DeleteDid you notice that Eric's house was not decorated for Christmas? There would normally be garland on the stair railing and a big Christmas tree, etc. Where there would be poinsettias looked like red roses to me. Donna would have been busy offscreen making the house festive before the takeover.

DeleteThe difference between Taylor and greedy Brooke is that Taylor, like Stephanie after the divorce, didn't take anything from the company. Today she even tried to defend Brooke in part. Brooke, the show's biggest egoist and hypocrite, first fired Electra for fake photos, even though she herself paraded around in cheap lingerie many times. And now she took over the company and manipulates that it's for Ridge.

And after the way she was treated and she took the company over when she created the belief formula, she deserved it and was disrespected for her contributions forever! Staffy provided around in lingerie in front of every single man that hope ever had to take them away from her. She did the lingerie line for Forester for quite a while just like Brooke created it. So why are you blamig Brooke for wearing lingerie? Different rules for different people! By the way, if you understand anything at all about business, Carter took over the company, and hope may have encouraged it, but it's not like she plotted it because she never knew anything about those business papers. Like I said, if you watched until the end, Brooke is going to be a mole for the foresters just like zende🙄🙄. And I agree that they should have told Electra why they were firing her, but she should have been straight up honest with them when she came to work there about why she didn't want her face out in public. That's the problem with a lot of these shows. Nobody opens their mouth until the damage is done

ReplyDeleteBecause Brad Bell made his father's iconic soap opera a boring and irritating remake, completely changing the story and favoring Brooke. In normal B&B Ridge would choose Taylor more often than Brooke. :)
DeleteAbsolutely not! Brooke was always Ridges true love other than Caroline, and after Caroline died, right before that, she had told him that she wanted him to be with Brooke. After Taylor was counseling Caroline and ridge about her illness and death coming up, Taylor relentlessly pursued Ridge, his mom Stephanie kept whining and bitching in his ear to be with Taylor, and both of those women plotted to get him away from Brooke when he should have been with her all along, and he always will go back to Brooke. I've watched this show since the very first episode. And Stephanie and Brooke battled for years, but at the end of her life when she was dying she wanted Brooke to be the one they're holding her hand when she passed, and she was. They had a very touching conversation about how they were probably too much alike, that's what Stephanie said, and how sorry she was for treating her the way that she did, etc
DeleteKidd, I too watched from the very first episode, but ill have to disagree on one point, Caroline was never Ridge through love, which is why on her dying bed she was able to tell Ridge to go be with Brooke, because she knew where Ridge heart was. Ridge married Caroline on a whim, Ridge was a player boy back then, and Caroline father, Bill Spencer, didnt want Ridge to be with his goody 2 shoes daughter and so Ridge married princess caroline just to piss her father off. Interesting how Ridge didnt like the father and now today, dont like the son. lol

DeleteBrooke started at Forester as a chemist I am created that belief formula which they use to make wrinkle proof fabric. It made that company gazillions of dollars. So she definitely earned her place in that company and could have probably kept it when she took it over, but she gave it back to the family. And Taylor still is considered a Forester, I what the hell is going on with the double standard? I don't think many of you that comment on here have watched this show for very long. Stephanie has been the hope of La forever, going after so many married man, just like Bill Spencer when he was married to Katie, chased after hopes first love, oliver, then relentlessly pursued liam, even after he and Hope married, and had to have a paternity test with both of her kids. Now tell me who is the s***? Taylor passed through all of the Forester men also, even Brooks son Rick, and took Brooke's leftovers from at least three men that Brooke had relationships with. Wake up people!

DeleteOnce you are legally married to a person it is your right to continue using you maiden name, your married name or a hyphenation of both. Just because Brooke and Ridge are divorced does not mean she is not entitled to carry his name.

Taylor claims to be a top psychologist when the only person we saw her try to help was Sheila and we all know how that turned out. With all her so-called knowledge why do she keep setting herself up by letting Ridge use her like that?
ReplyDeleteAnd, Hope didn't start anything. Carter shared with Hope his plans and she simply agreed. She didn't add anything to what he wanted to do. Carter used this opportunity to take over the company and used Hope's firing as his reason. BUT none of this would have ever happened if people stopped using FC as their personal make-out place and took their lust to the privacy of their own home. In real life I doubt very seriously if any of this happens like that when the room wasn't private and anyone could have walked in.
But getting back to Hope, she was wrong for dressing inappropriately and what was Finn doing there? He wasn't waiting for Steffy in her office. He was waiting where Hope works. Is was like he was on the downlow looking for an opportunity to see her. And he knew that Hope didn't know he was going to be there so how could she purposely seduce him when she was in the room first?
The writers lack common sense and believe that whatever they write is okay because they wrote it. The show lacks continuity in thinking and strives on the discord between it's fans voicing their opinions.
Controversy sells and keeps us watching and debating which is good for the show. Don't take anything serious because at the end of the day, it's just a show with actors being paid to read lines.
@Tired I completely agree with everything you are saying, however, I believe that Finn went into the design office because Steffy was busy in a meeting in the main office. I just dunno why he couldn't just leave the laptop with a secretary instead. With Pam or something. Even though we don't see Pam anymore, I am pretty sure I heard someone mention her the other day, and that she still works at the office.

DeleteThat isn’t Hope’s office it is used by all the different teams which is why BB clothing was hanging there! As CEO Steffy had a right to meet with whatever team she needs to and her husband was just dropping off her tablet for her meeting. There was no nefarious intent there!
Taylor will always be the stand-in. That will never change but baby Steffy keep encouraging her to jump into Ridge's arms.

DeleteShe did text him before the press release, "I need to tell you something". He hasn't seen that text yet. In the press release she said "the company is in good hands, my hands". Ridge did seem to pick up on that, but who knows. It could be fun to watch, Carter and Hope think they have everything under control not knowing Brooke and Zende are planning to take them down, as long as it doesn't go on for months.

It gets boring because we all know that he will always go back to Brooke and Taylor must enjoy being a doormat. And Taylor and Steffy have continually said that they aren't trying to put their family back together with Ridge, but guess what? And their kids are well into their 30s so stop whining about wanting your parents back together, and Ridge should have never married Taylor to begin with knowing how he felt about Brooke. And Ridge is always so ready to believe the worst about Brooke and just run right back to Taylor. To the writers, please listen to us! It's beyond boring and sickening when you can predict what's happening all of the time, so move on to another storyline we all know how this will end up and you're just pissing off the fans. I was thrilled when you finally got rid of the triangle of Hope Liam and steffy, but now you keep going back to an even older triangle! Just please STOP!
