Yes, I do.. that is exactly how it would go.. I don’t want to see that happen either.. but at the end of the day, if something happens to Eric before and even after the show down, people, and especially Ridge, will be very angry with RJ, which would not be fair, but I could also understand that too, because I would want to know if something was wrong with my dad, and if my kids knew and didn’t tell me, and something happened to him, and I didn’t get the chance to tell him I loved him respected him and everything he did for me, and to say goodbye, I would be furious!!.. it’s a no win situation for RJ to be in between the two men he loves and respects the most, knowing that no matter which way he turns and no matter what he does or does not do, he will really let down either one or the other!! It’s not fair to put him in that situation.. and let’s say Ridge does win anyway, when he finds out why his father is doing this, it will mean nothing to him and he will feel guilty for going through with it, and we can all pretty much guess what will happen, Eric will win them on the stage he will collapse!!

The glasses seem to really accentuate them 🤣🤣🤣 I have actually thought to myself a few times, that the actor Thorsten, is German, and if he cut off one of those eyebrows and stuck it under his nose, he could pass for Hitler!! And no, please, I mean no racial offence to anyone who may be German.. I am just talking about TK’s eyebrows!! 🤣🤣🤣

RJ needs to tell his dad the truth, just as Luna needs to tell RJ the truth.

It would b hard dealing with all that on your own.. I think once RJ finds out Eric is dying he will go to Ridge.. But I think Katie will tell Carter and he will tell Ridge first, before RJ can and there will b trouble between Ridge and RJ.. This is so unfair to everyone..

DeleteTrue Roseam, she can’t keep anything to herself, she will tell Carter, then probably Brooke.. But in this case, I could understand her doing it.. Eric is being very unfair putting people in this position.. RJ especially.. if anything happens to Eric and others find out he knew and said nothing, especially Ridge, it will make RJ and his relationship with Ridge very strained, and RJ will never forgive himself for not saying anything to his father, especially when he has been asked over and over if something is wrong with Eric..

I could never think that Jacqueline just got a baby! Annika looks great 👍 I like that Hope is more sexy and not seem like a neighbour girl anymore. She never looked like Brooke's daughter because Brooke is so beautiful and has a nice make up. Now it's better for Hope 👍
DeleteI have mixed feelings about Hope‘s new hairstyle - it does look sexy but I’m such a fan of long wavy hair, youthful and romantic. I guess both are good on a beautiful woman like her.
DeleteBtw Matthew (Thomas) has such effortless charm and humor just radiating. With more talented writing he could be really the best, a deep role with various sides and not only this permanently transfixed expression (on Hope). Before Liam completely went off the deep end, he had also this funny sarcastic moments and facial expressions, so whoever was writing him was doing a good job.
DeleteI so agree about Thomas and if the writing was better, but even with shitty scripts he still radiates charm and humor. So did Wyatt, Liam and Bill. Loved them together before the writing went downtown.

ReplyDeleteSince my father turned seriously ill in May, I hadn't had the opportunity to watch the program and now that he has passed away recently, I did a little fast speed course as to what has been happening; Eric deciding to do his last designs, and turning out he is dying; Hope no longer being Ms. Goody Two Shoes instead she is becoming the wild woman with Thomas; Taylor can't win Ridge back the way she wanted to, it is so obvious how Ridge wants Brooke so bad; another love triangle going on, the Finn, Steffy, and Liam story; Deacon risking his relationship with his daughter all because he is in love with "Psycho Woman."; Even though Steffy loves Finn she feels now not secure with him all because he is related to Sheila (Mad Woman); Finn's character doesn't seem too thrilling anymore, he acts like he doesn't know what to do, he does not give me the impression that he can protect Steffy and the children, is Bradley Bell trying to put Steffy and Liam back together? Liam, is this Dodo brain turning into a "Mad Man"? Did he catch some of Thomas past madness disease? Will he go looney on us and have to lock him up in the crazy house? When in the heck is Ridge and Brooke tying the knot? Don't see much of Bill & Wyatt on the soap these days, I liked them, and I would hate to see Bradley Bell losing these characters. Rumors, going around that Hope & Finn might become an item, since the Liam-Steffy kiss story hasn't come out I wouldn't be surprised if it does happen soon. Also, Li playing with Sheila's mind, will somehow is going to backfire, she has been risking her life in doing so.

DeleteI'm so disappointed if Steffy is becoming to be in a relationship with Liam. I don't like his way to act. Trying to sabotage their marriage. The prize for that can't be that he gets what he wants. Hope would be fine with Finn. They both are so peaceful and nice. But then Liam gets Steffy..

DeleteIt's not rubbish. Anniemae is right. Eric did not have the money to invest in his vision, Stephanie's father funded the start up of Forrester Creations. Eric used to sleep with the models and cheated on Stephanie for years. He treated her horribly for a very long time. He definitely is not the best man on the show. He won't even let his own son know he's ill instead, insisting on this foolish competition. He's being very selfish. Allowing his wife to sleep with Carter because he couldn't satisfy her but keeping his leash on her so that she doesn't leave him only to turn around and have an affair with Donna, was the most despicable display of emotional and mental abuse I've seen on this show. In what world is Eric the best man on this show?

DeleteEric was a complete tosser to his first wife! He used to her to get the start up money and cheated on her constantly throughout their marriage.
DeleteEric actually tried to cheat Stephanie out of her inheritance! He hid the fact that she was actually the sole owner of Forrester! He and Brooke fired Stephanie from her own company! Her father didn’t trust Eric not to screw Stephanie over and had legal protections in place in the form of a trust making her sole owner.
Eric was not a good guy most of the time he was on the show. The very beginning of the show he was sleeping with women in the office! Ridge copied his father’s behaviour!
Eric cheated on his wife with Brooke and Donna!
As mentioned by others above he was very emotionally abusive with Quinn and with Stephanie actually.
Eric is no saint and is acting in a completely selfish manner now! I think he’s reverting to his old self and putting his grandson and fancy woman in a terrible position.
If Katherine Chancellor (from Y&R) hadn’t told Stephanie the truth Brooke and Eric would have left her with nothing and cheated her of the company her father funded!

DeleteIf Eric loves Donna so much, why hasn’t he thought of remarrying her? Or is he worried she’ll cheat on him again with a younger man and take him for a few more millions in alimony and take his wee 12% of Forrester he still owns.
DeleteI love how says he’s taking back the company for the two majority shareholders who have almost 90% if the company lol.
Eric doesn’t just want to win the competition he wants to take back Forrester after ten years of being semiretired and not the actual owner or CEO anymore. He doesn’t actually have the power to do that!
Ridge is right to be worried, especially when Eric wants to take Forrester designs back to the 80’s!!! Eric basically bankrupted Forrester by bad decisions and putting Rick who was clueless in charge. Also having the Logans run it into the ground. Steffy and Ridge fought long and hard to bring it back from utter decimation and they have every right to be concerned about Eric’s crazy spending for this line and wanting to replace a lucrative couture line with one that may or may not succeed. Adding a line is one thing if it can be supported. Clearly Forrester is still on semi shaky ground financially since Carter has to pull another line to finance Eric’s. He could bankrupt Forrester again just to feed his ego!
Ridge wanted Eric to design pieces for the existing line because as Co CEO he knows all this. I love how he’s so hated for trying to get Eric to make a logical decision for the company. Eric is literally only thinking of himself at this point. RJ mimics Eric without seeing what is at risk. Carter and Ridge both tried to tell him but he won’t listen.
I’m all for supporting Eric, compassion etc. However allowing him to destroy Forrester financially to feed his ego isn’t doing him any favours!
I don't like Eric now. It was good reading how he was before. I have forgot lots of past. And was not watching regularly. He has changed to his old self. He was nice when he was retired. Now he thinks again he is the best and he knows all best and thinking just himself. Not so nice to watch. Poor Donna and RJ 😪

I believe when someone is so ill (also affecting his mentality obv) and struggling with the realization their life is ending, it’s not the same person. You can’t measure their actions by the same way as a younger healthier person with all their faculties. Put yourselves in Eric’s shoes for a second and tone down the judgment to an old dying man trying to come to terms with the hardest things in life. Yes he’s unreasonable but it’s so obvious that there are reasons out of his control.

For me the guilt RJ or donna will carry if eric left the world while he is angry with them and feel betrayed is waaaaaaay heavy than ridge and the rest would be angry with them
For sure they are in an unfavorable position Mmysh and they shouldn't be. But Eric is blamed way too harshly for putting them in it when it's clear he is not at all in his normal mind. An older man by default is not thinking, not relating and not reacting the same way as a younger one. And that's even before the factor of the diagnosis and those heavy symptoms. Eric is in pain so I believe deserves some leeway and compassion.
