I can see Brooke trying to hide it from Ridge, Eric and Steffy because it will show that Carters about face is ALL about his personal relationship with Hope!! Not anything to do with what is best for Forrester!

DeleteAgree with all the comments above, and below. Carter is on a mission to overtake FC's and is using all the people he can to back him up, Logans and forgotten Forresters. But, the comment on one episode last week, Zende said to Will "soon you will be running this place"? Do Carter and Bill have a plan, that's why Carter said he would put up his own money to get this going? As someone said below, how much does he get paid for COO at Forrester to have that kind of money kicking around.Steffy isn't stupid and was questioning Carters sudden turn around about HFTF, Ridge maybe a little slow, but know I think he gets it. I don't think this is going to end well for Carter.

DeleteBBFan, it's no wonder Hope has this entitled complex. Brooke will stop at nothing to ensure that she has her way. I was happy that Ridge called her out on it when she said that Carter seems to be the only one supporting Hope. And I loved the answer Ridge gave her, that Hope has her mother to lean on. Cutting HFTF is not a personal decision, it's purely business so, even if they get rid of the line, Hope and Brooke have to understand that it was a business decision and not that noone wanted to support Hope. All Brooke has to do is be there for Hope if the line is cut.
DeleteCarter is now talking about bringing in investors and taking loans! Once that happens, it will no longer be a family run business. I really hope this does not come back to bite him. As COO, he's taking on more than he can chew. Nothing is wrong with expansion, but they should start small. If Jabot is willing to, they can form a partnership and see how that works.
Elle totally agree! The problem is Carter isn’t looking at partnering he wants to acquire them and form a conglomerate and as we’ve been saying that is completely different!

ReplyDeleteCarter has hidden millions stashed away to fund it? No wait take massive loans on a gamble when you cannot afford to fund your current lines? That’s terrible business advice!!!
The idea is not a bad one but FC is nowhere near ready to make that kind of move. Maybe they can start small. Even if they were to decide to take it all on at once, it would take years of development. It won't be something that they can just make happen immediately, which means that HFTF can still get the axe since it would make no sense pouring money into a non-revenue earner when they need every penny for such an expansion.
DeleteAlso, once they start bringing in investors, those investors might decide that Hope, maybe even Brooke, are no longer needed. If HFTF is cut, why are they paying Hope? BB is a success but do they really need Brooke? I don't think they are thinking about the long term repercussions here.

Mandy, this is history repeating itself. Brooke was relentless in getting Ridge, yet Taylor was the wrong one. Brooke was always up to something to make Taylor look bad. Now, Hope is doing the same with Steffy. Hope was the one that went after Liam when she cheated with him and got pregnant, demanding that Steffy leave Liam. Now again, Hope is the one that tried to seduce Finn yet, Steffy is the wrong one. I don't understand it.
