dying when he feels he still has so much to contribute to the world.. And I think now he knows he hasn’t got much time left, he regrets stepping down when he did, and wants to make up for that lost time while he still can.. there are so many things running through his head at the moment.. It’s all about the what if’s, and I regret that, and why’s!! His behaviour strongly reflects that.. He also doesn’t want to face all the sad faces for the time he has left because that will just compound to him he doesn’t have long, so he is burying his head in the sand and doing what makes him the happiest and is most passionate about, rather than focus on dying.. So I get it’s hard to like what he doing but I can understand it.. If he just had arthritis and couldn’t draw anymore, and was like this, I wouldn’t have the same view, but facing death really really screws with people, because despite what anyone says, most people fear death and the unknown, and we tend to have the unconscious mindset we are invincible and never going to die, till it happens, and when it does, it hits hard and the fear is overwhelming for some people to accept that this is it!!

    10. Patologi, I understand your point, but as I said to Elle, just above, this is why, and Ridge is also part to blame, because his father approached him initially and asked him to design a final collection with him and Ridge completely shut him down, and brushed him off and said he was too busy.. having said that though, Ridge didn’t know Eric was dying, or didn’t have time to wait when he thought it was just arthritis, but instead of telling his father, yes I would love to dad, but can I just get through this first, but again, Eric didn’t have time to wait either, so it was a catch 22 position that both Ridge and Eric were in..

    11. Colly, Ridge didn't just brush Eric off. He also told him that once he completed the current line, then they can do a collection together however, Eric was insistent that it had to be now or never.

I also understand what you are saying about Eric not wanting to face that he is dying however, when he had ED, he did the same thing to Quinn. He kept it a secret and was pushing her away, refusing to be intimate. No matter how many times Quinn asked him to open up to her, he refused. And when he did finally tell her, what did he do? Told her to let another man satisfy her. I really don't think this has anything to do with him not wanting to face his impending fate. He is just stubborn and cares about noone but himself. Donna is pleading with him to take it easy. He sees how affected she is by all this, but does he care? No.

    12. Yes Elle, Eric is selfish now. But he knows that everything must be done right now because he has no time left. Ridge was busy and didn't think how to say the things to Eric. He should made a collection with him maybe later. But that's not nice to say that you should play pickle ball when he wants to create again. He has been away long time, so it should be wonderful when he still wants to work. Ridge don't always think how to say the things. I'll hope there will be no arguing in the rest of his life.

  6. i hope that eric changes his will and leaves everything to Thorne and his daughters and ridge gets nothing after the way he treated his stepdad. ridge has treated eric like dirt for weeks and now he is sucking up to him. same with brogan they are both pathetic arrogant hypocrites it would be fun to see arrogant ridge fall flat on his big fat head for once and not get everything his own way. I have seen somewhere that eric leaves everything to donna but that is the biggest mistake he could make Forrester creations should remain in the forester's hands but with his real son and daughter's. we all saw what happened when the logans had their hands on the Forrester shares. I would love to see ridge beg and plead for everything that he got handed to him because he thinks he's entitled to everything.
