DeleteMilla, I hope she will have enough of Ridge this time. The only person I feel sorry for in all of this, is Eric. He started the company with hie designing skills and Douglas money. She should be loyal to Eric at least, if not loyal to Ridge.

DeleteMalin I think for Eric, if it's not going to be Ridge, he'd be fine with Brooke being the CEO once he calms down. He'll realize that it's better than Carter or an outsider. Eric always appreciated Brooke's business acumen and all that she contributed to the company. So he'll be fine. And especially when he hears how Brooke found Ridge and Taylor. He's always been Bridge's strongest supporter. Even if he tolerates Ridge's occasional moments of playing with Taylor, he knows better than anyone where he always ends up.

Let's see what Brooke does next. Will she step down as CEO and let the chips fall where they may or, will she join Carter and Hope in evolving the company?
Hope seems pretty confident that her and Carter's unethical takeover is gonna stick. Look at her assuring Zende that his position at FC is secure.
Hey Elle, They don’t seem to be doing anything because it looks like the writers are setting Brooke up to be the hero who saves the company. However, Brooke will most likely have some conditions for returning the company. It would be more interesting to actually see the Forresters fight for their company instead of having Brooke save the day. It will be intriguing to see how they respond if that’s the direction the writers are taking.

Hi Soh. I was really hoping for a Brooke and the Forresters against Carter and Hope. It would have definitely been interesting given Brooke and Hope's usual dynamic where Brooke always stands by Hope's side no matter what she does. To see them fight for the company against each other would have been must watch TV.

DeleteI mean realistically speaking, did Brooke really think they wouldn't have found out before she chose to tell Ridge in person. I would be hurt and pissed too although i wouldn't be kissing my ex to prove it. But if Brooke decides to continue with the CEO position with intentions to help Carter and Hope, she would still be choosing to Betray Eric too. The one Forrestor who has stood by her side for years. but join the Petty crew, because all their decisions are not really for the betterment of the company but to rather throw it in all the true owners faces. They are all no different than Steffy then.
ReplyDeleteI still don't understand why Brooke would make a press release about being CEO without talking to Ridge about it first. Carter told her that he understood her situation and that she could have taken some time to think about it. Brooke could have taken that time to discuss it with Ridge.

All of this Taylor/Ridge/Brooke business is the exact same business that happened years ago, except it was Brooke that kept longing for and chasing after Ridge even though his heart belonged to Taylor. Brooke never gave up and she eventually got Ridge. Taylor is probably hoping for the same outcome.

Yeah, Lynn, Hope behaves like she is the queen on the hill now... kinda silly tbh. She isn't the boss, even if she sleeps with him. Standing behind the desk in the main office, as if SHE wishes SHE was the boss. I mean, I always loved Hope, but I am just getting annoyed with these little hints about her becoming powerhungry.

DeleteI hope you’re right on Brooke, but I’ve witnessed it time and time again ….Brooke making excuses for Ridge so she doesn’t lose him. I doubt this time will be different. At least not for long. But I actually hope she doesn’t just give him a free pass. Ridge is the epitome of a narcissist. He feels he can do whatever he wants and will always get away with it when it comes to those 2 women. He is sooooo unlikable!!
@Lynn, I was thinking the same thing about Taylor not being able to hear all the yelling going on downstairs, but Ridge heard Brooke call his name and she wasn't even talking loudly. So now what will brokenhearted Brooke do? I hope she will still do what she originally planned. Not for Ridge, because he doesn't deserve it after the way he just treated her. He wouldn't even let her talk. And knowing he would have slept with Taylor if it were not for the spilled drinks. Who tries to make out while holding glasses? They are far from clumsy teenagers. Brooke should do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. And it make Ridge, Steffy, and Taylor feel stupid.

Lynn, this is what frustrates me about this soap. Yes, she needed to tell him faster, but they all do that. I guess it's the way to create suspense, but I find myself yelling at them and saying "SAY IT already!" I feel very foolish. lol
DeleteGood point, Lynn, about Eric & Donna's unknown whereabouts. We know it was late in the evening as Brooke said that it was late to Ridge, but she really needed to talk to him. Older people, like Eric, typically go to bed earlier than most. One would think at least one of them would have woken up. On the other hand, maybe it was honey 🍯 bear 🐻 time! 😂

Now she'll absolutely stay on as CEO. I think she'll focus her efforts on helping Hope and Carter run the business rather to convince them of anything. Ridge is such an idiot, it's incredible how dumb someone can be. To not realize what alienating Brooke in this situation means.
If there was a time for Bill to swop in, now would be it. He should help them financially and otherwise business and get close to Brooke.

DeleteBill is timeless….and seems to get better looking with age. Ridge on the other hand, is looking really old these days. I hope Brooke and Bill have a go at it!! Especially since Luna is trying to pull out all the stops to convince Bill to help her get out of prison.

It's all on Ridge, who can't even try to listen for one minute, I mean, if I was him, I would have loved to hear what kind of explanation she had at becoming CEO... He didn't even wanna hear her out! DeleteRidge can't be without a woman for even one night. If Ridge really cared about Taylor, he would take a time out to make sure he was really moving on from his "Destiny" before hopping in bed with Taylor. He would be certain that he truly had feelings for Taylor & wanted to pursue a relationship. She is still healing from BHS & he is risking causing her to have a set back. Ridge is selfish. I realize Taylor is the one who went upstairs, but he could have sent her away again. That would have been best for all parties - including Brooke.

ReplyDeleteI'm I the only one who noticed Zende looking a bit thicker around the middle? I'm definitely not complaining. I love a guy with a little thickness. Especially this time of year when it's cold outside. A guy you can cuddle on the couch with and keep warm. As I have left my twenties and thirties, I don't really need a guy who lives in the gym. I can appreciate someone who has a tummy and love handles. Someone you can lie in bed with, watch a movie, and share a cheesecake.💑 🍰🖥

It looks like zende is thicker but I think it is because of his shirt with flowers. I know he works out. I think he is drop dead gorgeous (Carter too). Zende (Delon de Metz) is of Dutch and Caribbean descent. He studied at the Harvard University, from which he graduated with an honors degree in economics. So he is smart too, haha. The whole package!! I asked him sometimes a few things on his IG and he was so nice in his answers!. He always answers if somebody asking him something.
