No, Jack is Luna's Daddy. Only the sisters, Poppy & Li know. Why would Finn sleep with his Aunt? Poppy having a child with Jack explains why Li can't stand either one of them. I thought Jack was the Dad months ago, but this show moves slow & they are finally getting back to it...
DeleteI think Jack (Finn's dad) might be her father and Finn will end up being her brother. That would also explain Leigh's attitude towards Poppy. At least that's where I hope this is going.

DeleteBut what I don’t get it is why Li would have been so shocked about Jack’s affair with Sheila?? I mean after Jack slept with her sister, and got pregnant….you’d think Li would have booted his butt to the curb long before the Sheila reveal! That seems like small potatoes compared to her husband having an affair with her sister!!
Well the way they set up the timeline today, it's theoretically possible that Finn could be Luna's father. But if Finn and Poppy slept together and then Poppy ended up pregnant, you'd think Finn would put two and two together and figure out that he could be the daddy. Given that there doesn't seem to be any awkwardness between Finn and Poppy, I kind of doubt there was anything going on there. It makes more sense that Jack would be Luna's father. Was the whole thing with Bill just a red herring for us viewers?
DeleteAgree. I don't think Finn's the type to keep a dark secret like that and stay so calm around Poppy. He would have been really young I would think. He doesn't look old enough to be her father.
DeleteLynn, it could be that Li totally blamed her sister for the affair with her husband. Based on what she told Finn about the colleague Poppy had the affair with, which caused her to be transferred, she has an inner rage for her sister. She would have therefore forgiven Jack much easier for the sake of their family. Finding out that Jack fathered a second child from yet another affair was too much for her to take.
DeleteD, Finn said he had just started college so he would have been late teens going into early adulthood. That's old enough. I just can't wrap my head around Finn being in love with his Aunt Poppy.

Maybe in her culture, divorce is very frowned upon. It still seems like the Sheila thing would have been treated more like a…”Here we go again.” But it didn’t seem that way.
I’m really pretty certain it isn’t Finn who’s Luna’s dad. Like someone pointed out earlier, he wasn’t weird around her at all. Way too normal to be hiding something that dark!
Lynn. Maybe Li doesn't know about the affair with Poppy. The affair with Jack and Sheila she had no clue about, and the hostility is just shame and jealousy that Poppy lived a carefree life while she worked her ass off to do the family proud. Going by age difference with Finn and Luna, the affair with Poppy would have been later in their relationship. Elle Finn would have been late teens, Maybe early 20's and I can't wrap my head around that either, and he acts so cool around his Aunt.
DeleteNot that the writers follow any sort of common logic, but if Li knew about an affair with Jack, wouldn't she throw it directly in Poppy's face? Instead of these generalizations she uses about Poppy wanting "a sugar daddy as always" and all the other vague ways she is attacking her? Still Jack being the father also makes most sense to me. Just think that if Li knew it, she would be even more (if that's possible) vicious towards Poppy.
DeleteI just think the only thing that could justify the amount of venom Li throws Poppy’s way, is something like the knowledge of Jack’s affair with Poppy and subsequent pregnancy. Otherwise, Li is just waaaay out of line. I guess we’ll find out sooner or later. But at least the show today actually gave us something to discuss! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
DeleteJust finished reading Soaps info, and it says Luna is Jack's child. Remember, they finally got to the part where Li said that they were living with Li and Jack. Well, they put a picture of the father in a circle... Jack, the lucky father.

Ren Chen, Liam would put up a huge fight in court before he ever allowed Beth to live in the same house as Thomas.
DeleteLynn, last we saw, Thomas was living in Katie's old house. I guess since Katie isn't getting much air time these days, they had Thomas buy her house. I think the writers are *definitely* building up to Hope accepting the proposal from Thomas. Which is no guarantee that they'll actually get married, but I think they will at least get engaged soon.

Yes, when Brooke walked in on Hope and Thomas in bed that one time, that was Katie's old house. They mentioned very briefly that Thomas had bought the house from Katie. It's cheaper to redecorate an old set than to build a new one, after all. Like how Wyatt's old house (which apparently used to belong to Ridge and Taylor) is now R.J.'s place.
DeleteI would bet that something will happen to stop the Thope wedding, but I don't know what it would be. What could Thomas be arrested for at this point? There's no evidence he did anything wrong regarding Emma's death. And I believe his other nefarious deeds were just manipulating people, which is not actually illegal. All I know is if Hope and Thomas do get married, they better skip the line that says "If anyone knows of a reason why these two should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace."

DeleteElle, with regards to the bed in the master bedroom in Hope's cabin, the only time I remember seeing it was when Hope was so grief stricken over the death of baby Beth that she was spending much time in bed. Liam was extremely worried about her.

DeleteUnknown, they do like having characters work behind the scenes and then show up with police out of nowhere, so some version of what you say is possible to happen. Xander was too determined to go away so easily. Maybe behind the scenes he went to Liam (or Bill or even Justin) about this.
DeleteLike anyone ever stays in jail on this show. A minor setback, especially if Hope is pregnant with Thomas' child. It just means that they will have a few more hurdles to get over before being together eventually.

Li is angry at her sister, she hates her and all she says is "you ruined this married doctor's reputation and almost mine by sleeping with him" if Jack is the father, why isn't she blaming her for sleeping with her husband? NOT ONCE she mantionned it, i fact everything she said to her was empty and is absolutely not good reasons to be angry at her. Now we learn that she was living with them for a while and of course, not a single word about this.... stupid
ReplyDeleteThe shame of it all. Li probably wants to forget it ever happened. And now, not just Luna, but Poppy, have shown up in LA bringing back all those hurtful memories. If it was me, I wouldn't be going around telling everybody that my sister slept with my husband either. Especially since Li stayed with Jack for many years after it happened.
