Lol Elle forget what I said this morning about dragging this out until Frday before Liam finds away to get to Rome, but you would think he would know his father is planning a trip to Europe. He does work at SP.

Brooke is coming off as so needy. He doesn't want that Brooke. He has needy covered with Taylor. What guy wants 2 needy women? He would forget which one he is running away from. Brooke, Ridge hears, "you and me yada yada, blah blah blah yada blah yada" Ridge doesn't want to choose between 2 bad choices. Back off, or he'll make himself scarce.
DeleteRidge say "STOP" to Brooke. make it a condition of the friendship. No more relationshipy talk. If she can't agree, you have to separate yourselves. No convenient meetings.
DeleteRidge is trying pretty hard to let her down easy and she won't have it. Brooke doesn't realize there is a bad smell to such desperation.
DeleteWell, I know one thing that Ridge and Brooke will never agree upon is Thomas, we know how she feels about him, she even almost practically killed Thomas when she pushed off the cliff, how in the heck can you love a woman who can be dangerous.

Or, my favorite, when he got into bed with a very drugged up and almost passed out Brooke and decided to climb on top of her and have sex while she did not know what the heck was going on. And then there's that time Thorne put a bullet in him for doing the same thing to Thorne's wife and under the EXACT SAME CIRCUMSTANCES TOO.

Steffy was right to say something. Thomas gets harped on for all the compliments and he and Hope totally over do it. The way Hope is gazing and fawning over Thomas sends a message and it’s not strictly business.
I cannot believe Brooke is going to steal Hope’s success, she just cannot help herself. She has to put herself front and centre! She have told Ridge that it’s Hope’s big moment and she won’t do anything to interfere with it. Now it will be all about Brooke! It always is 😤😢😢 I feel sorry for Hope to have a mother who always has to steal the spotlight for herself.
I don't think it's possible to steal the spotlight from Hope and Brooke is not trying to do that. Hope will be the center of her showing, will have a speech, will be crowded by press and cameras. Brooke will just have her nice Bocelli moments with Ridge and no more than 1-2 interviews.

Ridge said she’s the face of Forrester etc. Again, Brooke modelling in Hope’s show which is totally wrong given demographic and that she’s putting herself front and centre is wrong! Her just wearing a HFTF would be okay but she’s actually planning to model it and play to the press. That is totally stealing the spotlight. I’m not hating, I feel sad for Hope.

And you don't suppose it was Hope's idea, the actual owner of the line and the person who has complete control of who models what in her showing? I never heard anyone saying it was Brooke's idea or something not agreed with Hope. And if Ridge was the one saying this, then what is Brooke being blamed for?

He's certainly aware that his sis is watching like a hawk (how he asked her if she has a problem with them complimenting? Brooke just can’t keep out of the spotlight, she’s always been like that. It’s time to let Hope Shine! That means Brooke takes back seat and doesn’t grab as much attention as she can. Ridge means well but never stopped to consider how Hope would feel about it. Like Thomas said, Hope should be the one who models a gown… not it is her line, message and vision. Brooke is not part of that!
DeleteI do agree BBfan. Brooke is a whole different face of FC. More of sexy lingerie. HFTF is a much younger, different meaning and vision. It's fine for Brooke to wear it in support of her daughter but not to model it on the runway at Hope's premiere.
DeleteWhatever. I still believe that if something is an actual issue, it is thematized as such on the show. Hope doesn't seem at all bothered her mom will be actively promoting HER line and of course it makes zero sense that she would be. It's impossible to take the spotlight off her by default and especially not in this way.
DeleteMaybe we should just wait and see what happens. Ridge told Brooke that she should wear one of HFTF's dresses and Brooke did not seem all that enthused about it. She told him that it was Hope's line and Ridge told her something about mother/daughter.... not sure what he meant. I don't think that Brooke wants to be in the spotlight or model anything because she even said to Ridge "since you are making me do it.... Her focus is on winning Ridge back, as far as I can see.

DeleteI don't think Hope knows about it. When Ridge and Brooke were on their walk, Ridge told Brooke that she should wear one of the dresses and Brooke tried to get out of wearing it. This was before the cannon scene.
What would be nice to see is Brooke at the end say something along the line, I'm honored to hand over the face of FC's to my daughter as the face of the next generations HFTF. Brooke should be wearing one of Ridge or Eric's designs and Hope be wearing one of Thomas's designs.

DeleteCarter has been on the writing team for quite some time now. I'm not sure how long but I am pretty sure it's at least 2 years since I've known about it. So he has to have been a part of the writing team for at least 2 years.

ReplyDeleteHands down the worst episode Ive watched of B&B. The cast and crew get a trip to Rome and this is the slop they show. Beyond disappointed. And sick of Brooke and her destiny crap with Ridge and his weird glances and no response. Time for some new characters and better scripts.

ReplyDeleteIt was one of those "did he or didn't he?" It happened in 2006. For the most part, fans of the show agreed that he did rape her however, they felt that he did not mean to. I guess it's a matter of perspective.
