Steffy was so superior because Sheila wasn't a threat behind bars. That's ok, Sheila will owe you one. Jack needs his block knocked off. Still the wad. Always.
ReplyDeleteSteffy has no hesitation to gloat to Sheila, no fear of when Sheila does get out. she could get shot again. How many times does someone need to be proved wrong and in trouble? The belief system of someone who really believes any situation is the final say because it's going her way for the moment.
DeleteWhat am I missing here. Twice now Sheila has referred to Jack ad Yop defence attorney. I thought he was a Dr. and that's how Sheila hooked up with him back in the day, they were working in the same hospital when they started their affair and conceived Finn. Am I missing something ??

DeleteThey do that for years now ! they think we are stupid and won't remember... When Steffy said for the first time that "because of Brooke she had to live without her father" I was like "what?? When did that happened ? Taylor "died" she was with her father, when he married Brooke and had RJ, they were a family, the only moment she wasn't living without her father was when HER MOTHER back from the dead send them on boarding school!!

And remember that Taylor was a Oncologist when Caroline, Ridge's first wife died, but she chose to go back to her "first love" psychology, meaning she had already 15 or 17 years of studying at that time and suddenly, she is younger than Brooke LOL.
But, the gold medal goes to Taylor and Ridge's twins that were identical at birth and weren't anymore when they became teenagers! Hilarious...
All super valid points. I also always found Taylor's age waaaaaay too stretchy even for soap "reality". It got 10x weirder when she was engaged to Rick who she was there when he was born, exactly around the time she supposedly rediscovered her first love Psychology. That would make her at least 30 then Rick was no less than 22, so 52 by that time, and in the meantime Hope grew from 6 to early 30s so I don't even want to calculate anymore what that makes Taylor...

@Milla Steffy is so sure that she is finally safe, but when Sheila shows up at the door like Jack Nickelson did in "Shining" she will have to rethink her cocky attitude again. My question for her is "Are you really feeling safe now Steffy? As for Katie, spit it out tell Bill that "Yes" I think my relationship with Carter is REAL! I don't want you and trust you anymore Bill, go find another woman to go "Gaga" after and leave me alone. Is that so hard to do, stop being quite spill the beans!
DeleteShe was quite vague about Carter today when she and Bill talked about him. She talked about the kind of man that Carter is but she really did not make it clear to Bill that Carter is the man of her future.

DeleteKatie can't make it clear he's the man of her future, because that comes after more time and commitment. If she and Carter had talked about it, made plans etc then she would talk to a third person about future. But she reiterated what the current state is - Carter is the man of her present and she cares deeply about him. And feels safer with him.
DeleteWhy does Katie need more time and commitment to tell her ex-husband that, for now, she would like to build a future with Carter and not with him (Bill)? They've slept together, which means that they are moving forward in their relationship.
DeleteThis is why I said that Katie was pretty vague. She and Carter may not have had the "we are building a future together" talk but if she truly wants to get Bill off her back, she would let him know that she and Carter are serious. She did not do that.

DeleteShe is not supposed to talk to anyone about future but the person it is going to be with. Bill only needs to know that he's not who she wants, why and who she does want. There's no need to involve the future to make her point. And she made it well.

I love Katie and Carter together but I am sure Bill will have her back in time.

DeleteSteffy hasn’t forgotten not only what Sheila did to her. Granny and Granda, her mum but especially what she did to her husband! She shot Finn and then Steffy. She wanted them both to die! She did want Finn to die because she shot Steffy when she tried to ring for emergency services to save his life!!
Sheila also hurt Li terribly. She slept with her husband and crashed the wedding of the son she adopted, loved and raised. Sheila hurt Li deliberately she wanted her to know for spite.
Is Steffy wise blowing off to Sheila, probably not. However she needs closure so she can move on. Despite how much she loathes his bio mum, she still supports Finn in dealing with everything.
End of the day, many people have gone to Sheila to have a go at her and rightly so. I remember when Brooke told her off and was happy she’d rot ( before she escaped) . I think we’ll see more characters heading to the prison to have a go.
I’m glad Jack stood tough against her
Well done Katie walking away and not letting Bill yank your strings. He’s such a tosser. She can’t let him and Brooke go because she can never trust him, not should she.
If you remember in the very first episodes, Katie has always had a self confidence issue. She was worried about spots etc. Having the beautiful Brooke as a big sister would be difficult enough. Having ones husband sleep with and be eternally in love with said big sister would leave deep scars on anyone.
Carter is good for her. I hope she doesn’t muck it up with Bill. It really is his pride. She was 100% correct, he only wants her when he cannot have her .
@ Tina Even though Steffy is grown up there is still the part of her teenage self still there, she not going to change herself even though Finn is related to Sheila. Look in her past history how she trashed Hope to Liam, and he rarely (off and on) stood up to Steffy and told her to shut up. Steffy doesn't always think she just says what's on her mind without thinking who she may be hurting. Again, Steffy is not taking Sheila's history serious and how she is a "Genius" in getting herself out of prison, jail, and the "Coocoo House" otherwise she wouldn't have had the guts to stand up to her like she did. But when someone comes knocking at the door, her will be popping out of her head, and she will be speechless, as the cat will cut her tongue.
DeleteBBFan, I think people forget that Sheila shot her and left her for dead. Her family suffered for a long time thinking that Finn was dead. Steffy has a right to feel justified.
DeleteFair enough….Steffy has a right to face Sheila and rub in her face that she will rot in prison. But to go on and on about it to Finn is not called for. She is still the person who gave birth to the msn she loves so dearly. And she pointed that out to Finn when Finn brought up the affair that Jack and Sheila had. So Steffy actually appreciates Sheila for bringing Finn into this world, but despises her for everything else. Kind of hypocritical. Again, Steffy has a right to face Sheila and tell her off, but I still think she should button her mouth around Finn!!

And Elle, like the LF’s said yesterday….Katie is very serious about Carter. This is not just some rebound thing! Carter is a PRIZE!! And Katie absolutely recognizes that. She looked soooooo relieved to be in Carter’s arms after her interaction with Bill. You can just see on her face that Carter is her safe and happy place! She is definitely not playing him. I think her heart belongs to Carter!!
Lynn, I don't think that Katie is playing Carter - at least not consciously. I do think that she still has her heart open for Bill to allow him to prove that she is #1 in his life and not Brooke. As such, Carter is a very good stand in for her to keep her from being drawn back to Bill. She's not purposely using him (she does care for him), but then again, she kinda is.
DeleteAnd to be fair where Steffy is concerned, she did not show appreciation for Sheila birthing Finn. They were talking about his dad and she made the observation that if it weren't for what Jack did, she wouldn't have Finn.
No matter how you slice it, Finn is on this planet because of Sheila giving birth to him. So whether Steffy actually said those words or not, that’s the reality.
DeleteI don’t think that Bill will ever convince Katie that she truly is all he wants and desires. She said those very words to Carter, “Bill wants me because he can’t have me.” She’s smart enough to realize that if she allows Bill back in, it will just be a matter of time before he takes her for granted again…because that’s just what Bill does. That fact does not go unnoticed by Katie. She knows Bill’s ways better than just about anyone. And that’s why I honestly don’t see her getting sucked back in. You gotta remember Elle, Katie was holding strong long before Carter came into the picture. She had told Bill he was out months and months ago! (Maybe over a year in soap opera time!)

DeleteFinn saved Sheila’s life because he’s a doctor and took an oath. He was clearly conflicted and sooooo wanted to let her just die. He only saved her because he couldn’t ethically let her die. It’s not out of some great love for Sheila.

Secondly, Steffy has a ONE TRACK MIND!! Sheila is ALL she thinks about. And it’s been that way for too many months to even count!!! You ladies have been bad mouthing Liam every chance you get for being concerned about Thomas working with Hope again. How many dozens and dozens of comments did we endure while you were all whining about Liam’s whining??!! And the Liam thing went on for just a couple weeks!! Please please let’s stop the hypocrisy FF’s!!
No one ever said Thomas should be in prison “forever”. Is he responsible for Emma’s death…the LF’s say absolutely! But no one ever said he should be put away for life.
And of course we want Sheila locked up FOREVER! But what does that have to do with Steffy’s inability to talk to Finn about literally ANYTHING else!???!!!
She is still the woman who gave birth to him. So no matter how much he hates her, there’s a part of him that struggles psychologically with the whole Sheila mess. And all we said was that Steffy may want to dial back the constant, never ending Sheila bashing! End of story.
And the Brooke comparison is absurd. We probably heard Brooke complain about Sheila and the champagne bottle switch on a few episodes at most.
