Well let the shit show begin. Finn & Steffy are over. There is no way she is going to stay with him.Li is going to go berserk when she hears about Poppy & Finn....And Hope gives me the creeps more than Luna ever did. Complete psycho look at the end.

ReplyDeleteI understand how Taylor feels. She already lost one daughter and came dangerously close, TWICE, to losing Steffy. She is totally freaking out learning that Luna is Finn's daughter. I have 2 daughters of my own and I would have told them the same thing if they found themselves in a situation like Steffy's.
ReplyDeleteIt's also good that Steffy wants to stand by Finn instead of running away like she's so prone to do however, I think she is putting a lot of hope on Luna being locked away for the rest of her life and therefore, she won't be a problem in her marriage. When she finds out that Luna is actually not in prison, that might change things for her.
So now we know that Luna is just 18. If Poppy was supposedly very young when she had Luna, I would say that she was probably in her early to mid-twenties, which means that she wasn't much older than Finn. And Finn telling Luna that he would have figured out how to manage college and be a dad to her tells me that he was a mature-thinking 18-year old. He knew what he wanted in life and was willing to work to get it. It doesn't seem like he was taken advantage of by Poppy or did not know what he was doing. Poppy herself was pretty young.
I think Carter is going to end things with Hope and go after Daphne, then he will give the company back to the Forresters. It might not be that easy though as Hope might put up a fight just so that she can continue being "in charge."

DeleteI don’t think Carter is interested in Daphne at all. The only way I could ever see that happening is if Carter and Hope break up, and Daphne totally changes her ways and quits being so dang full of herself. He definitely wouldn’t pursue a relationship with Daphne as she is today. We have seen many people on this show do 180 degree personality changes. So there’s a chance, but only if she changes.
DeleteDaphne isn’t in the opening credits. So I’m still guessing she doesn’t stick around much longer.
Steffy will definitely change her thinking once she finds out what happened at Bill’s and that Luna is not in prison. Steffy should know better than to assume Finn won’t try to be part of Luna’s life. Finn is a sucker for sure.

DeleteLuna has to be in her early 20’s. In the US, kids graduate from HS at 18. Some in the latter part of their 17th year.

DeleteI think Steffy understands that Finn might want to get to know his daughter. She seems to be okay with that since she is blaming Poppy 100% and thinks Finn is innocent in the whole scenario. It's just that she is okay with it because she believes Luna is in prison and therefore, she (Steffy) or the kids won't have to interact with her. Once she finds out Luna is actually not in prison, she will draw the line at Finn spending time with Luna.
Daphne certainly displayed a level of arrogance when she first came however, I haven't seen it much lately.
I agree, Steffy thinks she is safe from Luna. But I can see how Steffy will start to get annoyed if Finn wants to cultivate a relationship with Luna. I think we even saw that in the previews. I’m not even saying I blame Steffy. Luna did try to kill her, after all. I just know how upset Steffy got when Finn wanted to get to know Sheila. So I can’t imagine this will be much different for Steffy once Finn’s intentions with Luna are made known. Finn is feeling very guilty about not being there for Luna while she was growing up.

DeleteAm I right that legal drinking age at US is 21? If so Luna was probably 21 at that party at Eric’s when she ended up in Zende’s bed. She was definitely drinking alcohol at the party and everyone was ok with that. She always says something that her mum has her 'about 20 years ago’ so I assume she was 21 at the party and is now maybe 22.

i HATE that the writers have done this to finn. leave him and steffi alone! i'm hoping carter changes his mind and signs forester back to ridge and steffi, which in turn will infuriate hope, which in turn causes carter to see she was using him all along, which in turn sends him into daphnes' arms.

DeleteMy biological mother never told me who my dad was, she kept saying there were so many men back then that she had no idea ugh (🤮), much like Poppy, except mine didn't raise me. Thank God, I'd be a mass murderer now :D
So when I see Finn and Luna together, I am sobbing.
I get that it's gross that he slept with his aunt, but I am blocking that part out and focus on the here and now :) I love this SL, too

DeleteI don't think Luna's story has anything to do with if her real father was there or not. There are kids out there doing mass murders that grew up in loving families, and wealthy families. The problem with Luna is she shows no remorse. She puts the tears on in front of people, then smirks while doing her time in a mansion.
Still waiting for Bill to find out that everyone is going to find out now and what his explanation is.
Steffy I love you so much, you are my favorite on the soap but Poppy didn't lie about the paternity. She said she didn't know who it was. The only lie she could have told was back then that he was not the father. I guess she wanted to convince herself that he wasn't.
ReplyDeleteIt's not Steffy's fault that she thinks that way about Poppy. Anyone hearing the story would feel the same. Finn has refused to correct Steffy's perception. It was only today when Luna was going on about Poppy knowing that Finn was the dad but lied about it, that Finn actually sort of came to Poppy's defense and said that she was trying to protect him. Other than that, Finn has kept his entire past relationship with Poppy a secret from his wife.
DeleteBoth Poppy and Finn should have done paternity test decades ago. Poppy was being deceitful because she knew there was a good chance it could be Finn’s. And Finn should have INSISTED decades ago. There is no way I would “take someone’s word for it” given the timing of it all.

When describing Ridge, it says, "Dr. Taylor Hayes, one of the loves of his life ..." but it doesn't say who the other is! It does NOT say that about Brooke.
Brooke could have been Eric's daughter rather than his wife as her mum was dating Eric and then he married Stephanie because she was pregnant while all three were undergraduates.
If Luna was in prison Steffy and Finn might have a chance to make it. But since she's not and Finn is already keeping secrets. It doesn't look good for their marriage. 😥

Apparently that girl April at the hospital is a fake she must’ve swapped the blood that wasn’t Lunas blood so Finn is not the father geez they go on about it , this storyline is crap it really is
ReplyDeleteI’m sorry that doesn’t make sense . Whose blood would it be switched with to show she is his daughter? Hayes hasn’t had any medical tests and he is Finn’s only other biological child. That reasoning just doesn’t hold up.
DeleteEven if it wasn't Luna's blood, Finn is still the father to someone because he was a match! I keep saying that it would be a heck of a coincidence that Luna's blood was switched with some random blood sample and that person just happens to be Finn's daughter. It would mean that Finn has another child somewhere out there.
DeleteAt the end of the day, Finn's blood was a match when he ran the blood test TWICE. So, he is Luna's father.

Yes Finn is keeping a secret that he went to see Luna but I’m sure he will tell Steffy when he comes home. I don’t know if he tell about the hugging but I bet he will tell that Luna is not in prison. He is a good guy. Everyone feel for Steffy but I feel for Finn too. He is in a horrible position. Steffy is right. It’s not his fault. Any of these. How horrible he must feel knowing that he has two psychos for a mother and a daughter. That maybe he passed that gene for his son. That his wife that he loves is in danger because of his family. It’s easy to say he should not contact Sheila or Luna. But he can’t help that he feels that conection with them. It’s beyond him, It’s biology. He is stuck in the middle. Yes his wife and son and step daughter should be his first priority but it doesn’t change what his heart feels. He was horriefied in that episode when he discovered he is Luna’s father. Having this psychos in the family probably he feels contaminated himself. On some level I really feel for him and understand his position.

DeleteI understand that he might be able to walk away from his mother, but given the person that he is, he feels responsible for his daughter and I doubt that he will be willing to abandon her ("again", since he never had the chance to be there for her). I truly believe that he would have tried his best to be a good father even when he was 18/19.
I believe it too. I feel for him and for Steffy at the same time. It’s just a tragic situation for their whole family.

ReplyDeleteTaylor is in no position to tell Steffy what to do, after all she has never kept Ridge in her bed for long, he always goes back to Brooke! She should not be telling her daughter to leave Finn. That is something only Steffy can decide and she is much stronger than he mother ever was.

I still can't believe that Taylor went back to Ridge like a week after he had left Brooke. If she was smart, she would have waited a couple of months to see if he was going to run back to Brooke. She also should have made him fight for her, not welcome him with open arms. She enables him to treat her poorly over and over again, because has to face 0 negative consequences, he can come back whenever he pleases.
DeleteWhat does Taylor's past relationship with Ridge have to do with Taylor being concerned for her daughter? I don't think any mother would encourage their daughter to stay with a man whose mother and daughter tried to kill her. I know if it was my daughter, I would have told her the same thing.
DeleteIt's not that Taylor doesn't like Finn. Just last week, she was going on and on to Ridge about how happy she is for Steffy that she found someone like Finn. She is just being a very concerned mother who feels like her daughter and grandkids are in danger given the circumstances.
