To me that statement leaves it open. Taylor is saying that things between her and Ridge are not going in a romantic direction CURRENTLY. But what if Brooke gets together with Deacon, then Ridge decides he wants to be with Taylor?? What is “NOT” today could very well be different in the future. But I’m sure y’all will make some grand excuse for Taylor if that happens. However, the LF’s will simply be calling her a big liar!
Brooke leaves it open too. Taylor as you said "I love Ridge and always will. Do I wish things could have been different with Ridge? Yeah but they are NOT."

DeleteD - I see Taylor’s response as more vague. But if I had to guess, I would say that ultimately it will be Brooke and Ridge back together (as much as the Logan fans don’t want that) because of the whole destiny thing.

ReplyDeleteBrooke did say she wants a man she’s had history with. She was very much in love with Deacon back in the day, and we know Hope would be ecstatic to have them together.
I used to think that they'd be great together because he had eyes only for her. But this thing with Sheila, I'm not sure anymore. Brooke needs to have someone who will be completely devoted to her. Not someone whose heart is divided.

I still don’t believe her intentions are 100% pure Mmysh. What else would she tell Deacon - "ah yeaah I hope Brooke will be out of the way forever"? Then it would look like she's using him. But whatever her intentions are, Brooke already said no to Deacon and his diamond ring. Nothing has changed. I don't see her saying yes now just because what? He has a restaurant? Plus he doesn't seem that eager to try again and hear No again. To me this whole thing looks like a shortcut to a Taylor and Deacon storyline. While the others are in Rome, they can hook up 😁

Mmysh and Milla, I posted a comment above. If you listen to Taylor’s words near the latter part of the episode, she kinda left it open. She is addressing ‘current state.’ But she didn’t actually say that at no point in the future would she ever consider getting back together with Ridge. I think that’s key.

Hahaha Lynn indeed I don't know what it's about but sounds funny nonetheless. And very well spotted Taylor's words. I can't imagine her ever not wanting Ridge. So if she does get together with Deacon, they will be each other's second choice 😀 much less risky position to be in.

That was my thought too Elle. Taylor has spent many years alone and can handle it but this is literally the first time Brooke hasn’t had a man in. Over four decades!!

DeleteAnd you make a very good point about Taylor being alone for years. She's not dependent on Ridge and so, it's not difficult for her to stay true to their pact. Brooke however, has never had that self-reliance.

Well, well, well! Finn finally had the guts to tell Sheila off. As for Steffy, she just put her foot in her mouth, she has been so sure of herself that she had finally gotten rid of Sheils for good, but we all know better that Sheila can haunt you down no matter where she may be, so Steffy better learn that Sheila will always be around and that she will NEVER leave her and Finn alone. STEFFY has now entered "THE SHEILA ZONE" just when Steffy thought it was over SURPRISE, SHE'S BAAACK! 😨😨😨 Now, Taylor match making again this time with Deacon, I used to think that Taylor did things as a good intention, BUT because of this "Breaking ties with Ridge" vowel thing, I think Taylor is trying to distract Brooke so that she could make her move on Ridge. However, Bradley Bell doesn't seem to be leaning on any intentions for Ridge and Taylor to get together. There is already talk that the filming in Europe, is going to bring Ridge and Brooke together and that is for sure going to be an ouch for Taylor, since Steffy will be there keeping an eye on Hope, Thomas, Ridge, and Brooke.
