ReplyDeleteBrooke has every right to be upset!! She has a right to be upset with Taylor. And she has a right to be upset with Ridge. She needs to confront Ridge like she confronted Taylor.
And of course she spied on them. She wanted to see what would happen if she didn’t interrupt.
Ridge needs a stern talking to. His behavior is way out of line. If Brooke were doing the same with Bill or Deacon, Ridge would be furious. I hope Brooke follows through with that talk and doesn’t treat him like everything is fine.
Carter and Hope have potential. Let’s see where this goes.
I agree, Lynn. Ridge is too smart to think that he's not doing anything that will hurt his relationship with Brooke. Or is he.....🙄
DeleteRidge needs a stern talking to? Brooke spied the entire session AND Ridge's face was in full view. Surely, she could see Ridge's emotions all over his face and the way he was looking at Taylor. Why should Brooke be angry at Taylor? She has done nothing inappropriate. This was all Ridge. If I were Brooke, I would kick him to the curb. It's the same chit he did last year and I would have told him that I'm no longer putting up with it. But you see, Brooke doesn't blame Ridge so she would never see that what he's doing is wrong.
DeleteJ, Ridge knows very well the history between these 2 women. He also knows that Brooke wanted to try being friends with Taylor again. So why would he even want to put himself in such close proximity with his ex-wife? Could it be a matter of him being territorial with Taylor and not wanting Brooke to get too close to her?
DeleteElle, Taylor didn’t do anything wrong?? LOL. She was looking at Ridge with those puppy dog love-sick eyes the entire session. Not to mention she called Ridge at work and asked him to come right over. She needs to deal with this on her own. Having the source of heartache so close is clearly a bad idea. But she is wanting to continue to spend time with Ridge. Saying Taylor is innocent in all this is ridiculous. She has spent more time with Ridge than anyone else since she returned to LA. And most of that was Taylor showing up at FC - just stopping by so she could surprise Ridge. Taylor is sooooooo playing this situation to her full advantage. Not to mention telling Ridge the happiest times of her life were with him being a family. And how he is the love of her life. Bahahaha….yeah, Taylor is soooooo innocent. NOT!!!

And Ridge isn’t territorial when it comes to Taylor. LMAO! He has told her multiple times she needs to share the news of her condition with everyone, so her entire family can be supportive of her. But Taylor refused MULTIPLE times to come clean. If anyone is territorial it is Taylor….as she only wants Ridge to know and no one else. That way he is the ONLY ONE who can help her. She has put Ridge in a very difficult position and that’s why he kept telling Taylor to tell others! Now that Taylor has herself convinced that Ridge still loves her and in her head…may still want her, she is FINALLY agreeing to tell others. As I said, both Taylor and Ridge are to blame here.
And Brooke has every right to be upset with both of them.If she gives Ridge a get out of jail free card, I will be hugely disappointed in her.
I definitely think Ridge’s ego likes the attention and the idea of having such a profound effect on Taylor. But everything I see tells me Ridge is still very much committed to his relationship with Brooke. As soon as that session was over, he high-tailed it out of there!! That alone told me he is honoring his commitment to Brooke.
J - my gut tells me Ridge is still going to be faithful to Brooke. But his behavior has crossed far too many lines.

DeleteAnd I disagree about Taylor dealing with her condition on her own. That's the worst idea. She needs people around her. Colly was right when she said that Taylor felt embarrassed about her condition. Taylor pretty much said the same thing today when she apologized to Ridge for asking him to keep the secret.
And who said the source of her heartache is Ridge? That has not been determined. Matter of fact, the Shondra lady identified a number of things that could have caused it, including the death of a loved one.
I really do not see Taylor going after Ridge. She might be enjoying his company but she isn't going after him. You were probably so focused on Ridge leaving right after the session that you didn't realize it was Taylor who gave him the cue to leave when she told him she feels drained. Ridge then asked if she wanted him to clean up and she told him no, that he could leave. Ridge was more than willing to stick around.
I personally don’t think Taylor is trying to manipulate Ridge back into her life. I really do think this was innocent on her behalf this time. I do think Ridge stepped over the line by going this far into helping Taylor. I wouldn’t be ok with Taylor sitting on Ridges lap like that. It been different if Taylor would have allowed Ridge to tell Brooke & she was aware. That’s something you should communicate with your partner. I definitely think Brooke needs to go off on Ridge too.

He chose to stay, he organised the session, he went to great lengths to find something that would help her, and studied all about it, knew all the poses etc.. He “wanted” to help her, she did not ask him for all or any of that!! “he chose” to do all of this.. She told Brooke straight away what happened, and why he was there, and what did Brooke do, scoffed at her and laughed at her, then made accusations! Which is exactly what I predicted and would react, and you wonder why Taylor didn’t want her to know! She should not have been there in the first place spying and loitering.. And no Taylor is not trying to get Ridge back, and does not have it in her head that he still loves her and she has a chance with him.. She already knows he loves her!! And the therapist confirmed it!! Brooke is scared because she knows he loves Taylor, and would do anything for her.. You can’t blame Taylor for that, she can’t control Ridges feelings, and his feelings were on full display today!

I said 2 plus weeks ago that clearly Taylor was embarrassed and I got told she wasn’t by someone(s). I’ve always thought she was embarrassed. So of course I agree with that. But that’s got nothing to do with the position she put Ridge in by insisting he tell NO ONE. As I said in my earlier comment, Taylor should be turning to Steffy and Thomas for support. Ridge is the alcohol and Taylor is the alcoholic in this scenario. So having Ridge be solely responsible for helping her heal is absurd.

And what makes you think Ridge knew about the pose that the instructor told Taylor to get in? That pose suggestion came from the instructor. Ridge did not suggest it or even know it as far as we saw.
And she didn’t call Ridge and demand him to come right over!! She told him she was at Steffy’s and “asked” him if he could come over to Steffy’s to see her, he responded with right now, and she said if he can or if he is not busy, something along those lines.. He said he could and would be right over!! And she also said, she didn’t want to keep him..

DeleteLynn, Taylor DID NOT ask Ridge to help her heal, or for anything, other than not to tell anyone, and she absolutely has the right to do so.. If she doesn’t want anyone to know she is entitled to that.. She said she was grateful that she could talk to him about.. When he said he made all those calls, and found someone who could help her, she responded by saying she’s grateful but he didn’t have to do all that, she also has not asked him to help her in anyway, other than to talk.. Since the day she passed out, and was diagnosed, which was the same day, she has not been seen at Forrester, or with Ridge anywhere, nor talking to him on the phone, or calling him.. This was the first time and first call that it’s shown her to have any contact since the diagnoses.. So all the fuss about her relying on Ridge to help her etc is rediculous!!

DeleteWish I could say i was on vacation, just been really busy and this weekend was our Thanksgiving long weekend. Watched bits and pieces last week and todays. Lynn, Brooke has every right to be upset with Ridge, but why Taylor? Ridge is the one imposing himself, researching, and had this session all planned, but she's looking at him with puppy dog sick eyes?? She wanted to deal with this on her own, it's Ridge who is insisting he is there for her. There was one scene today, around 9:13? It sounded like he said he loves her. I could be wrong. She has so far called him once, that I have seen, and if it seems like she has spent more time with Ridge it's because he is always right there and in her face, and it's his decision to be "way to accommodating". I don't think he is totally committed to Brooke. Don't think he knows the word commitment. Who ever mentioned Brooke's creepy spying through the window, I agree. It was a real Sheila moment.

For years, Brooke made a fool of herself trying to get Ridge away from Taylor. Ridge even got into a fake relationship with Brooke just to get her to sign over her intellectual rights to BeLief to him. Even as recently as just after the Brooke/Deacon kiss, Ridge spent an enormous amount of time with Taylor and planned to divorce Brooke without even letting her know. You can bring up what Thomas did with CPS but, Ridge didn't have to treat Brooke the way he did. I think it's time you stop focusing on what Taylor is doing or feeling and stop justifying Ridge's actions by saying "oh, he's a stupid man," and start questioning why Ridge continues to disrespect Brooke. These 3 have a history and without knowing that history, you can't say that Ridge only loves Brooke, especially since he's been showing a lot more love to Taylor with little to no regard for how Brooke might feel. Taylor isn't the only grown adult here, Ridge is too.

Someone Taylor’s age - in her 50’s does not die from a broken heart. The odds are VERY slim. And it’s not like Taylor is all alone. She has her kids and grandkids to keep her going.
As I said earlier, every single one of us has experienced a broken heart at some point in our lives. Do you have any idea how many millions and millions of cases go undiagnosed?? And people aren’t dropping like flies!!!

I'm not trying to paint Taylor as an innocent little doe. The last time she was in LA, I was one of those who called her out for her constant flirting. She was not as active in getting Ridge back as Steffy and Thomas were but I called her out on her flirting and touching. This time, I am not seeing anything even remotely close to what happened before. In my opinion, she is being very respectful of Ridge and Brooke. Ridge is the one who is being disrespectful is all I'm saying.
DeleteThat’s the thing Elle, I do see them both behaving in a very questionable way. You have to realize that now that Taylor isn’t dying, this puts a different spin on everything. Taylor thought she had no future with Ridge because she herself had no future. But now that she knows that is not the case, her thinking about the future with Ridge could be very different. As I stated, we will just have to wait and see.

DeleteSteffy did not shamelessly go after Liam. Liam came to her claiming that it was over between him and Hope. That was a very different state of affairs. Hope knew that Finn and Steffy were happily married yet, decided to pursue him anyway.
Brooke can certainly deal with Ridge and what she witnessed him doing but, when it comes to Taylor, Brooke has no right. And it's not even about what happened in the past but about the simple fact that Brooke saw Ridge being intimate with Taylor. Ridge is the one who's involved with Brooke and that's who she should take issue with, not Taylor. She thinks Taylor is being manipulative. Brooke has always blamed Taylor for everything despite it always being Ridge chasing her.. Taylor has never tried to take Ridge away from Brooke.. He goes chasing her..

DeleteI think Ridge feels a big responsability as the cause of “some” of Taylor’s pain.. With everything they have been through, him losing her, and her losing him, being kidnapped, shot, and especially losing phoebe, and that is why he is so committed to helping Taylor through this.. He organised this, not Taylor.. And I will say again, since the day Taylor collapsed, and they got the diagnosis, that same day, I have not seen Taylor anywhere near Ridge, or call Ridge until this day when.. Once!! As for Brooke, she had no right to be there unannounced, or uninvited, and certainly not to enter the house without knocking.. She absolutely was loitering and spying.. It’s not ok for Taylor to do it, but it’s ok for Brooke to do it?? She could see someone else was there, so surely she is not that stupid.. As Elle, said, Brooke could clearly see Ridges face.. It is all too easy to blame Taylor.. Taylor was straight up honest with Brooke, told her, and how does Brooke react, by mocking her and laughing at her.. This is not a joke and is a serious condition.. And as I said, Brooke reacted exactly how I said she would.. She is going off on Taylor, when it is Ridge she should be talking to..

DeleteFor one thing, LA is Taylor's home.
Secondly, Ridge is her family, together with their kids so, if she has to lean on anyone, it's them, including Ridge.
Thirdly, Taylor did not even want Ridge to know that she had heart failure, she wanted noone to know. She just wanted to come home, be with her family, and die around her loved ones.
Fourthly, Taylor did not even plan this, nor did she know anything about it. It was all sprung on her by Ridge!
Taylor has done nothing wrong or inappropriate, it has all been Ridge. So she goes to FC. Big whoop. That's where her family works. Why lock herself away in Steffy's huge beach house when she can spend her last days (or so she thought) with her family?
The only ulterior motive Taylor had was to come home to die being around her family.

The fans are a lot like Brooke, ignore Ridges actions, blame Taylor, accuse Taylor, get defensive🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Brooke had no right to even be there in the first place, unannounced and uninvited!! But it’s ok to them, why, because it’s Brooke?? It’s obvious after today how much he does love Taylor.. The way he looked at her, the crying, the whole thing.. Infact, he was more emotional and cried as much as her if not more.. My argument is not that the pose wasn’t intimate, it is that Taylor is not to blame, and Brooke is barking at the wrong person!

However, it doesn’t change the fact, that although Taylor isn’t perfect, she runs cartwheels around Brooke, as in the type of person she has and is written to be!! She has always put others first, unlike Brooke who is selfish and will step on her own flesh and blood daughter and sister for a man!! And not just once!

And yes, Elle, why didn’t she 🤔 because she doesn’t see that HE did anything wrong, it is all Taylor’s fault.. She never blames Ridge.. Let’s him get away with everything, just to hold on to him.. Taylor isn’t perfect, but she will always be the far better person than Brooke would ever be! Brooke is certainly not a Maserati imo!!

He’s a fine one to give his opinion, especially when he was sneaking around playing “pickleball” with Donna and still married to Quinn. Brooke is so insecure she has to run and complain to Eric, her ex-husband, about his son. She is a miserable excuse of womanhood beholden to all the men in her life!
