DeletePlease, Hope, don't go down that Liam road again. We all know if something happens to Finn, Liam will be at Steffy's door trying to get back with her. And, if something happens to Paris, Hope will go running back to Thomas. Co-parent, don't get back together.

ReplyDeleteI don't know Elle. Maybe its supposed to lead up to something?? Or it was just a filler ep., until they figure out where they're going with the SL. It's really a waste of 1/2 hr.

DeleteI was thinking the same?? It’s seems foreshadowing to me?? Maybe a big shake up with all the characters, or maybe the show got axed? Wouldn’t surprise me if it did? Or… Like you said D, just fillers!!
DeleteFans of the show, and in particular, fans of Tridge, have always said that since Bell Jr. took over, he practically changed history making it seem that Taylor was never truly loved by Ridge and that Brooke was always his soulmate. However, we all know how deeply Ridge loved Taylor and was completely broken when she supposedly died (when Omar kidnapped her). Maybe the writers are trying to bring that back.
DeleteEric surprisingly, was open about how Ridge and Taylor's marriage affected the children and, Ridge and Steffy's chat seemed to be about how Ridge truly feels about Taylor. I noticed Ridge DID NOT answer Steffy's question about why he and Taylor are not together.
So maybe, this is all about Taylor's broken heart and about what is going on with Hope. Now that Liam is once again showing interest, we will see where Hope's heart truly lies. It would be a good time for Thomas to return!
I would imagine MA’s maternity leave would be ending shortly!! So 🤞!! Elle, we have been saying all along since Bell jr took over, that he completely flipped history!! And I think the whole reason the original Taylor HT, wouldn’t come back, is because of that exact reason!! Taylor was always number one in Ridges life.. I said recently, Bell senior always made Brooke out the way she was and that’s how she earned that title!! Maybe Bell junior is finally going to go the way his father went!! It’s going to take something big to bring this show back from the brink..
DeleteRemember the big 35yr anniversary episode, Bell made the whole episode about Brooke, no one else!! How insulting that would have been to other long standing characters!! And since the show is based around a fashion house founded by Forresters, you would think if they were going to make it about anyone, they would have centred around Eric and Ridge??

ReplyDeleteThey do look alike and I wondered the same thing. However, I believe the actress who plays Kelly has a foreign accent. I've heard it before. Who knows?
DeleteElle, you know I never noticed Kellie’s accent!! But they cast the girls perfectly, you wouldn’t know they were not sisters in real life, they certainly look like sisters on the show!!

DeleteWhen they were talking about Steffy and the effects Ridge's leaving had on her, Brooke said that Ridge always tried to be there for his kids. Eric agreed then said "BUT....", then he said "you see where I'm going with this." Sounded to me like he was confirming that when Ridge and Taylor's marriage ended, Ridge was not with his kids as he should have been.
DeleteIt's something that we've always said about Ridge turning his back on his children and putting his main focus on Brooke. And I remember it's something that Steffy was dealing with when she and Bill were seeing each other. Bill was there for her and supported her through it. I was happy to see Eric also acknowledging the effect that Ridge leaving his family to be with Brooke had on his kids. 👏👏👏👏
Ell, I think this is the first time I have heard Eric actually go against Brooke about her and Ridge.. He all but said it was not the right time for Brooke to go after Ridge and the effect it had on his family and marriage with Taylor, even though it wasn’t just once.. She had to defend herself..

ReplyDeleteEric and Brooke have always been close so I didn't see anything wrong with the kiss. I also believe, now that Katie has made it clear she does not want Bill, that Brooke and Bill will end up back together. At least I hope so, and Brooke doesn't go after another sister's husband! Lol. Jk.

Ridge outs his hands all over Taylor and Brooke kisses Eric full on the mouth, and is all over Bill. Being affectionate is one thing… that is just too far!
