I like Hope too setting it straight with Brooke. She may get disappointed though if it turns out Thomas was involved in the whole CPS fiasco and Brooke's instincts were right (it was always the case before, btw). @M I do like Steffy to a point, she is very agitating annoying, we are so aware how she wants Mom and Dad together, I just wish she would cork it! Besides, how can we know if Ridge will really stick to Taylor, once the truth comes out if Thomas set up Brooke, we don't, and history has that Ridge always runs back to Brooke. I loved the way Hope stood up towards her mother today, it's about time some has the balls to tell her off, and not be afraid to say what's on their mind about what they really think of her. I think Bill might be in Aspen, probably there to pick up some personal things before selling the place to Steffy. If Thomas did set Brooke up, and hope finds out she will be devasted they he lied or conned her again.
@Elizabeth I believe at some point they will bring Ridge and Taylor together at least in oder to make some memories with the two actors playing them. And the question if the relationship will stick... History does show otherwise, destiny 😀 somehow prevails. Unless they set another (so desirable for her fans) direction for Brooke to get herself from under the Ridge influence and call the shots herself.
Steffy isn't thinking of her mom's well being, she just wants what she wants, which is for the Forresters to win. I'm actually saddened by what her character has come to. She was so much better than this.
I still don't believe that Thomas had anything to do with the CPS call. For one thing, it will destroy all the progress he's made with Hope and Douglas. Secondly, he and Hope are really starting to bond and she's defending him. I think we may see a Thomas/Hope pairing soon.
I'm starting to think now that it might be Brooke who called CPS. While she was talking to Hope, a text came through on her phone. She looked at the phone then turned it face down and said she thought it might be Ridge. That struck me as bit suspicious.

Yup hope definitely deserves kudos for telling brook off as i believe brook called them too because she was trying to gain some leverage for hope to use against him if they do go into custody battle. Was also nice to hear hope giving thomas the much needed credit he deserves without people who themselve have lots of shady behaviors in their past and have no right to be running others down over theirs.. brok has convieniently left out what thoma was doing with that knife as a way to make it seem as tho thom was being careless.and making up scenarios of what could happen ..

If she is I'll have to reconsider my allegiance to the soap 😅 it's one thing to be devious, it belongs in a soap, but not stupid. But to me so far things have made some sort of sense to an extent. This wouldn't. The motives you list make sense, just not the execution.
Plus what would the scheme even be - to have someone imitate her voice via app and say her name? That's also insane and senseless and Brooke isn't that. If she would call, she'd call and stand up to it since she already announced she would call. Why say it and then lie?

This would require Brooke to know about that app - something that you all keep denying is possible for nearly anybody else, but all of a sudden completely likely for Brooke to do it to pretend Thomas faked her voice?! Brooke pushes Ridge's boundaries and that's something I don't like. So I would totally expect her to make good on her threat and stand by it and even act surprised and hurt when she carries the consequences. A convoluted app-voice-fake-setup for Thomas is not her.

Aside from the constant repetitive 'mom, dad loves you crap" has anyone else noticed how often all the characters on this show say "I get it, I do"? This phrase gets uttered 100 times a week on this show!! Every conversation that happens, someone says "I get it, I do". It drives me nuts. Our writers have a VERY limited vocabulary it seems.

But the "I get it, I do" is even worse also because it usually doesn't mean they get it and stop, but as sth to fill in with before bridging with a "but" to continue with whatever crap they were going on with before the other person reminded them of their reality.

Her mother is trying to tell her that she does not want to be second best to Ridge. That she's not a consolation prize. That she's not a homewrecker. That she does not want to be hurt again when Ridge decides he wants to return to Brooke. Instead of going on ad nauseum about her dad loving her mom and her mom should not give up, Steffy needs to shut the heck up and take time out to listen to what Taylor is saying and be more supportive of her mother.

Delete@Valinda You are right! Brooke has never respected anyone's marriage and still doesn't to this day! That doesn't mean that Steffy should do the same. Her mother is trying to tell her that she does not want to be second best to Ridge. That she's not a consolation prize. That she's not a homewrecker. That she does not want to be hurt again when Ridge decides he wants to return to Brooke. Instead of going on ad nauseum about her dad loving her mom and her mom should not give up, Steffy needs to shut the heck up and take time out to listen to what Taylor is saying and be more supportive of her mother.

They know exactly who she is and what lengths she would go to get her way and what she wants.. It’s pretty bad when you can’t trust your own wife or mother.. And, the comment Brooke made about their lives being interwoven, Thomas is a lead designer in his Family company, which he started in the mail room, went to University, and it is also his legacy.. Hopes line was given to her on a silver platter, because she was going off the rails, so really Brooke??

DeleteThe expressions on brooks face and words just telling hope basically the call to cps she could use against thomas in order to get douglas back home to her liam and beth screams out why brook would have called it in..shes saying :using telling hope and ridge about the call to cps i believe she was counting on it being kept confidential on who made the callas by law they not suppose to reveal identity of person that called it in. Kudos to hope for standing up to her mom about thomas and putting her in check. Was way past time someone did. Im hoping for a thomas hope hookup as a couple and ridge and taylor as a couple too butif not taylor and ridge together then put her and deacon together if he can shake off the she devil called shiela whom i also wonder if she had gotten wind of the knife issue and called in to cps pretending to be brook to once again try to set brook up
