  1. Liam is Hope's p***** really worth it?? (just because Steffy is now married) Hope why don't you just admit that you do love Thomas & his abusive behavior and your woman enough to change him! Typical. Plus, I think Douglas is becoming 'The Bad Seed'!

    1. Could Hope Look frumpier? Did she dress in the dark and throw two ugly colors together or is that a mattress pad cover? A little late for "school marm" wanna-be. Steffy's animae eyebrows make her look so cartoony. Hard to be taken seriously with classless low neckline always advertising the goods.

    2. Idk where the 15th is but after seeing the finale for Wednesday’s show, it’s totally far-fetched but I give the writers credit for finally having some creativity.

  3. How unbelievable this program has become..
Liam, leave spoiled baby Hope. She is manipulating you as always.
I love the old Taylor. This one seems like a child. She doesn't even know how to take care of Thomas and her grandson. She dresses... Wears cloths so stupidly hanging from one side or another and never really wants to admit she's not a physiologist when it comes to her family.

    1. Not with Thomas. She should know her son needs more time or maybe to keep away from Hope for even more or make his own company not to deal with Hope.

    2. Yeah like the old one knew how to take care with psycho
Some comments not only funny but also ridiculous πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    3. Exactly, not even the old Taylor took care of her family but at least didn't make her cloths hang from one side to another. But the other Taylor TYLO was a classy dresser. She Had style and wasn't baby like.

    4. There Taylor goes again visiting the Forrester office. Doesn’t the woman ever work? Maybe she doesn’t have any patients to psychoanalyze since she does so well at it with her son, not!!

  4. CAN someone put a cork in Liam's mouth, PLEASEEE! Liam just drives me bananas 🍌🍌🍌πŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ He can be such a broken record, and what irritates me the most is that he never allows Hope finish her sentence. That's why he needs a zip on his lip🀐🀐🀐.

  5. Hope you may want to dial back the attitude and the crossed arms, considering you're singing the "I do believe Thomas has changed" every three months. Here goes my hope that you go in this with caution and acknowledging how wrong you have been saying those same words n times. And wtf is that fixation on Douglas seeing his parents "work together"? Since when is that a marker for good parenting? Most people's parents don't work together.

I am convinced that someone else (maybe himself) is writing Liam's lines πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸΌ he is so sarcastically funny I wanna... kiss him πŸ˜€πŸ˜ "do you also like remember that he tried to throw me off a building so he could kidnap you on a helicopter" πŸ˜‚ "I am the king of messing up" - πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ I just can't believe he just went with it... He really loves her more than anything.

It's so funny they are all hoping Thomas has changed but I hope his true nature remains unchanged πŸ€©πŸ˜€πŸ€—

Taylor just shush. When do you ever feel concern about Thomas' coo-coo? Such therapy takes at least a year to be able to say someone has changed.

    1. @Milla Thomas isn't out of the water yet, wait till Ridge comes back he is the one who has to OK Thomas coming back on board. I am wondering how he will react.

      Delete
    2. Douglas chose to live with his Aunt Steffy because he did not like that his parents were at odds and he did not want to have to choose between them. Now that they are working together again, in Douglas' mind, his family is reunited which is why he wants to move back home immediately. I think the importance that is being placed on it is intended to reflect how Douglas feels and not necessarily that it's a condition to good parenting.

      Delete
    3. Yeah I see that it's like this in his mind but feeding that false "cause and effect" in his head is not productive. And even more so when his mind immediately goes to "I want mommy and daddy a couple" place which is a false hope. He should understand that they don't need to be a couple or working together to be good parents. Otherwise 20 years down the line we'll have Douglas fake calling CPS on Liam (Liam being the Brooke of his life that split up their family πŸ˜…)

      Delete
    4. I'm also wondering how Ridge will react but I believe all the euphoria of his kids and Taylor will sweep him up too. Can't imagine him being the only one in their family against Thomas πŸ€—

    7. Another think makes laugh this bashing liam while he was nothing but caring and supportive husband
All this bashing because they wanted problems between him and hope and the compliments should be only for finn as the best husband ever
      So liam just disappointed them
Which make me love him more

      Delete
    8. How caring and supportive was Liam when he refused to attend the HFTF launch, which was the biggest night of Hope's life, in favor of going to Brooke's to sulk about and bad-mouth Thomas? How supportive is he being now by wanting Hope to put her career on hold just because he does not like Thomas?

      Delete
    9. Well as i remember he did but he saw the psycho hugging his wife so he left
Its wasn’t right from his side
But i guess we are talking about THIS EPISODE because we talked a lot and alot back then about what happened
And btw its not about not liking some random guy working with his wife
Describe it like this is only ridiculous just to serve an agenda
And for the career thing he accepts in the end didn’t he ???
And hugged his wife assuring her he got her back

      Delete
    10. You ladies who love to bash Liam for not wanting Hope to be around Thomas would absolutely be singing a different tune if it were Finn and Steffy and some crazed psycho was hung up on Steffy. Liam has every right to feel like he does! Thomas literally tried to kill him and kidnap his wife. That’s not something that’s easily forgiven or forgotten. And that’s just one example of Thomas’ craziness with regard to Hope over the many years this has been going on!! Liam is clearly within his rights to be very upset by all this!!

      Delete
    11. Finn wouldn’t put up with this crap if it were Steffy that was going through this. Then all the Finn lovers / Liam haters would be saying how wonderful Finn is for protecting his family. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    14. Thank you Lynn! Liam has evolved massively and that's what they can't get over - that it's for Hope and not for Steffy. He doesn't take crap, cares deeply for his family, has a real present voice, humor and screen time which doesn't require him to be half-naked. And to top it all he actually again went with the Thomas madness which I didn't expect. His capacity to forgive andnaccept is similar to Hope's.

      Delete
    15. Milla, I really like Liam too. And like you and I have both stated…he’s very funny, loves Hope very much and has really grown up. I actually don’t mind seeing him with his shirt off….πŸ˜‰πŸ˜, but you’re right, he doesn’t need to do that to have a great presence on the show! I really think he’s very sharp and witty.
Just not sure why he bugs so many women on this blog. Maybe you’re right and it’s the Steffy thing. Lol.
Truthfully, Liam’s personality runs circles around Finn’s. I think Finn is cute, but kinda boring. Finn simply doesn’t have the ZING that Liam has! 😊

      Delete
    16. Oh for sure Lynn I’d also like me some shirtless Liam πŸ˜‚πŸ˜
And Finn, the actor I think has sooo much unused potential. He’s more on the broody dark side (which I love too). I thought when they brought up his promotion that will lead to some medical-related storylines for him, but it seems it means even less screen time for him. Too bad!!

      Delete
    17. Wow ladies. Calm down. First of all, I wasn't bashing Liam (there are others who do but since I commented in this post...) I responded to the comment that stated Liam always loves and supports Hope which, in my opinion, is not true, so I gave examples. Secondly, I have been saying since last week that Liam is entitled to his feelings but he should at least try to understand Hope's point of view where HFTF is concerned. I've said that instead of forbidding her to work with Thomas, they can find a workable solution such as, having a middle man who can be the liaison between Hope and Thomas where designing is concerned. Even if they are working together, they don't have to work closely together. But Liam is being completely close-minded and it is because of his personal feelings for Thomas. He is not trying to view things from a professional standpoint at all.

As for the Steffy thing, why is she even being brought up here? For the record, a lot of us on this forum do not even want Steffy and Liam together and are very happy about what she found with Finn. So why would we even be upset because Liam is trying to control his wife? What does it have to do with Steffy?

      Delete
    18. Elle I think everyone is calm πŸ˜‚
To me the only reason people (not you particularly) would hate on Liam is because he’s with Hope. But if you say you, Elle, are not hating him, then I believe you.

And I’m πŸ’― with you on finding a workable solution which would keep Hope and Thomas only as colleagues and wouldn’t threaten her personal life with Liam.

      Delete
    19. Plus Liam did, in fact, accept Hope‘s decision (much to my dismay, I was really expecting him to say "sorry but I'm done") so that begs the question- why are people still going on and on and on about how he should or shouldn’t act.

      Delete
    20. Milla, generally I am not a big Liam fan (especially last year when he used to run over to Brooke's just to bash Thomas) however, where this current storyline is concerned, I have said multiple times that I understand how he feels. Another suggestion I had was that he should seek to get close with Thomas so as to keep an eye on him. And I did quite enjoy his scenes with Hope yesterday. I love when he gets intense like that. That's why I loved him with Steffy. They had a lot of those types of scenes. With Hope, he just got boring.

      Delete
    21. I believe you too elle
But i never said always in my comment
My comment was only about the last scene between them

      Delete
    22. Liam, no doubt, prioritizes Hope's safety where Thomas is concerned, just as he is doing now. So yes, I agree Mmysh that he was being loving and supportive.

I think a bigger issue here is whether Hope puts Liam as her priority. We have been seeing since last year that she is pretty much enjoying doing her own thing regardless of how Liam feels about it. She was flirting with Thomas and giving him and Douglas priority over her own family (even though she used to take Beth on her sleepovers at the mansion). Maybe this is what Liam needs to discuss with her (not putting him and their family as priority) so as to get down to the nitty gritty of why she is always so willing to believe Thomas. I saw a poster say yesterday that Hope loves Thomas and his dysfunction (para-phrasing here). Maybe she does.

      Delete
    23. Elle, you are cracking me up. I honestly wasn’t referring to you specifically when I talked about the Finn vs Liam thing. I have read (from many bloggers) that they don’t like Liam. Some are rooting for him to be removed from the show altogether and others are commenting on how annoying he is, etc ,etc.. I simply commented on this thread as opposed to one of the others with my thoughts on the Liam vs Finn thing when it comes to protecting their families. I wasn’t coming at you specifically. 😊

      Delete
    24. Na, Hope doesn’t love Thomas. Hope is the eternal optimist and wants to believe that Thomas can be a great dad to Douglas. Douglas is her priority in all this this. She adores that little boy.
Elle, don’t you recall when Hope was with Thomas for that short time and he was wanting to kiss her and be intimate with her…how repulsed she was by Thomas! He made her skin crawl. Lol. She kept making excuses as to why she couldn’t be with him romantically.

      Delete
    25. My example of how the Liam bashers would be just fine if it were Finn doing what Liam is doing…was just that, an example of the bias. The Liam disgust isn’t warranted. It was simply a comparison for the point of comparing.

      Delete
    26. Elle I think Hope deep down still has feelings for Thomas, just by some of the glances I have seen her give him. We'll see where it goes.

      Delete
    27. Liam used to be a lovable character when he was with steffy
Till now we see a comments of steffy is the love of his life and he wil get back to her etc
I don’t know how a fan of steffy wants her to be with someone who she is his 2nd choice

      Delete
    28. D when you say still has feelings for someone it means there was a feelings
Hope never ever had any feelings for thomas

      Delete
    29. I also haven't seen Hope exhibit feelings for Thomas. If he wasn't so obsessed with her and allowed her to develop attraction naturally who knows... BB women have shown that they are most into a man when he isn't 100% into them or there's competition. Remember poor Wyatt - he couldn't win with Hope, with Ivy, with Steffy and even Sally at first was still drooling for Liam only. Same with Thorne.

      Delete
    30. I agree with Elle that it hasn't been explored why, why Hope is always willing to believe Thomas and best case risk looking like a fool and worst case - risk real harm on her family. This should be examined.

      Delete
    31. @Lynn Oh, I remember those bedroom scenes between Hope and Thomas when Thomas wanted to consummate their marriage. Even I was disgusted! Lol. But Thomas was a completely different person back then. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, gave him pause back then. We have at least seen him try to fight his attraction for Hope and, I will say again, that he did not pursue the attempted kiss with Hope any further when she turned him down.

@D I agree. Hope did have an attraction for Thomas late last year. We saw it in the way she used to look at him and the way she defended him to her mom and husband. Even with the attempted kiss. She knew he wanted to kiss her, but rather than tell him that it couldn't happen, she waited for him to come in for the kiss. It's like she was having an internal battle with herself about whether or not to let the kiss happen.

@Milla I believe Hope was (maybe still is) attracted to Thomas last year. Remember, the hand thing when he was showing her the photo in the magazine while they were in the office. Their fingers touched and they just looked at each other. When Hope was leaving the office, she stopped by the door and gave Thomas a long look (while his back was turned) before she eventually left.

      Delete
    32. Elle again that's one thing that doesn't make up for a whole picture of attraction. And a look can mean many things. Again, like with Douglas' supposed dislike of Liam, if there was actual attraction it would be more visible pattern and not 2 bits placed there to accentuate Thomas' own longing.

      Delete
    33. But it could be a good transition to what you said - if Hope starts examining why she is so willing to believe his "I'm a changed man" anthem years and years, she may discover she likes him now or at least is willing to save him, which often transfers to love. They can write it like this.

    Replies
    1. D, Liam never sees how his constant "Thomas is bad" utterances push Hope away. It happened late last year and it will probably happen again. Liam needs to be smart and become close to Thomas rather than standing in judgement of him without even having a conversation with him.

      Delete
    2. Agree Elle. I was hoping to see some progression with the Bill situation. I still think he has some master plan that will blow everyones mind. At least I'm hoping for that and not something that is so ridiculous it's unbelievable

    5. It seems Liam forgets what his own father has done to him and others … Bilol had Justin throw Ridge out of a helicopter, he blew up the Spectra building with both Liam and Sally inside and that’s after he had Justin set fire to it while the Spectra staff were working inside… Bill also fled the scene of an accident, etc just a few things. I think it’s hypocritical of him to say Thomas can never change while always rationalising his father’s bad behaviours!!

I’m not excusing Thomas, he has done super shady stuff and hurt wee Douglas. I do think having Douglas come home was a big factor as well as saving her line. Liam needs to trust his wife and treat her like an adult.

      Delete
    6. BBFan, Bill also made Liam cover up a crime scene and watched his son go out of his mind with guilt, but Bill didn't care. All he cared about was that his deeds were not brought to light. Bill also betrayed his own son by sleeping with his wife then rubbed it in his face. Such an awesome father. I wonder if Bill is allowed to spend time with Kelly despite his current relationship. I wonder what does Bill have to do for Liam to completely cut him out of his life?

      Delete
  7. Poor Liam. I get it. You're worried about your wife. And you can't forget all the horrible things Thomas has done. Liam will just have to check in with Hope daily. And I still say keep your enemies closer. Have lunch or a beer with Thomas regularly. If you buddy-up with someone you make it harder for them to stab you in the back. And Taylor still looks like Michael Jackson.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Loved the scenes between Hope and Liam today. Liam is really good when his intensity level rises. I'm not surprised that he finally gave in because he had already been second-guessing himself with Wyatt yesterday.

Steffy is really observant, which makes for a good parent. She showed concern for Douglas having to make adult decisions about his parents just like she showed at the hearing for Douglas when he chose to live with her. She outright told Thomas and Hope that their behaviour caused this.

    Good show today.

Should Sheila find him sneaking around after her, she will have no choice but to eliminate the threat. Of course Thomas to the rescue for ultimate redemption

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thomas to the rescue for ultimate redemption did not work the last time. Matter of fact, everyone, including Liam himself, seems to have forgotten what Thomas did for Liam by getting him out of jail. I was so hoping that when Liam was reciting Thomas' list of sins today, that Hope would have jumped in and reminded him that Thomas also got him out of prison.

      Delete
    2. Not much can be said after remembering he nearly killed him, kidnapped her (where was this helicopter even going 🀣 did we find out?) and was ready to do anything to allow Steffy to raise their stolen baby. He has to actually save her from being kidnapped and Beth from being stolen again to make up for everything. But he'd much rather pile new evils on 😁

      Delete
    3. Milla, everyone keeps bringing up those past list of evils EVEN THOUGH Liam himself had seemingly moved past it and was quite normal with Thomas pre-CPS drama. Liam even asked Thomas to take care of Hope and the kids when he was in jail. And when he got his freedom back because of what Thomas did, Liam (and Bill) were grateful and even became accepting of Thomas. This is why I feel like this whole hatred of Thomas from Liam came out of left field. They had moved past those things for a long time.

      Delete
    4. This comment has been removed by the author.

      Delete
    5. I don’t believe you can move on from that horror. They can’t show Liam endlessly harping on this since 2018, they need other storylines, but nobody can forget this kind of thing. And when Thomas gets too close to Hope it brings up the trauma. Especially when this is connected with other misdeeds of him.
And I know you love reminding about the jail thing, but big whoops once Thomas did the right thing. Having to give him props for the one time he was honorable only confirms it’s an exception. Not something to build the perception of his whole character on.

      Delete
    6. As long as Thomas' misdeeds are brought up, I will bring up his redemptive actions. It's only fair. After his brain surgery, Thomas has indeed changed from what he used to be even if noone wants to admit it. What Thomas did for Liam, he would have NEVER done pre-surgery. Even Hope told Liam that after she turned Thomas down when he tried to kiss her, he understood and did not pursue it any further. Pre-surgery, that would not have happened. Instead, we would have seen Thomas pretending to be kissing a Hope mannequin. A lot of things have changed with Thomas yet people still harp on what happened years ago pre-surgery, as if he would do those things again. Thomas is a completely different person now. Still flawed, yes, but not the way he was before.

      Delete
    7. Liam and bill went to jail because Thomas’s friend wanted to do him a favor so at least he can get them out
And when he killed emma and drugged liam and has the intentions to drug hope to sleep with they was no bleeding on his brain
The hematoma result was only the mannequin thing
The rest of his actions was only made by his hematoma free mind

      Delete
    8. But we would not know how hematoma-free his mind was. I don't know what a hematoma is but I'm sure it does not just show up one day just like that. It had to have been there for years, growing, like most tumors, aneurysms etc. So it may not be quite accurate to say that he had been hematoma-free all along, except for that one time in 2021 when he had to have surgery.

      Delete
    9. If it was there for years he would die
It was because he hit his head hard in the office i can give the episode number if you want it was shortly before the mannequin arrived to FC and he take it to his apartment
And IF the hematoma was there they would have discovered when he fell off the cliff because back then they did a full test and CT scans etc …
A hematoma is a bleeding inside the brain which applies a pressure on the brain cells and cause hallucinations and alot of effects and at the end a coma and death if the doctors don’t remove it

      Delete
    10. Elle, my understanding of what happened with the Thomas brain injury was that when he fell and hit his head on the coffee table, it resulted in some swelling in his brain or some sort of brain trauma that caused him to hallucinate for a few months. So Thomas was only in that hallucinating condition for a few short months, not years!! He had been doing evil acts loooong before he hit his head. The only result of the brain injury was mannequin-gate. He has killed people, manipulated people, attempted to kidnap Hope, lied about baby Beth, manipulated Douglas, etc, etc all during a time when his brain was completely “normal.” So I don’t understand why you and others always fall back on the brain injury as the excuse for bad Thomas behavior???? Those horrible things he did had zero to do with any brain injury.

    12. Elle the way you say "redemptive actions" like it is plural πŸ˜‚ love it! And since the surgery he has done still his fair share of evil. I think only his hallucinations were caused by his illness. Even with previous actors Thomas has been obsessed with Hope.

    14. Mmysh, you have such a great memory. I stand corrected. 😊
Like we both said though, his hallucinations were the outcome of his brain injury. His bad behavior….well that’s a whole other story. Thomas is just not a good egg. And I doubt the psychiatry sessions are going to result in anything permanent. We’ll see the old Thomas return soon I’m sure.

  11. Why is Steffy smiling when she says….”I think Liam is gonna freak out when he hears what Hope’s done.” I don’t know Steffy, do you find it comical that Hope and Liam’s marriage is gonna take a big hit based on what you did regarding Thomas? What a b*tch!!
Taylor - shut up, shut up, shut up!!
Thomas could literally shoot someone right in front of you, and you’d still sing his praises. You’re such a gullible, immature little girl!
Douglas needs to quit with the daddy and mommy living together thing. This is literally taking us down the exact same path as before. Gee, I wonder how this is all gonna play out?!! 😳😳😳
I think Douglas is going to end up being the primary wedge between Liam and Hope. Douglas needs to quit scheming when it comes to mommy and daddy living together / being a family! That’s why Douglas isn’t a big fan of Liam. Douglas sees Liam as an obstacle in getting his parents back together. Liam has been nothing other than kind and supportive when it comes to Douglas!
And Hope was way too snotty and defensive during her discussion with Liam. She should have apologized for changing her mind and been far more understanding about Liam’s reaction. She should not have had such an attitude when it was HER who changed the plan.

He is old enough ti understand that his mother is married to another man who is related to him and his mother loves him and they have a daughter
And liam was not but a good caring person towards Douglas
So this behavior is totally selfish and ungrateful
I hope he will not start manipulating the situation and starts acting bad with liam
Then i will not be sorry for him at all

    2. Mmysh, so true! We have all grown to really like Douglas. He has proven to be such a good kid most of the time. But I think he definitely takes after Thomas in wanting his parents to be together. Although it’s far more believable that a child would want that, as opposed to a grown man who still wants mommy and daddy back together. Still though, like you said…Douglas is old enough and mature enough to understand that Hope is married to Liam. End of story. If Douglas really starts trying to manipulate things, I will stop being a fan of the young lad.

    3. Liam was not a good caring peron to Douglas? What did I miss? Yes he is old enough to understand his mom and dad aren't married but you can't say he is selfish and ungrateful. At his age he wants everyone to get along, especially Mom and Dad. Liam is the one disrupting that.
Lynn, I think Stef is smirking because she still has feelings for Liam and is being a bitch that way. She would love to see that marriage break. I addressed the Douglas situation and don't think he is being selfish or ungrateful. And Hope was not being snotty and should not apologize for changing her mind. She had time to think about how it would affect other people losing their jobs, her dream and career. Liam wants to be in control and that can be just as deadly as Thomas's obsession.

    4. D - I didn’t say Liam wasn’t being a good caring person to Douglas. I said just the opposite. Liam has always been extremely caring and supportive of Douglas. Even when Douglas has disrespected Liam, Liam always takes the high road when it comes to Douglas.

      Delete
    5. D - wanting his mommy and daddy to get along and wanting them to all live together as a family are two different things. You may have fast-forwarded past Douglas telling his dad he wants Hope and Thomas to live together in the same house so they can be a family. It’s not OK that Douglas is trying to push that agenda. That is not on the table as an option.

      Delete
    6. D - I don’t think Thomas and Hope “getting along” should have anything to do with them working together. As someone pointed out earlier (I think it was Milla)…most mom’s and dad’s don’t work together. Douglas should be happy if his mom and dad can simply be respectful and supportive of one another.
Douglas clearly has other ideas about the way he wants all this to turn out. He is hoping that if they work together, they will end up married. Just a silly little boy’s pipe dream.

    7. And I don’t agree at all on Hope’s behavior. If my spouse promised me one thing, then came home and told me he did the complete opposite of what he committed to doing, I would NOT be happy. And I would expect my husband to be humble and apologetic. Not snarky and rude.
I still think Hope was out out of line in her recent interaction with Liam. She probably should have told him after the initial conversation that she couldn’t agree to what Liam was asking of her. Or at the very least, she needed some more time to think about it. Then he wouldn’t have felt let down when she came home and told him Thomas was back.

    11. I don’t think Hope should have to apologise for changing her mind. She made the initial decision under extreme pressure from Liam. When she had time to think it over and heard what her mum had to say and had no pressure she decided what she wanted for herself.

I understand Liam trying to protect her and their family. However, it won’t be good for their marriage or for Douglas if he’s constantly bad mouthing Thomas. He needs to be watchful but supportive of Hope.

    12. BBFan I can make the case that the extreme pressure was coming from none other than Dr Hays. She had inserted herself there and pushing. Brooke also didn’t help. Liam had every right with everything he said about Thomas. If any of us was in his shoes we would have pressed charges against him, to the very least. I only hope he isn’t sorry again for yet again giving in.

    13. Douglas has always wanted his parents together, ever since he was a little kid. He has also never shown a lot of favor toward Liam. If it's one thing that the show has remained constant with, it's this! So why is everyone now so upset with poor Douglas? He is just being his usual honest and truthful self. Something that everyone gave him accolades for not too long ago.

      Delete
    14. I personally am not upset with him but believe that his parents (unless they fall in love) should make it a point to ensure he knows parents not together not meaning anything less in terms of love for him. Otherwise he will just turn into another bitter Thomas who when he’s 40 still stomps his foot about mommy and daddy together or else.

      Delete
    15. Thomas did, in fact, bring up Liam being his mother's husband and told Douglas that he needed to respect that. He also told him that even if he (Thomas) and Hope don't get along, that he (Douglas) is loved, no matter what. I thought it was good of Thomas to have that little conversation with the little guy. I guess we will see if Douglas actually listened to him and starts treating Liam better.

We have to understand as well that Liam is constantly bad-mouthing Thomas and Douglas knows this, which is why he probably doesn't like Liam much. We all know how much he loves his dad, so in Douglas' mind, Liam is the enemy.

      Delete
    16. So when did liam bad mouthing thomas in front of Douglas???

      Delete
    17. I still don’t understand where you get that Douglas doesn’t like Liam. Of course he prefers his dad but I don’t see dislike of Liam. I loved their conversation when Douglas was leaving for Steffy‘s.
And yes Thomas did say that and he has in the past had such moments but I believe for it to stick it has to be consistent. But Thomas so far always gave in to his feelings for Hope. Maybe this time he will be more consistent.

      Delete
    18. Mmysh, it's one of those off-screen things. Douglas told his dad that he knows Liam doesn't like him that much (or something along those lines). How would a child pick up on that? It has to be that he hears the things Liam says whenever he and Hope are discussing Thomas. Children quite often hear things that adults say even when we think they are not around and listening.

@Milla Douglas is not responsive to Liam the way he is to everyone else. Whenever we see Liam try to have a conversation with Douglas, Douglas always looks disinterested in what Liam is saying. He doesn't show him love the way he shows Hope or Steffy or anyone else love. When Liam went over to Eric's to bring him home, Douglas didn't jump for joy. He was quite adamant that he did not want to go back to the cabin. When Liam brought him over to FC to meet Hope and Thomas, Douglas ran over to them and started going on and on about them spending the weekend together as a family. Douglas is not considerate of Liam or his feelings one bit. That's why I say that he doesn't like Liam.

      Delete
    19. All the examples you say only confirm what I already said "of course he prefers his dad". He didn't want to leave Eric's so why would he jump of joy? But if he had a problem with Liam, a real one and not just preferring his Dad for Hope, this would be thematized.

    20. Something that big and important sure they would show it at least one time
Every time liam and hope speaks about thomas its either the kids are not at home or already sleeping
And they always show us when someone overheard or spying
      But we never saw Douglas
And also liam when speaking about thomas there is nothing he would say Douglas doesn’t already know
So no i don’t think he heard liam or saw him
Or we can speculate anything we want and say its off screen
The only reason Douglas sometimes doesn’t treat liam well because he sees him as an obstacle between his parents

    21. BBFAN, While I agree that Hope can make her own decisions and doesn’t “answer” to Liam, the courteous / respectful thing for her to do would be to apologize to her husband for letting him down. She told Liam she would reject Thomas, then changed her mind. So Liam was very disappointed and confused. That’s what she should be apologizing for. Not because she wants to save her line and rehire Thomas, but because her husband felt let down. Her cockiness / attitude in the discussion with Liam after she told him seemed unfair to Liam. She respects Liam and doesn’t want to hurt him, so why be a bitch when you are already letting him down by rehiring Thomas?

      Delete
    22. Douglas has no reason to dislike Liam other than the fact that in his mind, Liam is the obstacle keeping his parents apart. Liam is in the way in Douglas’ eyes it seems. But Liam has always been extremely gracious and kind when it comes to Douglas.

      Delete
    23. I think Hope should have been much kinder in her approach with Liam. She came across as very bitchy. He was under the impression she was going to turn Thomas down based on the prior discussion, then Hope changed the plan and acted angry with Liam because he was upset. I simply think she could have handled it much better out of respect for Liam’s feelings about the whole thing.

      Delete
    24. Exactly Lynn on both points. And I think Douglas and Liam have a good relationship. If it was any other way, Douglas would be more vocal, Hope would notice, it would be a thing. Douglas simply wants his parents together which Thomas, if he wants to avoid him growing up bitter like himself and obsessed in his 40s, shouldn't encourage. The way he last spoke to Douglas should be the way he raises him.

Hope was in distress because she knows Liam has every right and has sound logic and history on his side whereas she has desperation to save her line. But you're right she should have dialed back the attitude. But in the end Liam was smart and kind. And in the last episode with Deacon and Wyatt he said it perfectly - it doesn't help him to push back and he won't let Thomas stand between them. I loved that.
