Steffy is protecting Hope. If she wanted to derail Hope's marriage she just had her chance. Finn? lol really just stuck his foot in his mouth. Then had a funny grin on his face in all those conversations, like he was amused by all this.

DeleteYes agree and I also think he knows where this will go if something does happen, he will be to blame. He is trying hard to prove he's changed but Hope is also changing and he will be blamed. At least Steffy sees it too, but it won't fly where Liam is concerned.

ReplyDeleteSteffy and Finn should take a hint after being interrupted 3 times. Maybe you should lock the door, at home and at the office. Or better yet. Just stop making out at work. And call me old-fashioned. if a door is closed, I knock before I just walk in. That includes my siblings' houses, and my parents too. Now as for Hope and Thomas going to San Francisco. I predict an unexpected weather situation. Or the plane will have some mechanical problems. Whatever. They will have to stay overnight. Hope will try to seduce Thomas. He will resist. They will return home acting all weird and awkward. Everyone (especially Liam) will accuse Thomas of trying something. Hope will blame Brooke for her "lust for the bad boys" influence. Because of course people are powerless to those things. 😌

ReplyDeleteFavorite line of the day: when Steffy said, "Oh great, you're back" to Liam after he barged in her office for the second time. I have had that same thought when Liam pops up in scene after scene rehashing stuff about Thomas.
Liam could have also gone since he has his concerns.
DeleteElle I think that would just prove to Hope that he doesn't trust her, and needs to be protected because she's so vulnerable and can't think for herself, and needs to be treated like a child and push her further away. That's not a loving relationship and think she is cluing into that. I could be wrong.

ReplyDeleteI was quite surprised when Hope and Carter came to the office to tell Thomas about the trip, that Hope was going on and on about it without once stopping to think about telling her husband then, what do you know, Thomas was the one to ask "what about Liam?"
I had to laugh at Liam today and his declaration about how honest, genuine and forthright his wife is yet, every single time that Hope tells Liam she loves him and that he is her number one, they hug and she gets this look of guilt on her face. What is she guilty about? Her feelings feel Thomas, lying to her husband or both?

BBFan, I think what Thomas said today about Hope never being like Brooke was his way of keeping her in check by letting her know that whatever is going on with her, it's not real because she's not that kind of girl. Similar to Brooke telling her that she does not like bad boys.

There have been hundreds of comments on the blog for the past few days but somebody somewhere said that this trip would be Steffy's idea and a way to interfere with their marriage, that's why I said above if Steffy want's to derail the marriage she had a chance today. ReplyDeleteI think Steffy, or someone should have suggested (better yet required) a third person go on the trip with Hope and Thomas. Maybe a Forrester Creations social media employee whose job is to post things on the company's website. Surely a well known fashion company would have someone like that. That would have made Steffy and Liam feel better. Not that they should really have to.
ReplyDeleteFor now, Steffy is the only one (other than Thomas) who suspects that something is up with Hope. For her to suggest that might raise some suspicion since I'm sure FC designers go on similar trips all the time without having to be chaperoned.

That would cause some problems for sure. There is no need to send anyone along. That would be completely odd and cause gossip. That is the last thing they need.
DeleteI felt very sorry for Hope today. She was so excited about the trip and the opportunity it represents. Enter Liam and all the life and joy went out of her. The anxiety was rolling off her in waves.

That dynamic is completely unhealthy .
It’s odd, because when Hope is talking with Thomas she’s completely relaxed. She is laughing and excited for this trip and impressing the buyers. She and Thomas share a vision and she keeps saying, “…our line…” she’s even corrected him a few times that HFTF is them not her.
I think Liam’s sucking all the oxygen out of the room, and Hope having to creep round on tippie toes, is going to have a very negative impact on their marriage and future.
There is sooo much foreshadowing now. Something is going to happen it’s only a matter of time.
I think Hope's excitement had more to do with going on the trip with Thomas. It was odd that receiving such exciting news, she didn't feel compelled to call her husband, who is her number one, to let him know that she is going to be out of town for a few hours. From the moment Thomas asked about Liam, Hope's whole demeanor changed.

I think Thomas handled the whole situation very well except at the end when he repeatedly said how Hope is not like Brooke, and she would never do something like that. Why does that need to be brought up at all, Thomas?? What’s your point in saying that? And why does Hope’s face look like she suddenly gets possessed every time someone brings up Brooke’s past behavior. So completely unbelievable. It’s like all of a sudden she goes into some trance!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And lastly, here was another day of Hope and Liam professing their love to each other!!!
Liam is a superstar for not giving Hope a hard time even when she clearly forgot to mention the trip to her husband before she committed to going. Liam handled it soooooooo incredibly well!! What a wonderful loving, supportive, caring husband he is!!!! Liam rocks!!!!
Was it my imagination that Hope schtupped a very married Liam, got pregnant by him and dragged him away from Steffy some years ago? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and we knew that long ago.

As far as Thomas is concerned…I give him props for being considerate of Liam. Every time, Elle?? You saw her picture Thomas’ face when they were making love ONCE! That hardly constitutes every time. The other time was AFTER they had made love and she was stressing about the events of the day before or earlier that day (whatever the timeframe) because Steffy had lashed into her. As I have said, Hope is no longer having those intrusive thoughts / daydreams about Thomas like she was in weeks past.
DeleteHope is confused by whatever is going on with her. And she doesn’t recognize these thoughts as “love feelings” for Thomas as she has told her mom and Steffy multiple times. So as far as Hope is concerned, there is nothing to tell. If she actually comes to the realization that she is falling in love with Thomas, then she absolutely needs to talk to Liam about it. I would never condone Hope pursuing another man while being married to Liam!!
The reason I think Steffy needs to say something to Liam is mainly because he has voiced his concerns sooooo many times. To keep secret what Steffy “thinks she knows” is not fair to Liam. If Liam hadn’t asked repeatedly, I may agree with you that Steffy would be butting in inappropriately. But what makes it different (in my eyes) is because of Liam’s very serious concern that he has expressed to literally everyone!

DeleteLynn actually Hope has been thinking about Thomas. You missed the opening two minutes that was cut. The very scene was Hope at her desk thinking of her night with Liam for about 2 seconds including a guilty look on her face. Then she was thinking about Thomas, holding his hands, gazing at him then lingering on his smile. She was quite flustered after that and Steffy walked in immediately after that and told her they needed to talk. Two full scenes were cut and the beginning of the one with Liam and Wyatt too.

Regards Liam, he’s asking about concerns in Thomas’s behaviour. Not, his wife’s! Steffy isn’t lying saying there is no concern about her brother!! It’s true!
DeleteHope swore there was nothing inappropriate happening. Steffy is concerned but without seeing them kiss or something she can’t be 100% sure. Also she knows Liam will go ballistic on Thomas and blame him. He won’t believe Hope initiated anything. She doesn’t want any more animosity from Liam than is already present.
You ladies are the ones who keep saying Liam is suspecting Hope has feelings for Thomas, which I disputed. And Steffy does have an obligation to tell Liam she has concerns about the situation between Hope and Thomas regardless of what her perceptions are about Hope. The reason Hope is back to working with Thomas at all is all on Steffy for insisting that Thomas come back or the line is kaput! This whole mess was caused by Steffy. She is being dishonest in not bringing her concerns to Liam.

Hope was happily daydreaming about the romantic night she had with Liam with a big smile on her face. Then her mind cut to holding Thomas’ hands at the office and a look of fear and dread replaced the smile she had on her face when she was thinking about Liam. So not the way you described it all, BBFAN. This is why I say you can’t be trusted with your perception of events on the show. You totally spun that into something very different.
I don’t know this wool gathering term you use. But what I know is that Hope had a big smile on her face thinking about her loving night with Liam. Cut to her now thinking about Thomas hand holding and her face changed to concern and dread just like I said above. Watch it again.

And since Hope thinks that Thomas truly sees her, I hope she listened to what he said and gets a grip of herself. Elle, Thomas is definitely not trying to take the necessary steps to prevent something from happening. We saw that on Friday’s episode when Thomas hugged Hope then gazed into her eyes. Not the actions of a man who is concerned something may happen. Lol
DeleteLet's see what happens on Monday then we can talk. They always end scenes like that in similar fashion which then turns out to be something completely different to what we thought would happen. Like the scene with Ridge and Brooke recently where we thought for sure that they were going to have sex then it turned out that they didn't.

Unknown was predicting a full on love affair within days. And now we are a month plus in, and still nothing has happened!
But one thing Elle, regardless of what happens on Monday….Thomas’ actions at the end of Friday’s episode are NOT that of a man taking the necessary steps to PREVENT something from happening. If Hope would have been the one going in to initiate a hug, the FF’s would have been all over that like a fly on poop!! Lol
