Milla, regarding Steffy's 'conquest' statement, I think she was trying to encourage Hope that all is not lost for her where another relationship is concerned. That someone will be along soon. Then, in walks Carter.
DeleteI was surprised when Katie said that Brooke hasn't been available for a long time so they couldn't test the theory of Bill wanting her. Did she forget it was just last year during Ridge and Brooke's separation that Bill rushed over to Brooke's proposing that they be together again? And when she let him down and went upstairs, he propositioned Katie as soon as she walked in the door? I know Bill's your guy but he's so fickle. As you mentioned, what happened to Poppy who he was supposedly so committed to, and was happy to have a family with her and Luna?
Love that Taylor is not dying but I think I can see where this is going. Ridge is going to want to help her mend her broken heart by being with her because he is going to feel bad about walking out on their wedding last year. I don't like it but I think this particular storyline is going to show us how Ridge truly feels about Taylor.
Elle I'll try to give Steffy the benefit of the doubt, even though the "you're a Logan" is never a sentiment of encouragement coming from her 😅 but yes for sure Carter walking in was the conquest she meant. I'm still not okay with that happening, just super weird to start something with your aunt's ex. And for him to go after the niece.
DeleteI think Katie hasn't forgotten what you mentioned and that's exactly what she means. When Bill professed his love for Brooke she was not emotionally available for him because of Ridge.
Bill will always be my guy 🥰 I think I feel similarly about him as you do Thomas 😀 and I think if he ever gets Brooke he won't want to let her go for anyone else. I think he never wanted anyone else more than her, when they were together he was all in.
And I'm all for Ridge and Taylor having their chance (especially now that I see signs of Bill and Brooke maybe happening), maybe that's the way for everyone to be happy - Taylor, Ridge, Steffy and Brooke and Bill.
But of course I would feel the same as you do - it's not the best idea for Taylor considering history. Him getting together with her only to break her heart again would be all kinds of cruel.

It's actually not that hilarious, some people lose their spouses after decades of marriage and the spouse that's left behind passes on shortly thereafter, they die of broken heart syndrome.Taylor lost her daughter so I am pretty sure that this is not about Ridge, being a shrink she probably never went to see anyone to deal with all her heartache. IF it does have to do with Ridge then she REALLY needs to see a shrink because I have NO idea what she sees in him 🤣

Seeing Ridge on regular TV, I realize how old he looks. And Taylor definitely does not look old enough to be Steffy’s mom.
Lynn indeed Steffy was out of line about what she said especially about Brooke. And honestly, at this point, Hope is just stupid for not standing up to her. Brooke is not a lingerie model. She is a highly educated Chemist, inventor (of belief formula) and businesswoman before she created the bedroom line. And oh the great influence of Taylor, don't even get me started.

And honesty ranks as the top in most any relationship. To keep that secret before exchanging vows would have been incredibly dishonest and Ridge would have been furious!

DeleteI’ve never been able to comment & have been watching from Bob’s blog for years😂 I had to hit web version. So hello everyone! I’m so tired of the Ridge-Brooke-Taylor love triangle. The writers lost creativity a long time ago. I’m not a Logan or Forrester lover as far as one over the other. I kind of love who isn’t being a B****. Steffy gets on my nerves & I definitely do not like her at all. I’ve always loved Brooke & Ridge together but I don’t dislike Taylor. I will say I’ve loved Hope over Steffy pretty much forever. I honestly would love to see Hope with Carter. Guarantee Steffy will still find a reason to interfere like she always does. Another thing concerning the kiss Hope planted on Finn…which was WRONG….such hypocrisy from Steffy though. She allowed Liam to kiss her 2x and kept her mouth shut. At least Finn loves her enough to tell her. More than I can say for Steffy.

So I believe her grief at losing a child, or two if you count the child carried and she gave birth to with Brooke’s egg, unknowingly, but still lost, because Brooke wanted to raise him, which didn’t happen.. Plus all the other things that happened, losing years with her family, forced to marry Omar, etc.. I don’t think it’s all related to Ridge, but I am sure the writers will make it all about him!!

According to spoilers, he is the fix it man. Kate told Ridge right, and right after she left, who show up... Non other than Brooke. I must have missed the show where the two set up the "bedroom'' meeting.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why Bell said in the spoiler, that he would have to kill Taylor off the show, but is now keeping her on. Also, Spoiler said Taylor found that it wasn't heart failure, but forgot to tell Ridge. He was sitting, and listening to the results.
