@Sunshine Well here is an update about Thomas' storyline because the writers are having a hay day making Thomas look terrible, there are Thomas fans and B&B fans who are boycotting how they are making him an evil villain and the way they have him mistreating Douglas and Hope is soon about to find that out. It sounds to me the writers want Thomas to either get locked up or sent to the crazy house.

I read other recent comments where you were berating me just about 30 mins ago. So this comment (above) was either written before or after the other recent snarky comments. So I’m a little taken back by this comment above. But to address what you wrote here…I think the only way to stay away from arguments on this blog is to not respond to each other’s posts. If for example, you make a comment on that day’s show and there are replies to your original comment, then I will stay completely away from that thread. And you would need to do the same for me. If on the other hand, Milla comments on the day’s show and you and I are both directly replying to Milla, then we need to be careful not to disparage the other, even if we aren’t naming the person directly. It’s obvious when you are referring to me (even in an unnamed situation) and I assume the same is true for you. The truth is, I don’t want to be referenced in your comments anymore. This was the perfect opportunity for Taylor to tell Ridge that while she believes that he loves her, she also realizes that him coming after her in Aspen was a knee-jerk reaction to what Brooke did. As such, she (Taylor) would prefer that they wait to get married just so that Ridge is 100% certain that he wants to commit to her for the rest of his life. Ridge still loves Brooke and Taylor knows that so it's not like Ridge has something to hide where his feelings for Brooke are concerned. It would be the best thing for them to just wait a while. If Ridge is so sure that Taylor is who he wants, then waiting shouldn't matter.
@Elle I agree with you about Steffy coming out and asking Dad what his intentions are towards her mother. I think she did that because she remembers what her mother told her in Aspen, on how she really felt about Ridge's back and forth issue with Taylor and that she didn't want to go through with that again. That episode seemed very short. I guess because I was only half-listening to Brooke, Donna, and Katie. The whole time should have been what was going on over at Eric's place. The part I did hear with the Logan sisters was disappointing. Instead of Brooke's sisters telling her to keep hoping for Ridge to come to his senses and come back to her, they should have been telling her to move on. That a real man would say exactly why he left her, and was about to marry someone else so soon. But I'm glad they were there with Brooke instead of her BFF Liam, or arrogant Bill.

Mandy my suggestion would be for you to try to stick with more modern day BB. But to address what you wrote here…I think the only way to stay away from arguments on this blog is to not respond to each other’s posts. If for example, you make a comment on that day’s show and there are replies to your original comment, then I will stay completely away from that thread. And you would need to do the same for me. If on the other hand, Milla comments on the day’s show and you and I are both directly replying to Milla, then we need to be careful not to disparage the other, even if we aren’t naming the person directly. It’s obvious when you are referring to me (even in an unnamed situation) and I assume the same is true for you.
The truth is, I don’t want to be referenced in your comments anymore. That’s what I have the biggest issue with. Many times I am nowhere in that particular comment thread, but my name gets dragged through the mud in a reply you make to someone else. And honestly, that just infuriates me. If you will stop doing that, I will happily do the same.
It would be nice to start off the new year without all the arguments.
One final thing….I don’t appreciate being told I have a “crush” on Brooke. Honestly, it’s completely absurd. I think she’s an attractive woman, pretty much all of them are - hence the name of the show. I do like Brooke as a character. She was my favorite when I started watching the show decades ago. But then Taylor came on, I said…Wow, Hunter Tylo is just gorgeous! But still, Brooke was my favorite character. And the new Taylor is still just too annoying for me. But admittedly she has grown on me a bit. Lol.
But all that to say, I have had a very active dating life during my years on this planet. And I’m 100% heterosexual. And the inference that I am not, by you and others is not true and it’s very disrespectful to accuse someone of being bisexual when they aren’t. ReplyDeleteThis was the perfect opportunity for Taylor to tell Ridge that while she believes that he loves her, she also realizes that him coming after her in Aspen was a knee-jerk reaction to what Brooke did. As such, she (Taylor) would prefer that they wait to get married just so that Ridge is 100% certain that he wants to commit to her for the rest of his life. Ridge still loves Brooke and Taylor knows that so it's not like Ridge has something to hide where his feelings for Brooke are concerned. It would be the best thing for them to just wait a while. If Ridge is so sure that Taylor is who he wants, then waiting shouldn't matter.
@Elle I agree with you about Steffy coming out and asking Dad what his intentions are towards her mother. I think she did that because she remembers what her mother told her in Aspen, on how she really felt about Ridge's back and forth issue with Taylor and that she didn't want to go through with that again. Taylor wants Ridge to want her for her and NOT because she is a "Plan B" to Ridge.

Her first instinct was to say that he and Brooks must have had a doozy of a fight.. Now that she knows what it was Brooke did, she should really be putting the breaks on.. She should be telling him that she doesn’t want to marry him just yet.. And that she wants to be 💯 sure he is marrying her for the right reasons.. This is a repeat storyline of Carter and Paris’ rushed next day wedding.. Identical.. He gives her the ring, then says let’s do it tomorrow.. That was big warning signs right there.. Steffy was right to question him.. Although she should have done it in private without anyone else around.. The last thing he is going do in front of Taylor is say, yes that’s the reason.. That episode seemed very short. I guess because I was only half-listening to Brooke, Donna, and Katie. The whole time should have been what was going on over at Eric's place. The part I did hear with the Logan sisters was disappointing. Instead of Brooke's sisters telling her to keep hoping for Ridge to come to his senses and come back to her, they should have been telling her to move on. That a real man would say exactly why he left her, and was about to marry someone else so soon. But I'm glad they were there with Brooke instead of her BFF Liam, or arrogant Bill.

Ridge’s face at the end of the show says it all. He looks like he’s realizing he’s stuck now, and tomorrow’s the big day. Clearly he is not happy about it. This is all on you, player Ridge. Since you can’t stand to be on your own for 5 minutes, you now have a new “Till death do us part” coming your way with Taylor tomorrow. Good luck with that.
I’m wondering how Brooke is gonna find out about the CPS call. It could be that Douglas outs Thomas, and Ridge tells Brooke before the wedding. Or Brooke crashes the wedding and Douglas spills the beans at the ceremony. Or possibly Eric confronts Brooke about the call before the truth even comes out. Because Eric in particular was in total disbelief, and it seems he is definitely gonna talk to her about it. If Eric confronts Brooke, then Douglas won’t have to spill the beans before Brooke knows. And that would be better for Douglas. Either way though, master manipulator, lying, deviant Thomas is going down!!!
Thomas has to be extremely clueless if he thinks this isn’t gonna get back to Brooke at this point. I just lost some respect for mastermind Thomas. Him thinking this is gonna stay under wraps now is completely ridiculous!!

ReplyDeleteI have come to the conclusion that we could all spend endless time arguing about who did what previously, e.g How Steffy always wanted whoever Hope was involved with at any given time. How Taylor has been with all the same men as Brooke and goodness knows who else while she`s been away for years overseas.
In this time Brooke has lived as a married woman for years with the exception of a drunken slip up, because of having her drink spiked by Sheila and even then she only kissed him!

Mmysh indeed circumstances matter. Taylor's accident killing Darla was due to drunkenness. The accident with Thomas' fall was Brooke rushing to save her daughter from danger of falling herself. The fall in cleaning solution was also Hope stepping sideways when Thomas jumped at her. Also and I'm sorry to say - Darla, Ally and Emma died. Neither Brooke nor Hope has actually killed a person.
