OKAY, Elmira (Sheila) really got nasty with Deacon, today! Meanwhile, we have to wait for indecisive Hope to make a decision about Thomas, I suppose tomorrow we shall have an answer. Bill, reveals if Sheila doesn't stay true to him, she will put her back in the can or finish her off, that will certainly be a challenge for Sheila, since he has her life in his hands.
Doesn't make sense for Sheila to risk it all yet. That was some harsh light at Deacon's place, they both looked like ancient mariners. Everyone tells Bill to put Sheila back in jail but she's been aquitted of the crimes. They can't go back on the judge Bill bought and paid for, he may need him again. So would they frame her to get put back in jail? If she's such a mastermind she would plan a little better. She seems to be in her element when she's escaping jail, maybe that's her only fun challenge.
Sheila has not been acquitted of any of her crimes because she was never charged for any of them due to Steffy and Finn refusing to press charges. They can still decide to go to the police and give statements implicating Sheila in attempted murder. Sheila is being kept out of prison by Bill for now, but make no mistake, Steffy and Finn can send her away for a very long time if Bill decides that he is no longer going to protect her.
To charge Sheila, Steffy would have to admit that she lied in the earlier proceedings. Sorta dampens Steffy's fun. Steffy's motivation right now is to suddenly decide Thomas is a great guy so he will work at Forrester (and constantly hint that the Hope that works there is better than the HOPE mannequin he has at home.) Steffy wants him too busy to be at her house all the time pretending he wants to see Douglas.
Haven't watched at all this week just followed the comments on here. Did they give any timeline to when Deacon's grand opening is? That"s when 💩 will hit the fan. Bill is not in this for Sheila and I don't believe Deacon is either. He knows Forresters are going to be there...it all makes no sense or will be a twisted plot between Deacon and Bill?
D, not sure, but I think it will b soon.. I think when Steffy and Finn see her their, they will watch her like a hawk and pick up something between her and Deacon.. I agree Ell, I don’t know laws over there, but, even if that was the case, all she has to say is she was being blackmailed?? Or just that she wasn’t ready at that time to press charges..
I think Hope is being selfish here. I understand that she has personal feelings about Thomas and what he did to her mum… understandably so. However, is she really ready to make all the people who work on her line, ones that have been loyal and hardworking, to make them redundant?? Unlike her they don’t have trust funds or a wealthy husband and family to fall back on. I cannot believe she is willing to risk all of their livelihoods because she is cross with Thomas.
I don’t believe he’s turned into a saint or even a particularly good person. However he’s more than proven himself at work. Any parenting or personal issues need to stay separate from work.
I can’t watch Sheila anymore ugh. I do hope that Thomas and Liam team up to catch her out. Thomas is good at scheming and Liam could use some of his tech skills to get her on video or something, so Bill cannot rationalise or deny it.
But Steffy has given Hope an ultimatum she was not prepared for. And only because suddenly she has realized only with Thomas there can be Hftf. Previously when Hope asked if it’s time to bring him back she was dead set against it. If I have been put through so many hells as Hope by Thomas I’d see it as blackmail to be again and again pushed back to him or my line is dead. She understands numbers speak, but it’s normal she’s desperate to consider other possibilities. You can’t separate the business from the personal when 1. it’s a family company with everybody entangled with each other so much and 2. when you have someone repeatedly and repeatedly act maliciously. All I’m saying is that considering all her story and state of mind as a result, Hope cannot be seen as a robot flipping between yes and no on the switch. When she says yes to Thomas back, we shouldn't forget she's saying Yes also to uneasiness in her marriage. Btw Liam seems to be getting close to some idea of how to get rid of Sheila. At long last.
Also, I do not like how Taylor is fully inserting herself into all this. Taylor should not be making business decisions for FC. It is NOT her company. And without all the pressure from Taylor, Steffy would have never offered Thomas his position back. Taylor took a family matter and transformed it into a business decision. And Steffy’s whim shouldn’t be shoved down Hope’s throat. She needs time to think - just like she said. Please let’s hear some specifics about how Thomas is “bettering himself.” We hear the same ol’ crap constantly. And we’ve heard it all for years. Lots and lots and lots of broken / empty promises by Thomas. This time will be NO DIFFERENT than the rest!! It would have been a much easier pill to swallow if the show would have shown Thomas meeting with a skilled psychiatrist during some of the past episodes….but we got nothin’!! And now we’re supposed to believe he’s miraculously healed??!! Oh you mean like how Sheila has miraculously healed and is no longer an evil plotting monster??!!! Lol. NOT!!!!
Excellent points, Lynn. Also, it was the entire FC board that decided to fire Thomas. So now, Steffy brings him back because of Taylor & doesn't consult with anyone else at FC? Then, blindsides Hope with the news. Also, when you factor in that Steffy could keep Douglas from Hope if she doesn't give Thomas yet another chance, Hope will probably feel she has to work with Thomas again...
So true, Renee. Like you said, this is going to affect the whole Douglas dynamic as well. It’s turning into a slippery slope for poor Hope. 😔😔 And I continue to be disgusted with Taylor’s “psychiatry” skills. She literally has NONE!!! I mean come on….her “world renowned” advice is to “Find the love.” Too dang ridiculous! Just once, I would like to seeTaylor actually act professional and truly give some sound advice, rather than acting like a giddy, naive young girl. I can see Taylor’s character as a yoga instructor, or something of the sort. But definitely not a ‘World Famous’ psychiatrist!! 🤮🤮🤮
Omg yes, Taylor is so cringe 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ why is she there besides to embarrass herself? Why is the *constantly* at FC anyway?? And Lynn spot on about the decision to fire him being by whole board and now Steffy alone making ultimatums. What about Eric's view? Or Ridge's? None of them are shown.
Milla, so true. And like Renee and you pointed out…none of the other board members even weighed in on the decision. Taylor is way out of her lane here. Mary Sunshine can want her kids to play nice, but she needs to leave the business decisions to Eric, Ridge and Steffy. I wonder if this is going to cause a rift between the two besties….Brooke and Taylor?
Lynn for sure, if Hope doesn’t go with it. Brooke would always support her daughter, especially when it comes to not trusting Thomas yet again because they say so. Interesting times ahead (hopefully). I must admit I’m looking forward to some drama and less giggles 😅. Do you know that back in very early 2000s in the promos of BB they always ended with "The drama is always on" 😂 back then it was also true.
LOL, Lynn. Are you intuitive or what? Krista Allen IS a licensed yoga instructor! She surfs, also does pilates, is vegan, an animal welfare advocate and has a 26 year old son. Taylor is inappropriately in Forrester business because of the poor writing - they can’t figure what else to do with the character besides making her Brooke’s unbelievable constant companion … same with why it appears Thomas is returning when he should be starting his own fashion house and why Deacon suddenly owns Il Giardino and craves Sheila when she was just an annoyance before. You live in the LA area, please apply for a job as a writer there - it’s gotta be a part time gig. Ha.
BBFan, I do not blame Hope in this situation. She was the one person that put 100% trust and belief in Thomas before. Against her mother and against her own husband. What Thomas did would have hit her really hard because she literally put him above everyone else. I understand her caution right now. And as someone above said, she has to think of Liam and how he would feel about her and Thomas working together again.
I am sure that deep down, Hope wants Thomas back as Head Designer for the very reasons you indicated (the livelihood of the employees) because she used those very reasons when she first approached Steffy about bringing Thomas back however, making a rash decision about it can mean a lot of personal upheaval in her life. I think Steffy should be able to give her a day or two to think about it and talk to her husband as well. After all, it has been months that the line has been underperforming. Surely, they can wait another day or 2.
Unknown you’re right, it’s bad writing plain and simple that’s put Taylor there. She has nothing to do with the business, she’s technically not even a Forrester. Even if she was married to Ridge, she has no say so as any sort of business stakeholder. This isn’t Kindergarten or "bring your mommy to work" day. She should go do her supposed counseling at which she's apparently also not so amazing.
@ Unknown, that is funny about Krista Allen. She does have a very “earthy” vibe to her. And while I think that is wonderful (the animal rights advocate in particular), I don’t think Krista was appropriately cast to replace Hunter Tylo. If the writers had any sense at all, they would read the blogs for feedback and plot ideas…but it seems they don’t. Instead, they continue to disappoint. We all hold out hope that the stories will improve. I think most of us could come up with better plot twists than the supposed ‘professionals.’ 😁😁😁
I see your point about Hope and she was Thomas’s most staunch supporter in the past. I do empathise with her truly she’s in a difficult position.
She would need a whole new young fresh designer to fill Thomas’s shoes.
The stuff Zende and Eric created was suited to the couture line. I agree with PP that the look and feel of HFTF is unrecognisable from the original. However since the line is failing it needs to change any way.
For Hope’s sake, I’m hoping she can move past it enough to have Thomas back at HFTF. I’m not saying she should trust him in any other capacity, especially when it comes to Douglas.
One can only hope Thomas is making a genuine effort to be a better person and work on his issues. That said if he is on the sociopath side, no amount of therapy will give him genuine feelings or recalibrate his broken moral compass. I hope for Douglas’s sake that he is sincere and actually working hard on himself.
I agree that it would be helpful to actually see him in a therapy session then get a glimpse at his thoughts as he walks out. Especially if they want the storyline to be credible. Although, it would be more fun that he’s all Mr sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns with the therapist and we hear him scheming on his way out .
I don’t believe for a second that Steffy would use Douglas as pawn to force the issue. Thomas so would, but not Steffy.
Elle, I agree, I blame Carter also.. He was not objective because of Katie.. I believe if Katie wasn’t in his orbit, he would have thought about the implications to the business and advised against letting Thomas go.. Maybe he would have suggested Thomas work remotely for the time being.. He had a responsibility to the business, not to Katie because of her sister.. And Bbfan, I think Hope is genuinely concerned for her employees, and you are absolutely correct, Steffy would definately NOT use Douglas in any way, especially where business is concerned.. Hopefully Hope will have time to make up her mind and talk to Liam.. I can’t imagine Steffy would make her decide without talking to Liam, knowing how he feels about Thomas..
@BBFan I wonder how Sheila will be finished off, everytime we think she is finished off we end up finding her at Genoa City and then back to B&B again. Haven't the writers used every scheming trickery idea for Sheila? It's time for Sheila to retire for good.
Every soap has to have a resident "baddie." That makes the (just as bad other people) someone to compare to themselves and how "it's different when they do it" the crummy lousy stuff the so called good people think is ok when they do it.
How about actually letting her go to jail to pay for her crimes while having her be professionally treated for her mental issues? That way, we won't have to see her on our screens until maybe many years later when the show is boring and we need Sheila to spice it up. By that time, she will be much older and she can come back as someone who has reformed and can actually be a law-abiding member of society.
Sheila is a villain we love to hate. I wish they would let her do more intricate and diabolical schemes instead of this boring rubbish she’s doing now. We used to see her plotting and scheming etc it was far more fun. This whole pining for Deacon this is just 🥱.
TY Bob. The video was excellent. Hope was so selfish in this program today. She is always a spoiled child. Taylor was capable of making Steffy reason which I liked. Steffy always makes the right decisions. Now Deacon should tell Bill so they can lock up Sheila!!
@Tina I don't know if you have been catching the rumor talk that on the internet but some of the soap opera websites are saying coming soon Brooke & Taylor as a couple (aka Braylor), that going to be freaky weird if that is going to happen. One website said how will Hope & Steffy be able to handle that. I don't want that to happen on this soap, I'm afraid that Bradley Bell has lost his mind completely.
I think Taylor did a good job with Steffy and Thomas by practically forcing them to work out their issues. We finally got to hear how Thomas' actions have affected his sister who had looked up to him all her life. We also learnt that Thomas is seeing a therapist so there is hope that he can really turn around a new leaf and be a good Head Designer, but more importantly, a good father to Douglas.
I also loved how Steffy included her mom in the decision she made concerning Thomas. It reminded me of the days long ago when Stephanie would fight to keep the Forrester legacy going and away from being infiltrated by the Logans. She would always have these family meetings in that very office with all of them sitting around the table. This is Forrester Creations and I feel like they really need to get back to having the Forresters in control like it used to be back in the day.
Thanks Bob, for helping me Keep my favorite soap addiction alive. Hoping Sheila's day are numbered. Liam is now on a roll to get to the bottom of Bill's relationship with Sheila.
Brooke, not long ago asked Thomas son, Douglas to lie about her kissing Deacon in the home she share with Ridge and no one fired her or treated her the way Thomas is being treated like a person that can't be trusted!!
I will miss Sheila, she is always rehired when the shows are becoming boring!! I love the Sheila character she make the show INTERESTING!! Also, I want to add with Sheila what you see is what you get, not a Hypocrite like the people that think they are better than people like Sheila, etc.!!!!!
I don't think Hope is being selfish. I think she just needs a little time to consider this decision. She has given Thomas so many chances. I think she has to do it for the line to continue, but we all know it's only a matter of time before Thomas does something bad again. Deacon is a fool to risk everything for Sheila. He really dodged a bullet hiding that psycho at his place for so long. Now he has the restaurant. A chance to get some respect. Just like Liam told Bill. There are plenty of other women out there. And when Bill finds out, he will probably try to kill them both. Bill is not one to be played behind his back.
I agree , she needs time to make a decision this big, and needs to talk to Liam, I just hope that Liam supports her this time.. He needs to understand it’s business and all Hope ever wanted was support from Liam in that area, but I am guessing trouble is comming!!
Sheila gives me the creeps. I think Bill will keep a close look on what Sheila is doing in her spare time !! He is acting really weird. Poor kind Hope ... Douglas no no he has not changed one bit
